Hi, I just bought my first Hyundai, a Kona. I've had the car for about a month now, does Hyundai send out customer satisfaction surveys? Or is it as I suspected, they don't give a damn once the cheque has cleared.....

"does Hyundai send out customer satisfaction surveys? Or is it as I suspected, they don't give a damn once the cheque has cleared...." -
DEFINITELY NOT THE ONE I DEALT WITH (Zupps). When I went to pick up my car (after 9 days!) I asked the customer service guy for a car key to check what they've done, he at first didn't want to give me the key, only when I said I will not pay until I check what they've done he hesitantly handed me the key. It's been now 2 days, all seems to be ok. for now. Good luck, hope your experience will be better.

You should never go to Zupps !!
Hyundai Northside is the place to go- bought several cars from them and the service and aftercare is A+.. Sun Heo (the sales guy) even gave me a follow up call the next day and following week to see how everything with the car was going and make sure I was happy. They also sent a customer survey the day I picked up the car which was independent of that dealership.

You need to go onto Hyundai australia's desktop website.
Down the bottom is a contact us section where you can select warranty etc to email them.
Always remember that you will catch many flies with honey and none with vinegar so be diplomatic and factual. I know from just a general enquiry in my case it took a month for a reply so chill for a reply.
Hope this helps :)

Many Thanks for your response.. We tried both Honey and Vinegar with no success... Judge Judy our next hope :)

Love the car though service has been so poor I could not recommend a Hyundai to anyone due to lack of service..

Replaced the window regulator for an i30 last May and it is faulty again. The dealer wants me to pay another $549 to replace it. I think it is ridiculous as it is just over a year and I did not anticipate it would give up so quickly. I am wondering how best to resolve the issue?

You can have warranty and service done by any dealer. Hopefully you got fixed price servicing agreement otherwise you will pay a lot if you go to a dealer. Your warranty will not be voided if you have your car serviced by other service providers like K Mart

Hi Brett,
I just recommend you not to take your car to someone who doesn't care about their customer experience. Find a good dealer and call them to make sure they can fix it then take it there. If they say it's not covered or anything, just check it with other dealers then make the final decision. You never know if they want to charge you extra or what!
Let me know how you go.
Cheers

I just bought a brand new Hyundai accent from the sutton dealer couple days ago and found out the right rear door was faulty, in day one i received the car. I called salesman straight away and he can only offer to fix the car with the first service.
I not happy with the solution then i spoken to sale manager, things got even worse. She blamed me of not check the car properly and broke the door and only offer to fix the part as it's warranty cover.
My point is I paid money to get 100% a brand new car not for a faulty door car and have to do service in 2nd day of purchased in their fault. And with the attitude of sale manager with bad customer service I faced.
I want to make a complain. Who I can contact?

Hey there, firstly, I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Although, generally decent cars, the customer service behind them is shocking, it makes buying a brand new car dreadful and upsetting.

I would address Hyundai directly first as well as the owner of the dealer, i.e. through facebook and in any public means necessary to get your point across. Think of everyone directly connected to Hyandai (I no, so nasty). Threaten to take them to fair trading aswell, maybe it might provoke them to rectify with something your happy with.

If still, nothing has come about this, then approach NSW Fair trading and start a dispute with them, as long as you are certain that Hyundai will not rectify the problem. I too agree, you bought a brand new car and should not be fixing anything on it for ages, so yes I too, would be expecting a new one, since being a couple of days old.

Hope this helps!

If i were you i would definetly make myself heard. If you don't get anywhere with the dealership you bought from then if you have proof of your complaint and that the dealership won't fix this problem (although it is a brand new car there shouldn't be a problem) I would ring fair trading and see what my options are. But be careful because they have offered a couple of different ways to fix the problem. That is there way of covering themselves. Iam so sorry this has happened to you I really hope you can get something done. I think if you run them down to the public before you try Fair Trading that might go against you instead of helping. Good Luck

I would take it to a mechanic, if the car has done a lot of miles it may be normal, but if its near new it should still be under warranty... Ian

Ring the dealership service section and book the car in. Write down all your worries and have all your paperwork with you.
I would not shout or get angry it won't help. You just want your car fixed. Just present the facts and leave the car with them.
You could ask how long it may take and ask if you could have a service car if it will be longer that a day.
Also you should have someone to take you home....just in case there is not a service car.

No. Keema Hyundai Clevel;and just took $1000 off the price when we bought a new Elantra in 2012. (Should have been $1100 because of the GST) but I am pretty sure it was an eftpos card .

Does anyone here bought Hyundai on a year interest free? I just realised I have being charged $85 monthly though it says a year interest free. I did called St George Bank and they said they don't know why I'm being charged. Never again Hyundai.

Hi Jay,
I didn't buy with any interest deal, but you should probably check the fine print, as always there's some conditions attached! It maybe admin fee or something and plus don't trust Hyundai, they're very unreliable their words can't be trusted. If you want to complain to them make sure you talk to the manager directly otherwise they're just going to ignore you.

Thank you Eve.You are right. I won't recommend anyone to them. I have being having problems with them since I purchased the car. Right from the delivery of the car (waited 2months) till date.

Finally done with them. Geez was bad experience. I thought it was $89 a month. It was $89 - $94 weekly.I tried to settled everything but left $10 just to avoid the early termination fees. Guess what! I was told by HMF that I will be charged $ 2.80 daily on $10.00.So I paid everything just to avoid any contact with the prawns.
