A reasonable product from Jayco
Bought this caravan in 2020, and waited 6 months for delivery. We ordered the leather interior and very glad we did.
Jayco have moved away from the quality surface finishes on their benchtops to a more funcftional but ugly-looking rough surface.
A few minor issues taken back at service time for rectification all repaired no questions asked. Customer service is very good.
All in all a reasonable product from the leading manufacturer in Australia. I wasn't impressed nor disappointed in the product. It is at the market price point for the quality you would expect.
Disappointed with my21-65.3 Silverline
Very disappointed with the Silverline only 3 mths old the lippert screen not working then first time we go use it in light rain our bed wet new hatch to be fitted, cupboards not fitting correctly, curtain different lengths, now water leak over kitchen sink now it’s 9 mths old it doesn’t give you confidence in this produce for long term and inconvenient. Jayco needs a much better quality control before leaving factory.

I have recently bought a Jayco Journey from Brisbane Camperland after reading many reviews, some not so good, I decided to take the plunge.
I did expect some problems but also hoped they would be fixed. When it came time for the first service I had 10 minor issues needing to be resolved. As I lived in Ipswich I took it to the local Jayco service centre, of the 10 issues they fixed 8 of them but the two I really needed fixing were not, I should have checked, one looked to be fixed but they only did a temporary fix and came back later, the other
... Read morethey assured me it was fixed, it wasn’t. Soon after the service I was going on a three month trip around South East Qld so I was unable to take it back. The opportunity came I was passing Brisbane Camperland on my travels so I called them with my dilemma. I spoke to the receptionist who told me they were booked up for at least a month and that would not help me in my situation so she put on one of their managers, Trent who did try to help over the phone but it did require some changes to the grey water tap. Trent did suggest I call in with my van on my way past and he would fixit as it would be an easy fix. I did call in on one Friday morning and not only did he fix the tap but also the other problems I had. All up probably 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and never any compliant from Trent who could not do enough to help get me back on the road with my van as it should be. He surely renewed my belief in service. Many thanks once again

I own a 2012 StarCraft which I purchased 18 months ago. It was in very good condition from a dealer. The first issue was a flexing ensuite floor. There is a larger gap between bearers in this floor section so someone had glued a piece of plywood which had come away and was hanging by water pipes and other cabling. I removed it and had to install an additional bearer to get rid of flex. The latest issue is a leaking rear water tank. On removing the tank I found that when van manufactured that screws were protruding through the floor and th

There are screw tips protruding through floor in other areas, I am waiting to see if the front tank starts to leak. not fit for the purpose it was made for
we have just done our first trip with our 2018 Basestation with our Harley Davidson in the rear garage .which we were told it holds a weight of 600kilo,s The bike weighs 400kilos.. we tow with a 200serious Land Cruiser., the van is sitting level BUT we can not go a touch over 100ks as the van gets a sway up. The weight of the motor cycle is behind the rear axle which causes to much weight in rear of van. so the bottom line is Jayco need to rethink their design on their Basestation as it is down right dangerous. we will have to have fitted an ANDERSON. TOW SWAY HITCH to see have that can help. But were not told this important info on purchasing.

Bought 2014 Jayco Dove outback new at Brisbane show.
PROBLEM 1. The little doovers that hold the door to the roof have been replaced at least twice and are now in need of being replaced again. Also the door seems to hang down and does not look secure. It has fallen a few times during normal travel although no damage to the door.
PROBLEM 2 At this stage the van had never been on any dirt roads. I was reversing into a park at Windorah
and the child bride brought to my attention that the spare wheel was loose, and on examination it was only being
I’ve read the scary reviews! I’m hoping I get a good run with mine
I have diverted the windscreen water through my own device . Very worrying that it’s not fixed by the makers.
I will report back . Everything looks ok. I’ve had the reverse camera fixed. The repairer also replaced a fridge 20 amp fuse for the 12 volt fridge.
A fellow traveller has commented that there is always going to be something that needs fixing on any Motorhome. Very true!
We broke the telescopic door stopper, but I found ( online) a pair of ball joints, and it’s fixed.
What is most annoying is the Suburban gas/electric hot water se
Great if u replace entire plumbing
No pressure at sink. Had to hacksaw pipes off underneath and relay new straight STRAIGHT pipes. Also would not drain out.Better now. Handbasin drains into drawer. Apart from plumbing all good. Also after filling tanks, water goes into cupboard because no silicone.

Replacement of defective caravan
Previously I sent in a review of my new Jayco Journey van that ended up with 32 defects in 4 months including 5 repairs that had been carried out prior to delivery, window falling out, and drawers falling apart. After a number of emails to Jayco along with photos of the defects, I was contacted by my local dealer who advised me that the van would be replaced at no expense to me. I have taken up this offer and head off on the initial trip tomorrow (10/9) on a shakedown run. Thank you Jayco.

Yellow shower and now on outside of van. No UV protection
Our van is 3 years old. It's 21 foot and is fibreglass. We have had our shower replaced by Jayco Canberra once after a lot of debate with Jayco. Now the outside our van is turning yellow obviously no UV protection. Very disappointed with that problem but we do love our van but will not be getting a Jayco as our next van.
The upgrade from our tent was great.
Lack of customer after sale services from the dealer and head office. Hat the yellowing of our van.

We don’t want to use our van due to the water leak over the sink the sealing is already bubbling and it’s safe in a shed we just don’t feel comfortable using it in this weather it’s booked in at the end of February and apparently a big job great,
