I have been with Kogan for over a year now, last night I paid for a recharge as my plan was to expire. Since that time, as soon as Kogan had my payment I have been unable to make a call or send a text. Extremely unfortunate as I have elderly parents whom I need to check on daily.
After an hour and a half on hold, I received the following advice; "turn off and on, take out the sim, that's all I can do for you as everything seems okay at this end." In other words, we have your money so we don't really care, that is just rude...customer service, what's that?
Meanwhile, I am out of pocket. Somebody please reassure me that you do care about your customers!

I am trying to activate a service which I have paid for and spent many hours on the phone and get disconnected after holding for over an hour each time.
If you cannot connect my service please give me back my money to take my business elsewhere,
This is fraud.
Stop telling people to call your phone line if you have nobody to answer.

Get your money back, I have experienced 2-weeks wait for nothing. Their customer service is good and responsive, but they cant do anything regarding mobile support outsourced overseas.

I am having the same problem. A week ago I waited on the line to get answered for hours but no one responded. I called today and the service seems to be closed now. They don't have live chat service, it is just frustrating now.

I bought a voucher with you and it expires today, but I'm having trouble transferring my number from another operator. I've been on the phone for 2 hours and no one is watching me. I need you to extend my voucher deadline for me to resolve this issue.

I had no response from Kogan Mobile. I will try to call again in the weekend.

I reckon there s no point calling that number, I also requested to extend my deadline but waited for 2 weeks without response. It wont happen anytime soon given global lockdown situation so i just asked for my money back anw.
1- https://www.kogan.com/account/dashboard/orders/
2- View (same line of product)
3-Contact Kogan.com (button)
4-After Your Product Arrives (Warranty & Product Support) (button)
5- Choose any option to Show the SUBMIT A QUESTION (button)
Until everything s back to normal, its better to stick to other popular carrier I guess.

You'll need to contact customer support for help on that one. There isn't a way to edit it on your end. Customer Service will be able to help you with that.

In not from Kogan, you need to call customer service. Or just dont worry about that

I bought the pre-paid card on holiday to Australia in December. Pre-paid cards are not supposed to reload but it has charged me even after I left the country. After a lengthy process of not being able to find anyone to speak with or email, I finally managed to uncheck the auto reload. I think the auto reload setting is ridiculous. Pre-paid is pre-paid. You send me an email to tell me if I do not reload it will be deactivated and then you reload it for me. The email should have said it will auto reload please consent for it. It is misleading and dishonest. Please refund the two months charged to my card without my consent. The phone number is [phone number removed]. Any help? Thanks.

I have been using Kogan for a number of years with both IPhone/Android without an issue. I recently purchased an unlocked IPhone but my Kogan SIM won’t work in the phone. I have tried both an Optus and Telstra SIM in the phone and it works fine. I have also tried another Kogan SIM and the phone still doesn’t work. Anyone else had this issue?

I don't think you can until your current plan finishes. Kogan uses Vodaphone network but is a different provider.
Make sure that your plan doesn't automatically roll over to a new contract.

I bought a kogan mobile prepaid SIM with voucher this deal was meant for only new customers only. when entered the voucher code kept saying invalid so I rang customer care and spoke to a guy who now says that this plan I bought is only for new customers who want to port their existing no. frm a different carrier ......this was not mentioned on the description or overview when i bought it also demoesnt make sense because it even gives you a choice if either using the new ph no. that comes with the sim or port existing (active) no. frm a diff carrier.
I want to know if you or anyone might know if this is really the case or am I being lied to???

Based on my own experience, Kogan's customer care team is not very helpful. Most of its staff I spoke to had very limited knowledge on their own system.
Your best bet will be asking for a callback from their supervisor.

I noticed that the latest plan pricing has improved since the last year. With automatic recharge on, it will just charge my credit card the previous years contract price? Or will it apply the latest and better price? Because the current price is about $40 cheaper! One of the terms of these new plans is “existing customer? = no”. If this is the case and you don’t allow an existing customer to take advantage of the new pricing this is a deal breaker as every other telco allows you to go to better deals. Also, this would be deceitful as you are preying on the “lazy tax.” IE when you keep charging an expensive plan price when there is a better price for the same product available.

What I do is I disabled the auto charge and on the due date select the plan you want to buy I'm on the $36.99 unlimited with 20gb of data. I never have on enable for auto recharge

Hi. I have just bought a one month month prepaid plan with Kogan. A Kogan SIM card is on its way in the post, but I also have an unactivated vodafone sim. Can I use the Vodafone sim, or wait for th Kogan one ?

You cannot use a Vodafone sim. Best bet is to get one from a United pump or 7 Eleven store if you cannot wait for $2. https://www.koganmobile.com.au/where-to-buy-kogan-mobile-sim-card/
