Worst customer service!
I walked into the Suttons Homebush Honda dealership in the intent of being a serious buyer as I knew I wanted the new civic. I had to beg the sales person to give me a good deal and after opting for rubber mats and boot tray the sales person told me that in order to give me the Honda Civic vti-s for 26k he couldnt "afford" to keep a rubber mat ($99) and boot tray ($99). So he tried to take my extras off me which I said NO! Then I asked for a hire/courtesy car till my car arrived from shipment he said he couldn't do, I put my foot down and said ...Read more
he had too, eventually he arranged a huge family car for me a - young lady that had issues with it btw. After two days I changed my mind and wanted to upgrade from the Vti-s to the RS I told the dealer in person only to be laughed at and told incorrect high prices. I asked him whether they had any demo or used car and he said no. I was unhappy and wanted to storm out. So I did my research about the Suttons Honda used cars and found multiple cars available. It was a decietful act on his behalf to tell me he didn't have any which in fact they did. I contacted the dealer only to be given the run around, I called multiple times on my day off as I wanted that car. Eventually I just gave up and I went to the Suttons City dealership which has way better customer service. After I had secured the car I wanted I contact management at Suttons Homebush and complained the manager Raymond and Rinic took my experience seriously and they tried to fix it by then it was too late.Similar opinion? If you like sleazy 80's sales tactics, lying and contacting your bank to get your deposit back, look
Put a deposit down on a used Nissan Murano from Honda Alto Blacktown that I saw on carsales.
I was told the car was ready to go, and asked if I would to pick it up on the weekend.
I advised that wanted to get an independent inspection of the vehicle by NRMA, then what do you know, within an hour I get a call from Alto Honda telling me a few major issues were discovered with the car, and that it would take at least a week to repair.
After contemplating the likelihood of their story actually being true, I came to the conclusion that it was l...Read more
ikely this "used car salesmen" was living up perfectly to the stereotype. Naturally, I requested my $500 deposit back. Moments later, I received a 30 minute phone call from an abusive, bullying, sleazy 80's salesmen, telling me I was "locked in" to a contract, and "committed" to proceeding with a purchase - he even attempted to say that I was legally obliged to proceed with the purchase, absolutely pathetic. I demanded my deposit back, to a last remark that I'd be paying a 5% fee for not proceeding with the sale.

Excellent support
I recently had the symbol for a problem with one of my tyres displayed on the dashboard of my 2.5 year old Honda Civic. From the time I drove to the service centre, slightly stressed, at Southside Honda Woolloongabba late one Saturday morning and encountered a young man heading into the main office and asked him what I should do, I was treated with care, respect and great professionalism. I went back on the Monday because the symbol was still displayed after I had put air in the tyres. The attention I received was first rate. I had a third visit on the Tuesday at which time the mechanics finally resolved the problem. At every stage I could not fault the level of service and professionalism I received.

What a poor customer service
Homebush honda (suttons honda) has the worst customer service out of all the services I have received from my entire life. Especially the dealer [name removed], very rude, gave us a wrong information about the insurance policy, he was on his freaking phone half the time when talking to us, he didn't even bother telling us about the car... it was just very rude and tragic. The dealer also calls me up to ask if i can rate him and the company generously... lol like for real? I already told my friends and people around me not to go to homebush honda and here I'll let you guys know as well don't go to HOMEBUSH HONDA if homebush honda wants to regain or even gain a reputation they better train the dealers on how to treat their customers.

Never recommend
The worst customer service that we ever had at Homebush Honda. The car is fantastic quality but never ever recommend to anyone who wants to get cars with friendly and great services. Nobody didn't even apologise for their serious mistakes. Better go to other Honda dealerships...

Disenchanted by over charging - Loyalty is simply not rewarded
12 years we have been a loyal customer having two of our Honda cars, both purchased and being serviced by Ringwood Honda. Over recent years we have noted their charges increase substantially and each time the car was collected after a service, the service team would advise additional repairs required along with the cost involved requesting when we would like to book the car in. With the last service and when collecting the vehicle my wife was advised that over $3,500 of work is needed, that there is a safety issue here and these repairs were re...Read more
quired and when did we want to book the car in. Taken aback, we spoke to the service manager who supported these repairs were required and provided a slight discount. Still not happy with this situation we sourced a second and third opinion to verify the repairs were required and the cost. Of the issues suggested by Ringwood Honda two were bonafide and have been repaired for 50% of the cost quoted by Ringwood Honda. The other two repair issues were simply not required in the view of the other service centers. Interestingly a lot of the issues where these repairs were required also fell out of the warranty period. In speaking of this recent experience with friends and colleagues, there are many other stories where people have been exposed to dealerships over servicing and charging, In fact I understand servicing of cars is a major revenue and a very profitable source to dealerships. I get that you can always source a cheaper price and you get what you pay for, nonetheless trust is important as is knowing that you are being looked after and unfortunately it appears nowadays with loyalty you pay more. In future i will be obtaining second quotes and verification the services required are true.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

No Dealership wants to honor Vouchers and extremely rude dealers!
Purchased a pre-owned Honda Odyssey 2014 which has Complimentary Pre-Owned Vehicle Inspection vouchers in its logbook booklet. I called and went to 2 different dealers close to my area, they talked to me like I am a begger or a scum and told me they are not aware of it so they are not going to honor it. What I did not understand, why would you be so rude? If no one knows it why add the voucher to the log book, waste my 2 hours and make me angry out of nothing?
Later I decided against the vouchers and decided to take the vehicle for a full s...Read more
ervice (paying from my pocket). As I had issues with 2 dealers I decided to call another one. Oh my god, Honda dealers are amazing in terms of their choice of customer service people or receptionists. You think I ask to borrow money from them, unbelievable. This was the first time I have ever owned a Honda. Never again, dear Honda servicing a vehicle is part of the full product and you absolutely failed in this case.Similar opinion? The Absolute Lack Of Customer Service Is Breathtaking.
Appears to be systemic throughout the entire company - dealers and corporate alike. After sales service & pick up was appalling and unacceptable. Service centres do not reply to emails re bookings and customer service non-existent, only rude and argumentative employees with no people skills at all. An absolute disgrace. Everyone needs to be retrained (or sacked). Will n o t be purchasing another honda (and they clearly do not care). Call centre / customer service staff entirely unprofessional, discreditable and reprehensible. Really, really stupid, arrogant people who clearly deserve the rotten feedback, judging by other comments.

Mixed feelings
I purchased a brand new 2016 Honda Civic RS from Alto Honda Blacktown NSW. This is the first time that I have ever purchased a brand new car and I purchased many optional extras such as window tinting, paint and interior protection, 5 year warranty, roadside assistance and Honda's own comprehensive insurance via Alliance. The service was mostly good however there were still issues.
Firstly the window tint bubbled and spotted however this resolved itself and Honda Alto did their best to sort that issue out for me.
Secondly the 2 front leat...Read more
her seats became dis-colored and Honda Alto had to re-do the protection on them however what my wife and I have noticed is that the rear leather seat is looking "pale" and my wife told me it is very doubtful that the car actually had the interior protection done in it even though I have payed for it. Thirdly when the rear sub woofer is playing it vibrates the rear plastic panel even when it is turned right down. I do not like loud music and this is very obviously a fault with the build quality of that panel however when I reported this issue to the sales representative, he just made a comment saying to "turn the speakers down". That is very obviously a very stupid comment to make and there was no offer to fix that issue for me. Even when the car is moving on the road without the speakers running, the rear panel still vibrates very noisily and this should not be happening with a new car however I have managed to stop it by inserting a folded up cloth between the panel and the car sheet metal. Lastly there is a constant "clicking/tapping sound inside the car which my wife and I can not find the source of however I suspect it is coming from the rear passenger side door. I reported this to Alto Honda in writing however all these months later and there has been no response or offer to investigate that noise. So all up the service from Alto Honda has been a mixed bag of good and bad.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Cheating service at Southern Highland Honda, Moss Vale, NSW
How far you should trust to a professional and reliable car service provided by Authorized Honda Dealers?
Please read my story. Then be smart and don't let Authorized Honda Service to cheat you and rip you off from a big money.
About a year ago I have decided to buy a second hand Honda car from first car owner. It was Honda MDX 2003. The car was advertised and claimed to be regularly serviced by previous owner until 100 000 km by Honda Authorized Service – SOUTHERN HIGHLAND HONDA 208-222 ARGYLE ST, MOSS VALE, NSW 2577. Full regular servic...Read more
e history with dates and stamps from SOUTHERN HIGHLAND HONDA of scheduled maintenance service was presented to me by previous owner. The car's service history looked very good to me, so finally I have decided to buy the car. I did my new Honda service at my local Honda service, however for the next service I have decided to hire a friend who is a smart and reliable mobile car mechanic. The service for which Honda Dealer asked over $1100 include replacing: 1.Engine Oil filter, 2.Engine Oil (5L), 3.Fuel Filter, 4.Air Cleaner Element (Cabin Dust & Polen Filter) and ...that's ALL! for “as little” as.... $1100.00!!! I ordered from internet: very good quality engine oil, oil filter (genuine honda), and fuel filter and Dust & Polen Filter and paid for everything: $160. My mob car mechanic gave me quote to do the whole car service for $120. It took him about 40min to replace engine oil & filter and fuel filter, and another 30-40 min to replace a Dust & Polen Filter and another 10 min for inspecting other car elements. When he was replacing a Cabin Dust & Polen Filter he told me that he needs to cut the plastic cross brace in glove box as this cabin filter has NEVER been replaced since the car is new. I checked my car service book and showed him 80 000 maintenance scheduled service stamped and signed by SOUTHERN HIGHLAND HONDA which clearly shows the air cleaner element was claimed to be replaced. “But they did not do the job the filter 100% sure has not been replaced!” my mechanic replied with a smile. I could not believe that when paying over $1000 for the service to Authorised Honda Dealer which actually takes less than 2hrs they still want to cheat you!!! I was a bit in shock so I decided to write to Honda Australia Customer Service. Unfortunately Honda Australia Customer Service did not officially reply to my email. It looks like there was nothing extraordinary or unusual to them in my case. Well, its good to know and I think no comment is necessary. I have learnt from this lesson however that it's much better for either me and my car NOT to use Authorized Honda Service! Why? For my car ….when finding a truly reliable service my car can experience a better care including all maintenance elements to be replaced due to manufacturer's recommendation at the required intervals. I strongly believe it will make my car running well for long time without any major problems. For me … as I have just realised how much money I can save on services when I don't need really to pay for not reliable (Honda Authorised) Service. Instead of using Authorized Honda- poor service I prefer to use a Reliable, Trustworthy and Professional (No Authorised Honda) Car Service. P.S. The service at 100 000 km was carried out NOT by SOUTHERN HIGHLAND HONDA, so there is a chance the timing belt has been replaced by reliable car service.Similar opinion? Dreadful service at Honda Service Kingswood NSW, don't want to honour Honda warranty.
When I picked up my car after a serviced urging the warranty period I noticed a seal on the drivers side front door was partly unstuck. I pointed this out and was assured they would order a replacement, the repair would be under warranty and they would phone when the part came in. No one phoned. The next time I contacted them they said the part had come in but no one could locate it. Again they promised to phone. I waited for another couple of months, contacted them again and was told they would order the part and let me know...

Honda North Perth Osborne Park - better chose someone else
I contacted a dealer (JF) inquiring about Honda City. I got a call back while I was driving, had a small incident and I had to hang on him.
Got back an SMS like, that shows my character, I am a loser etc.
Called straightaway Sydney and told them about my exciting experience with them, knew it was no point in calling the manager here. The guy tried to contact me to "apologize". Not interested in calls meant to keep his job for further entertainment of future losers.

Very very bad customer service
I bought a brand new demo car and the in house finance was being a rip off. As soon as I went for finance outside they showed no regards and gave me a run for the car.
The outside finance beat their rate by 5% from the same bank I was approved and that's a big margin. Their in house broker [name removed] was a very cheeky and nosy and their commission rate was way to high.
I am extremely disappointed on their behaviour and service.

False information given by service department in regard to warranty issues
My Honda Civic is just under 12 months old. I have taken it back twice with battery failures occurring overnight. The first time I was told that the car had been thoroughly checked and the fault must be mine. The second time back Honda admitted that there was a fault and a component was replaced.
My third return for a warranty item related to the door seal on the drivers side. It had come adrift from the door and was loose. I was told that the seal had been refitted without trouble and the problem was that I had to spray the seal with a sili...Read more
cone spray to stop it sticking - again it is supposed to be my problem. Come on!!! The car is less than 12 months old -the so called 'requirement' to spray the seals with silicone is not included in the maintenance schedule and why is the car so poorly designed that the seal comes adrift from the door? Honda quality control had failed significantly and the service department is not honest in advising its customers. Next time for a new car it will be a new Mazda.Similar opinion? Best service I've ever had at a car dealership!
I came in today to find out about a particular model of car I was interested. I had been to another dealership previously and enquirer about the car but still had questions unanswered and as I was in the area, thought I'd drop into Collins Honda.
I was served by Jamil who was by far the BEST salesman I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
- he knew the vehicle inside out, from design, technology, manufacturing, comparative models, specs, etc.
- he showed us all the features of the vehicle.
- he even went to the trouble of showing me ...Read more

New Purchase
I recently purchased a brand new Honda CRV LE. I had a look at a couple of other makes of cars and come back to Honda as a last minute choice as I had always though Honda were far too expensive. I was very pleasantly surprised as the car was much more affordable than I thought. The dealer was super friendly and allowed me to take the car for a test drive alone which allowed me to really test out its capacity and its fit with me. I compared the price of this car to others and determined it was much better value and the bonus was it was exactly...Read more
what I originally wanted whereas the other cars I looked at just didn't fit in with what I wanted. The sale went thru quickly and effortlessly. The one downside was I was given a mere $4,500 tradein on my old car (a convertible) which was in exceptional condition and extremely low miles, only to see my car on the traders car lot a week late advertised for $12,000. This was after they went to great lengths to tell me the car would be difficult to sell because it was a convertible and not suited to a lot of people's needs. The next time I will sell privately.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Terrible Honda customer service
BE CAREFUL: Honda offers very limited and misguiding customer service -- On top of that it is expensive
I took my Honda to be serviced recently at the Homebush dealership/repairs, i was misguided regarding the actual fault of the car, this resulted in a close call to huge economic loss. While i reported this matter, the customer relations manager responded but did not follow up the matter. The head office also has yet to respond to my request. My car was repaired by another mechanic for less than 1/3 the price!!!

Buyer Beware, if it's not a new car they don't want to know you.
My husband was looking for a car to get around in. After shopping around we pulled in to Larke Hoskins Homebush & viewed a few cars & he purchased a 2003 Mistubishsi Magna Solara. After basically being told "you're not leaving till you buy a car" "we want you to be happy".
Picked it up the next day after it was "SERVICED" it was blowing smoke, smelled of burning oil & the Odometer was close to 20K less than the pictures advertised.
Would blow smoke when taking off from a stop position.

Be wary of Honda North in Perth !
To other Honda owners - must read – don't let this happen to you !
I recently purchased a brand new Honda from a Perth dealership. Paid $35000 for a new car. Then paid an extra $800 for reversing sensors to be installed in the car. 6 months into owning the car, got involved in a rear end accident. So, took it to a repairer who fixed everything really well, but curiously, - he had trouble getting the sensors in the back to work properly. He asked me – “Where did you get these from?” I said they came from the same dealer who sold me the car ...Read more
