Great Vacuum
I bought this as I hate cords. It is a very good cleaner. The suction is great. I find it a bit heavy ( I am over 60) but I love the convenience of it. It does not do corners or edges very well,it just can't reach there.... but I would not be without it.
I leave it sitting on the power so it is ready to go at anytime.
It is better to empty it out after each vacuum. You will be surprised at how much dust and dirt it gathers.

Awesome can't stop hoovering!
I bought this from Godfrey's at $89 as a special. I wanted this product a few months ago but I couldn't afford the $180 at that time. So I ended buying this pathetic k-mart homemaker 2nd 1 stick for $59. Totally and utterly useless. So when I saw the Hoover at that price I couldn't resist. I'm very very happy with it. I have mainly tiled floors but carpet in bedrooms. It's great picks up cat hair too.
It's quiet, lightweight looks expensive.
I keep it charged in my laundry room where the socket is quite high the cord isn't fantastically long but I just get an extention lead.

Loving the chord free
I've got a tiny apartment and this suits me so well. The suction is great, its lightweight, no power cords, detachable mini/hand vac, great for pet hair, folds up for easy storage (or the stand is good too). I've used it a few times and love it. I got it for $89 at Godfrey's so it was a bargain. I was buying poxy $70 ones from Kmart and its amazing I spent just a little more and its so much better. The only 'downside' is the small cup for dust/fur/dirt but its really easy to empty and if you're doing regular cleans there wont be much anyway. It...Read more
takes awhile to charge for about 20 mins usage but I just charge after I've finished and it's ready to go for next time so it's not inconvenient for me. I would very much recommend this to people with small area's or those who do regular touch ups anyway. Good for pet fur too. I love my Hoover! Good for pet fur, detachable hand vac, cordless, good suction only 20 mins battery, need to regularly empty as the cup is smallSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Awesomely handy
I bought this for my car, not expecting too much due to the size... But first 2 minutes of using this vacuum I was surprised with the power and how much dust it had sucked up! I'm so impressed I couldn't stop using it! Inside the house, on the stairs any small places it did well!
Best thing is its cordless so I wasn't tangled up and limited to one area! Great buy!!
Easy to use!, cheap!, sucks up well!
Maybe a cleaning time! But still too impressed to care!

Very convenient
Light weight, quick to charge, runs well, maneuvers well, easy to vacuum under the bed, easy to use on the stairs, a few nice little attachments, easy to detach the hand held part, easy to empty dust canister, like the hepa filter, folds down for easy storage. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Everything, looks good and works well.

Just Love It
My previous rechargeable vacuum expired, so I purchased this Hoover upright at half price, which was great in itself, and, the cleaner is easy to use, very manoeverable, easy to recharge, has its own charging stand, cleans how it should, I use it every day, and it just runs forever, and looks good too.

No idea. I got mine 3 years ago so I doubt it. There will be a equivalent current model out there at the $200 price point

The battery is flat on my Hoover Heritage5210, can I buy a replace battery, if so where from?
Paul
I would go to Jaycar electronics. If you remove the battery and give them a call they can tell you if they have it in stock. Ebay after that if no success

How do I detach the dust container from the hand hold

the red button above the light display (that shows recharge) will pop it open to empty. it pops back together easily
Godfrey G.Hoover
Hi Maria,
The red button is the on/off button for the handvac.
To release the dust bin you press down the light just below the red button.

Hi Godfrey G., I'm jumping in here, as you seem to know your stuff.
I have a Hoover Heritage 5210, it doesn't charge anymore, what is the problem, battery or charger and what can I do ? I love the versatility of the Vac! Regards Paul.

Pretty sure you can only buy these from Godfreys, not Harvey Norman :)
