Not a good unit

published

The machine did not dissolve tablets very well.
It ran OK, the program was very rigid, meaning everything was preset. We couldn't alter temp, or cycle times.
The unit only worked for around two months, then the units electronics died. This we couldn't believe. Unsure I if we just brought a lemon but because the after market service was also very so so. Possibly won't purchase this brand again.

I have to say the manufacturer came through eventually, and was closely followed by the retailer in giving us a refund, however this took over two months and many phone calls. Not impressed

Cheap but not nasty

published

I know Haier cops a bit of a beating for being cheap and nasty. I don't think this is the case with this dishwasher. Its external presentation is neat and tidy and it has a good water efficiency rating. It is, however, quite noisy. Expect to have to turn the television volume up because the dishwasher runs at a full roar. Its racks don't optimise space, do if you're trying to get crockery in from six people, this is not the dishwasher for you. If you're a couple, you'll find it quite satisfactory.

Cleans dishes exceptionally well
Dishes need to be loaded a certain way
I dont find it to loud
Not so good on the drying of dishes however I leave the door ajar for about 30 minutes and the dishes are dry
Its simple to use and for the price its a good buy

Good but noisy

published

Overall does a great job but be advised that you are best to programm the machine when you are about to leave the premises as you will be annoyed by the level of noise.
All dishes and difficult pots have all cleaned to a better standard than other better known brands we have owned.

It's decent, a good buy considering the price

published

This dishwasher was purchased for our investment property, and we had a few test runs. I was happy with how clean the dishes get, it's not too loud. The only downside is that typical washing and drying cycle lasts more than 2 hrs, so it's not very water efficient. I like that there is a delay start function, so I can leave the job to night time.

That error code means there is an issue with the drainage pump or over flow sensor and there is still liquid in the bottom of the dishwasher. Please fund the info that I have sauced from the Haier service support centre for technicians

Code:E30

Description:Overflow Alarm

Cause:

1.The drain pump does not work
2.Water is in the bottom tray
3.The overflow switch failure
4.The connecting failure
5.The overflow switch is assembled on incorrect position
6.The mainboard failure
Simple Solution:
1.Replace the mainboard
2.Check the leakage position and then reassembly it or replace the leakage component and record the leakage reason
3.Replace the overflow switch
4.Reconnect the harness
5.Reassemble the overflow switch
6.Replace the mainboard

These are not full steps you have to take but more guide lines for service techs that come to your house to do repairs.

If you still have warranty, call Haier and they will send a fisher and paykel service tech to your house

Hope this helps.

What is the E40 fault and why is water leaking from the door.

Water leaking from the door would indicate that there is an issue with the door seal. This could be from a damaged seal to even something being in the way of the seal and allowing water to escape. I have looked up codes for this model as I have one and I was curious but there is nothing within the manual. A very long call to Fisher and Paykel are also known Haier as they seem to have one staff member working their call centres for Australia and New Zealand. The result was a flow meter error which also could be why water is leaking out the door. This error could cause the unit to overfill.

If you haven't in the past, clean the spray arms, filter and mesh bottom. The run a heavy wash with a finish Dishwasher cleaner and run the unit. This issue could result from a Control panel error to sensor error and if it is just the sensor, I hope there is just some grease built up and the cleaner hopefully will clean it away. This is in no way a fix if there is an issue but just what I would do before replacing or getting the unit repaired.

Furthermore, I recommend doing the finish clean once a month with normal use or more often with heavy use. I also recommend not using short cycles and either using Auto or heavy cycles.
