I'm getting on average 638 kms from full tank considering the weight and robust feeling I'm impresse
At first I didn't here many good reports about the jeep brand. But now I'm impressed the seating is very comfortable especially on long drives. I think the materials used are excellent. The road holding is very good on uneven sealed roads I don't go off road but I do think it would be quite capable if I did so

Great car and great customer service
This car is 5 stars for comfort and ease of driving. I’m so happy my Jeep. It’s spacious enough for the family and for our dog who rides in the back. We got our from
Berwick Jeep and would totally recommend this place. I knew this was the car for me

Has some issues
The car is comfortable to drive, however, there were annoying squeaks in the car that should not have been present in a $50k car, I persevered for a very long time before I found a mechanic who knew how to resolve the problem. I also have a non functioning 'stop start', I have taken the car for repair twice being told that the computer takes time (2weeks) to adjust once they 'repaired it' and it would be fine, however, it does not work and I'm sick of trying to get it repaired. The car is still under warranty. The tyres are also now needing rep...Read more
lacement, not sure if quality of tyres on the new car were up to scratch. It is a BIG shame because the car is a nice car. June 5th 2018 Update: Look out Jeep owners Whilst I love driving my Jeep......Ouch, look out Jeep buyers my Jeep has a problem with its transmission and gears It started making a fizzing noise. The car is nearly 3 years, old not even out of warranty, thank goodness! Be forewarned and forearmed!! I think the Jeep is a great car but possibly not the best quality workmanship or mechanics.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Lots of problems
Quality is very bad - my car is now on it's 3rd transmission, the air conditioner is unreliable and doesn't blow the temperature it's set to and the USB ports don't function sometimes. The interior is well laid out and the steering controls good. Note that you can only control the heated seats from the console.
Purchased in June 2021.

I Bought a Lemon
I bought this top of the range Cherokee and it has been nothing but problems. Continual driveline problems where engine / transmission warning light comes on and car goes into limp mode and becomes dangerous and undriveable. Just happened for the 4th time this week and got towed back to dealership. Not happy.... I bought a lemon. This lemon has been back to dealership for around 25-30 days so far for going into limp mode problems.

Excellent!
I love our Jeep! I've heard and read many reviews about Jeeps and how it does not compare to a typical Toyota SUV. However, the 2 are completely different market segments. We bought the Jeep 6 months back and it's been perfect. It's sleek and drives very well. The only negative is that there is a slight delay when changing gears from 1 to 2 but it's quite negligible. I would recommend this beauty to anyone.

The last proper Cherokee
Good, commanding driving position. The 3.7L V6 doesn't like being hurried but produces reassuring torque (if thirstily). The Limited trim level is plush. Heated seats are very effective, the AC is positively arctic and the stereo is excellent. Cargo space is ok, better with passenger seats down - they lie almost flat. Up front, legroom is a little cramped due to a fairly intrusive drivetrain tunnel and no rest pedal for the driver. The ride is truck-like, but that is expected from a body-on-frame 4x4. We like it. Would buy again.

Love my Jeep!
Had my Jeep for a few months now and it's going strong. Previous owner looked after it well and I plan on doing the same. Had a few adventures in it already and we're definitely learning to trust each other :-)
Looks wise - it's a brick! A tough looking 4x4 and though it may not appeal to all, it certainly hits the spot for many. It does look even better coated in a nice thick layer of mud too ;-)
Those complaining about fuel consumption from the 3.7L (and those comparing it to much smaller and lighter cars) - did you expect better? The d...Read more
iesel is definitely the way to go if you can get your hands on one with the tried and true Mercedes t/diesel and 5spd. The 3.7 V6 has been used in a few trucks/4x4s (Dodge Ram, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Dakota, several Jeeps and even a Mitsubishi!) and has proven to be a tough unit - albeit a petrol guzzler. Off road this thing is effortless and the torque down low coupled with the Selec-Trac 4x4 system makes it almost too easy. On road it actually handles better than other 4x4s I've driven, however on wet roads if you have a heavy foot you may want to engage 4x4! Very roomy, and at 6'4" I have no complaints there.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The worst car I've ever bought, expensive to run and repair
Awful to drive no take off up hills, noisy to drive and expensive to run and repair. Back seats very uncomfortable. In summer when it was very hot the back door would not open . The drivers seat had to be close to the under dash to reach the pedals so cramped.

Excellent touring car on and off road.
Very comfortable, handles well in city traffic and tight carparks. The diesel engine is strong and fuel economy is great, with a range of more than 750km on outback roads and up to 920km on sealed rural roads. The 18inch wheels with 55 profile tyres were a worry, but handle corrugated roads surprisingly well. Off road ability is amazing although the addition of Trailhawk wheels would allow better tyre choices for greasy off road work.
Dashboard layout is good, steering wheel controls work well and phone connection was a breeze compared to my...Read more

Amazing
Purchased my 2015 cherokee limited with extra sunroof in 2016. I had previously had a jeep compass 2013 and what an amazing up grade it was. The leather seatings and the controls. Push start keys. V6 engine is so impeccably smooth. Cant fault the car. Extra points for the heated seatings.

Handy vehicle
I purchased a 2003 Jeep Cherokee Sport and loved it! Manual transmission was easy to drive. Great visibility with no blind spots. Could park it anywhere and was nice to drive on road. When it got real, it could climb the steepest and roughest hills off road with no dramas. Towed without a struggle and felt safe. Whilst it had a few issues mechanically, I did drive it 140 klm's every day and it rarely let me down. Even my mechanic said "She just keeps on going doesn't she!". I would definitely have another one.

20 breakdowns, 4 tows and still faulty
In the 6 years we owned it, it spent over 6 months at the mechanics. Never did solve all the issues, and we are talking about major failures brakes, ABS, Cooling system, and more. Mechanics replaced so many parts and after 3 years the brakes failing to release randomly did get resolved. Sudden full engine management failure causing limp-home-mode was never resolved.
Purchased in June 2021 for A$54,500.00.

I think my jeep Cherokee 2012 consumes a lot of petrol on open road at 500km only ? From a 69 full t
I feel it up with 66- 69L of petrol, then I make 522km only on open road . not happy with that only, All the features are my dream. Comfortable, well holding on the road, an interior to die for nice radio fitted with built in GPS .

THIS IS A GREAT VEHICLE
I was amazed at the comfort of this vehicle on long trips; it was like sitting in a lounge chair as you travelled the open road. It was everything I was looking for in a vehicle including comfort, economy & safety as you travel the roads. I would recommend this vehicle to my friends for all its features & pricing in comparison to other similar vehicles.

Great car but needs some tweaking
I bought my Jeep in September 2014. It is the Limited Edition fully loaded with all the goodies. I had a Ford Territory before that which I loved. The new design of the Jeep Cherokee is what really caught my eye and once I sat in one and drove it I was sold! I am super happy with the car except it is quite thirsty (but now comes in Diesel). My Territory was quite thirsty and I was told I would get all this great mileage etc. from the Jeep sales guy. This wasn't the case. Also the twice yearly servicing is disappointing and a rort in my opinion....Read more
You get 6 years extended warranty but you have to still have it serviced twice a year for 3 extra years which is just another ploy to get your money. I used to have my Territory service once a year at Ford for around $230. So twice a year at $300-$400 a go is just ridiculous. I've driven 26,000km in 2.5 years so the hefty servicing is just not justifiable. Anyhow that's JEEP but I believe they are now offering better deals on servicing of new cars. About time they got with the programme. To late for me though. I've also had 3 recall notices on it which is a pain having to take it in to get work done and my boot kept refusing to open which Jeep looked and said they fixed but the next day it go stuck again. I can live with that. It only happens occasionally and usually when its pouring rain and I have hands full with groceries! Lol. Some slight adjustment of the air vents for the driver would be better as I find the steering wheel blocks the air onto your face and when its 40 degrees in summer you need AIR! I also find the aircon not that powerful or cold. But whatever. Now I'm just nit picking. Its a fab car and very nifty. The power drops on occasion when I put my foot down and there is nothing there - a bit scary when you are trying to zoom across oncoming traffic, but I am taking it into Jeep for another service soon so will see if they can run an update to fix that. All in all an awesome car and lots of fun to drive. The stereo system is awesome and the main navigation screen is big, bright and easy to use. The map function is not great. It always sends me on convoluted routes and I have no idea how to update the maps as the current version is old and often can't locate new building developments. The system is also geared to Android software (Samsung) and not Apple. I've used both phones in this car and Samsung is a much better experience. It will read your texts out loud and keep a log in the car of your texts so you can go back and read them. It won't do that with Apple. I have the charging plate as well and it won't work on Apple devices which is slightly annoying! Anyhow all in all a fun and zippy car with lots to keep you interested. I would highly recommend buying one. You wont regret it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

My first Jeep after a life long wait!
Have nothing to complain for its performance and design. I love everything about this car as for it was my first Jeep and my dream car. One small issue would be improvement of boot space but we can put up with it for now. Another big issue would be "service". I had my first service a few weeks after I picked up my car from dealership and everything went horribly wrong. My car had a big deep scratch under the armrest on the driver side as well as oily mark on the interior of the door. Shortly after I then discovered that my parking sensor ...Read more
was not there anymore. Calling dealership to have these sorted out has been a nightmare!! Now is 18/03/2017 and I have just been scheduled to go in for parking sensor fixing. My door trimming part that was ordered ages ago still on its way from USA. I had to physically visited the dealership to have all these finalised. Big room for improvement on this part Jeep!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
