EGO DRIVEN KNOW NOTHINGS
on purchasing smart rv to was adviced to get the antena anti surge thing.(AS YOU CAN TELL i Know nothing about electics tech.Im a Nurse. I dont need to know). All wenr wrong on set up house antena cable wasnt same as surge antena connection. drove back to shop. I took picture of iteamz.assired this little addaption was going to set me write.WRONG. So im going to JayCar and buy a conection bypass JBHIFI. JUST NOT LISTENING.

Don't shop anywhere else!!! REALLY THE BEST
Top customer service and they stand by their products. They offer their own personal extended warranty on products and they actually HONOUR it!!
I have bought everything for the past six years through Munno Para JB. They will offer the LOWEST price you can get and they will find things for you if they don't have it.
Sometimes they seem young but don't be fooled, whoever hires these kids knows what they are doing. They are smart and polite and extremely willing to help.

Good staff equals good company –My bipolar customer experience on the same day!
I wanted to share my experience with two JB HIFI stores on the same day and something which reminded me that how great companies are built by great and passionate staff and how the staff who represent the organisation gives the brand its reputation.
I had purchased a Sennheiser R120 headphones from JB HIFI store in Carousel; Cannington 6 months back .The unit stopped working and was not powering on at all. he will be happy to offer me a refund however if the I needed an exchange that exact model was not available in the store. He suggested that I can pick up an alternate one and he can account the refund in the billing .I had however picked the headphones during a sale and the closest match was costing at least couple of hundreds more than what I paid for .I informed him that I’m not looking to spend that kind of money and would appreciate an exchange of the same product .The staff was very helpful and looked up the stock details and found that the headphones are available in Armadale Shopping City store and in the City. He said that I could go to any of these stores which are all part of the same chain and guaranteed me that will be taken care of. I drove 25km to Armadale store as per the instructions from the Carousel store and was greeted by two staff from the Armadale store .They weren’t even happy that I was sent by a different store for a product exchange. Contrary to my experience in the previous store the Armadale store staff was hostile, interrogative and lacked any empathy .They at first tried to project it as a customer fault .In the attempt to do that one of the staff provided several justifications (rather deliberate incorrect information) which was quite unacceptable. Incorrect information #1 They mentioned that the Sennheiser R120 headphones can only be used with the AAA rechargeable batteries shipped with the product and warranty is void as I have used AAA rechargeable batteries from Energiser. I asked him what difference does it make for which there was no explanation. He mentioned that there were traces of battery leak which is normally caused by non-rechargeable batteries to which I confirmed that this did not happen and only non-rechargeable batteries recommended by JBHIFI was used. I also mentioned that the Energiser rechargeable battery unit was bought from JB HIFI itself along with it as per the advice from the sales consultant Incorrect information #2 When he realised that I did not buy the story above, he asked me how I used to recharge these batteries .I mentioned that I used the headset for recharging which is recommended as per the user manual .He then mentioned that it’s incorrect and should only be charged using a separate charger. Incorrect information #3 When all the above failed they went to the extent of telling me he checked the records and found that JBHFI Carousel store has sold to me a damaged piece which was returned by another customer !.This was quite shocking to me as I don’t know whether he realised that while avoiding to take any accountability of the issue he is indeed putting his company’s reputation at stake and not of an individual. He also went ahead and blamed the Carousel store and told me that they have done this in the past and they will speak to the store manager.

Watch out for their i minute reviews
I have spent some money with their stores in Indooroopilly and bought an expensive camera - I had to return this as the lens was defective ( communication error between lens and camera ) I guess the fact that the camera was made in Japan and the lens in another, did not help . The telephoto lens is also incompatible with the camera- seems the staff training lacks. n to the wider world and you get harassed from call centres in Asia- it has become so bad that I am considering changing my number . This is hurting my business, as all these calls from Asia clog up the phone line. It seems they have a thriving business just selling personal information to third parties- this is a reward for doing a customer survey which probably had no other objective than abusing the customer/vendor relationship. Excellent customer service
My husband recently had to return a FitBit which he'd had for 11 months due to an issue with the wrist band. We both assumed it would be a long, difficult process given the warranty was so close to ending. We were both really pleased when we went into JB HiFi and had it exchanged with 5 minutes! The staff we dealt with were friendly, helpful, polite and informative. We had no issues and staff knew what they were doing. Would definitely recommend this store for purchasing in the future.

ok place but staff not very knowledgable..???
bought a new tablet pre christmas.. was told and shown specs by staff in store and on product price tag.. it was unavailable in that store so paid for and got referred to another to pick up.. when i drove out to pick it up, the product specs were actually different (less) than i had been told (RAM and storage).. guys in the new store were ok about it but couldn't really do anything unless i wanted a refund.. I actually needed needed it for work so i had to buy, so I ended up with a product that wasnt what i originally agreed to.. works great, but a bit of a shame..

TV not working it was faulty
Bought a TV it was faulty called service told me its faulty so I returned it and changed the TV for another one the same brand and model and it was different when I turned it on.

Wrong/poor staff advise
I purchased this 65" TV so my son and I could play PS4 split screen together. On the advise of the JB HiFi staff this was the TV for us. They were so wrong... the TV was returned within a couple of hours because the screen disappeared and was replaced with another in stock. This TV is not suitable for PS4 as the lag / refresh rate actually affects the game being played as it cannot keep up. Its now become another TV in the house and not used for its original intent of purchase. Can't refund or exchange as there isn't actually anything wrong with it, just not suitable for gaming.
Lesson here, is don't take the word of a salesperson on the suitability of anything without testing yourself in store!

Fantastic Service
I went in to JB HiFi in Belmont Forum W.A. last Saturday and needed help to buy another remote for my TV. I knew nothing about what sort to buy and a very friendly man named Dave helped me. He was so informative and knowledgeable and guided me to buy a remote which works perfectly. Also he said if I wasn't happy with it I could bring it back. I will certainly return to that store if I need anything electrical to purchase because of this super helpful man.

Wont mention the brands but went in to JB HI FI at Noarlunga in S.A to buy advertised laptop, but the one I wanted wasn't in stock so opted to go with one that was actually there that I could take home there and then. Prompt reaction and great service
Bought MacBook and MSOffice software. Software supplied was older version and didn't include the Outlook App. Manager Majid promptly exchanged against the most recent version WITH Outlook included against a small supplement.
