Exorbitant Cancellation Policy, Even With Notice
Had booked with Go Rentals for a trip upcoming in Queenstown. Have had to cancel the trip due to an injury and given a weeks notice. Since there was a prepayment made, I’ve been charged 10% for the cancellation fee, 10% for the refund of the pre-made payment fee, plus an administration fee. All up have lost 20% of the total booking amount. Recommend not paying in advance so if anything arises you won’t be charged so much. Really unhappy and won’t be rebooking!
Great costumer service
Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip to New Zealand due to Covid restrictions, I contacted Go Rentals via e-mail asking for a cancellation and they replied within 30 minutes not only confirming the cancelation but also waiving any cancellation fees due to the travel restrictions. Will definitely book again with them once we can travel again.
Fantastic NZ Car Rental Company
This company are a great local kiwi car rental company. Nothing is too hard for them, the staff are very friendly and get you out on the road in no time at all! They have a GO Play card which gives you discounts for heaps of activities around the country which is handy. Drop off was super easy too, just give them the keys and then you are off to the airport. Will be using them again next time I'm in NZ.
