Gift not received on the recipients birthday, despite being ordered one week in advance, and making contact with Gourmet Basket in the week leading up to the required delivery date to query why it had not yet been dispatched from their warehouse. Customer service representative did not take any responsibility for the delay or even offer an apology, instead laying the blame at the feet of the courier.

I ordered a Gluten Free Hamper for my daughter for her birthday. Order done Wednesday evening for Friday delivery in Brisbane CBD and according to site no problem with this date. Cannot comment on product due to non arrival. Cost over $171.00 so thought it would arrive without problem. Their carriers do not work weekends or Public holidays so unable to sort out. Now Monday and finally have had contact with Representative of Co who apologised for delay and assured delivery today. Offered refund shipping. Big deal $17.00. NEVER AGAIN

I send a hamper to my husband 1 week in advance. The surprise is ruined. We didn't receive the gift. 2 days passed since our anniversary and still nothing. I paid over $200 for the gift. Messaged them and tried to call, no reply. Beware! What should I do now? Sit and wait at home every day for the hamper??? Expensive gifts and you don't know if you would even receive it! very sad.... I wish i would read these reviews before! Their hampers are overpriced and they charge too much for delivery. Bad experience! Do not recommend.

I purchased a basket for Mothers day because they said it would be delivered in time and specifically said that signature was not required and would leave.
They didn't leave it and now my Mother, who is recovering from the flu, has no gift on Mothers Day and also has to travel to collect the basket from the depot. It was absolutely not my intention to make her leave the house - now my "gift" is just an annoyance and inconvenience.... Happy Mothers Day.
There are many many places to safely leave packages at my parents house so that was not the issue.
Won't use these people again.

I ordered a picnic bsdket as an engagement present on Thursdsy night at 4pm and it was delivered Friday morning by 0830. It was exactly as i ordered including complimentary gift tag. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered a gift hamper for a friends milestone birthday to be deliverd on a specific date. The hamper was delivered a week early, spoiling the surprise. when I complained to the company their response was patronizing. 100% happiness guarantee???? I dont think so.

I've used them twice. The first was for a client gift the second for a Christmas Staff gift.
Both times I've been pleased with my gift and service.

The staff were helpful in making a custom hamper for me even though it was the busy Christmas period. I wanted fresh cheese add ons to their regular hamper and they were polite, patient and friendly over the phone.

It arrived on time and was well received. Would highly recommend and use again.

I ordered a hamper for Christmas and meant to be delivered the following day as a express delivery which i payed extra $25 and it still hasn't .

Purchased 2 different baskets to be delivered on the same day and even double checked with them and they assured me they were together and are on the van for delivery that day. 1 got delivered and I got no kind of confirmation only because I thought to have a look on aus post and find out the other 1 is still in Sydney. When I call the care team they offer no kind of resolution or refund as I did pay extra for the express and to have them dropped off together. Won’t be using them again.

I paid for 2 beer hampers to be delivered to a friend in Qld by a certain date, as a surprize early 60th birthday present. I was told they'd be delivered on the date I requested, so I arranged for someone to be there when they arrived. They never did. They were delivered a week late, with the excuse that they were only allowed to send 1 beer hamper from NSW to Qld at a time. Rubbish. There was no contact from them and certainly no apology. Very poor all round.
