I do love laurastar iron lift. It does save my ironing time alot and super fast smooth feeling just in one slide. Just 4 things need to improve are the steam still hot, longer cord is needed, the water cartridge run out to quick, still need filter? My old tefal steam iron doesn't need filter.

I have looked at Laura star for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. This is definitely a new way of ironing and once you get your head around the steam and iron process ironing becomes a new pleasure. I would definitely recommend purchasing one. It may be expensive but we have gone through a number of irons and envision not having to buy one again.

Absolutely loving my new Laura star!!! Even my boyfriend who was so negative about it before getting it, is now ironing his shirt every morning! Love love love it. Can never be without one every again!! Heats up so much quicker than mum mums version, and so easy having the lift version so it can sit nicely under the iron board out of the way!!!

It's great on all fabric it's easy to use and I get the ironing done faster which makes me very happy so I can enjoy my weekend .
It makes ironing a pleasure as I know all my clothes look like they've been taken to the dry cleaners .
It saves me money as I'm able to iron most of my clothes instead of going to the dry cleaners

I use this product for my bridal business, and also use it for all of my domestic ironing as well.

With the teflon plate cover, I can rest assured that I can steam any bridal gown without worry. I have not had a problem with any fabrics so far.

The hardest item to steam is tulle veils, sometimes even after extensive steaming the creases are still visible unfortunately. But I think it is down to whatever finish is on the tulle, and not down to the effort of the Laura star.

I am so happy with Laurastar Lift, it certainly has changed my life, Ironing is fast, getting in done in the quarter of the time. My clothes looks fresh and professional dry cleaned. The steam is great on all my clothes. I will never go back to the ordinary iron, no way. The steam does all fabrics.

The 505 guides beautifully over all fabrics and has cut my ironing time in half. The steam function make ironing business shirts much easier. I haven’t burnt anything since I brought my Laura Star. Even heavy fabrics are smoothed instantly with a good shot of steam. it is light weight and simple to use

I have had Laura star irons for the past 15 years. 2 years ago I got the lift, just because I wanted something more compact.
I’ve now bought my daughter one. I had police and airline uniforms to iron and previously had 2 shoulder surgeries, probably from ironing with normal iron.
Laura star is wonderful and now I’m only ironing pants and tops mostly.
It’s gently, it’s powerful, I love it. It’s almost a pleasure to do the ironing!
Back up sales service is great too.

This is my 3rd Laurastar and I love the convenience of being able to carry this one with little effort. It makes the task of ironing much easier with a far better result. However there is a problem with the amount of water that comes out with the steam. I can't seem to find a setting that prevents this happening and would appreciate if you could tell me how to solve the problem.

I have an AirBnB - actually more than one, and I can trust my expensive linens to my Lift. Nothing else is as perfectly reliable and trustworthy. I can go from fabric to fabric, task to task and bedroom to bedroom without a second thought. Even the curtains can be detailed. Love it.

The lift is another great Laurastar product, especially when combined with a Laurastar Ironing board which has a great shelf for the "Lift". It has heaps of steam (surprising for such a compact product) and irons anything we ask of it with ease. Plus the convenient portability of the lift makes it easy to steam curtains, suits on a hanger etc. We have no hesitation in recommending the "Lift" to anyone who wants to improve how quickly they can iron and how fabulously their clothes are ironed.

This iron is even better than the last one I had (which I was able to trade in - something that I was very happy about). It It’s great on all types of fabric. I love that the steam setting can be adjusted. It does not make my black clothes shiny.

I've loved Laurastar as well as their customer service for a long time. Makes ironing clothes a pleasure and a breeze. This is my second. I learned of them while working at a tv station, as we had one there for maintaining celebrities' outfits.

The only thing I would complain about would be the maintenance instructions of the unit, that I was given. It makes it sound like I should be slave to it, rather than the unit serving me as a time saving / effort saving device. The emptying of the tank is a slightly clunky kind of process, too. But these are very small criticisms in light of how much I love it and couldn't be without it.

This is my second Laurastar and I have loved them both. The Lift makes ironing so easy. Being able to refill water makes it easier than my old machine. I hate having to use a normal iron when I am away. I have recommended it to many of my friends. Thanks Laurastar

It is quite good with everyday clothes. I can’t seem to get chinos pants don’t very smooth but that could be user error but I can do working pants fine. Really good on shirts and bedsheets. Would be better if not so bulky as finding room to fit it quite hard.

Extremely happy with my Laura Star easy ironing every time, cannot fault it and great after sales service. Take it with when we go locally on holidays. Can’t do without it. My mum and friend has Laura Star and they speak highly as well. Thank you Laura Star love this ironing system!

Very pleased with my steam station, works very well with cottons & synthetics; excellent with lacey items & silks.......have passed my old steam station onto my daughter in law, I needed a lighter model and she was MORE than happy to have it: i have no hesitation recommemding Laura Star to Anyone

- this iron is gentle and perfect. we use it on different fabrics, it never let us down.
- pros- fully satisfied with functionality, cons- it require maintenance and to bring back for service and repairs

I highly recommend this iron.Different to a standard iron is the noise. Laurastar has a pump of some kind to push the steam into the baseplate and when it kicks in it's noisy. And to keep that steam coming the hose has to be held up high, which means an arm you attach to the board, which cramps my ironing style.
