Saved me over summer
I have three of these units. A 7kw, 5kw and a 2.5kw for my house. They are quiet and attractive units and on the hot 40+degree days it kept my house cool and comfortable. The summer before the upstairs of my house was almost uninhabitable. This made it cool and easy to sleep. Thank you mitsubishi

Great air conditioner
This air conditioner cools a 60sq metre room.
Very quiet model.
Fantastic price at Retravison including cash back couldn’t ask
for much more.
The outdoor unit is quite large which may be an issue depending on space requirements.
Would highly recommend Mitsubishi air conditioners as they are so reliable and well made

Awesome split system
This split system was installed in our living/dinning room which is around 50-55 Sqm.
It cools this area very efficiently and quiet.
The outdoor unit also runs quite.
This unit is used mostly during hot humid days, and it dose the job easily.
Just make sure you get yourself a great installer.
Posatives, everything.
Negative, it’s more expensive then most units, but you get what you pay for.

Amazing cooling power
This thing got me through the Aussie Summer and *then* some.
Was easily turning my living/dining area into an icebox to the point where I had to actually turn this up a few degrees from the chill, and it made the rest of my modest home much more tolerable also.
Quiet and has a plethora of configuration options + auto schedule timers etc. to play around with.
Not a cheap model but you certainly get what you pay for with this thing.

Great airconditioning
This air-con is really efficient, it cools the house down really quickly. I always put it on 25 and eco mode and it works wonderfully. There are lots of settings so you can direct the air to where you need it. We had it on every day during the summer and our power bill was still under for the usage standard for how many people lived there.

The best split system air-con I have encountered so far
The best split system air-con I have encountered so far.
Recently purchased and installed a unit in our living area, and cools the room very quickly with very little noise.
The 3D-auto function works magic, especially on larger rooms/ areas of the house.
Pricier than most brands in the market, however its quality made up for it.

Cool!
We recently had air conditioner installed in November 2017 and are really happy. We had smaller units put in upstairs bedrooms and cools quickly and is quiet. We had the bigger unit placed downstairs in the lounge room and actually gets abit cold! It is fairly quiet but I find sometimes when I press the remote nothing happens so keep pressing the button until I hear the ‘beep’

Love it
Love the quietness of this unit. It's quiet inside and the unit outside is as well. Installation process didn't take long at all. It's easy use and the timer and day settings are great especially if we are going to be out, can set it to come on before we are due home. There's a variety of different settings to put it on. Doesn't take long to cool the rooms down.

Warms or cools my unit in no time. And as a person with a disability, I rely on Air Con. This Aircon is reliable and the best I have ever had. The remote is easy to work. I would buy this brand next time.

Impressive
After initially having a problem with the motor being noisy Mitsubishi replaced this as it was found to be from a faulty batch and I have had no problems since. Unit is good for heating and excellent with cooling a large area which also opens up into other rooms. Control Unit easy to use.

Brilliant Split System
My brother has recently retired - he was a TAFE trained Refrigeration & Installer of Air Conditioners.
He recommended the Mitsubishi Electric because they are reliable &'economical to run.

I got written Quotes except the Mitsubishi preferred Installer told me to get all the Quotes & he will try & better the Quotes (I couldn't be bothered playing games I j...Read more

Brilliant!! Absolutely great!
My local AC company recommended Mitsubishi Electric over Daikin, Panasonic and Fujitsu. To their credit they never rubbished any of the other brands they just stated why they like Mitsubishi. All the reasons why are true! Quiet, efficient and so far reliable. Very happy and glad I went with Mitsubishi Electric!

"Easiest to install" said my installer, and "easy and cheap to use" says I
We have a ducted system to heat and cool our home but it costs 6kwh = $1.50 an hour to use.
We installed this system to heat and cool the TV/Kitchen area and it costs 2kwh for the first hour and then $1kwh after that. 50c and 25c.
It is quiet, not intrusive and efficient. With electricity prices continuing to increase hoping early payback.

Best Air Conditioner I've had.
I purchased the unit last Winter and had it installed in late Spring. One problem was that where we wanted the indoor unit there was nowhere to put the outdoor unit so it had to go on the other side of the house. This did increase the installation cost a bit with 30 metres of copper pipe and insulation plus 4mm power cable due to voltage loss if we'd used 2.5mm cable. It uses the latest "greener" more efficient R32 refrigerant as well as smaller diameter piping for greater efficiency. Even with the distance from the indoor to outdoor units ther...Read more
e was no requirement for extra refrigerant. The outdoor unit also has blue fin coating which is corrosion resistant & as we live right on the coast and get a lot of salt air this is a great feature. The indoor unit is very quiet as is the outdoor unit. I have only tested the heating mode to make sure it works but the cooling mode works very well. We had one day when the outside temperature was 43 degrees and I have the unit set to 24 degrees which it maintained easily. Some air conditioners have complicated remotes with a whole raft of features most people will never use. The remote is simple & easy to use & you don't have to point it directly at the unit. The useful features from my perspective are the wide and long air throw functions and the iSave function which I keep as the standard setting & if I decide to change any setting I just have to press this button & it returns to standard. I don't use the timers or a special vane settings but do use econo-cool to save energy once the whole living area has reached the desired temperature. You can also get a card installed and it can be controlled over WiFi from a phone & can be turned on remotely so the house is cool when you get home. Even though there are over 15 metres of insulated piping it is cooling within 1 minute of turning it on. I selected this unit on the basis of previous experience with Mitsubishi Electric air conditioners, discussions with people & installers, checking reviews and price. I narrowed my choice to similar sized Panasonic, Daikin, Kelvinator & LG models & in the end got a great deal from a large retailer after quoting the cheapest deal I could get on line. It has a 5 year warranty but so do most other reputable brands with some offering an additional 2 years but given my bedroom Mitsubishi is now 12 years old and has never missed a beat I don't think I am likely to need it. We have solar panels on the roof & as the unit is is an inverter the power consumption drops right away once the house is cooled down. It is in fact best to turn it on early in the day as it is more efficient to maintain the temperature than to cool it down when it is hot. My power bill for the 3 months over Summer increased only $60.00 or about 67 cents per day and the unit was on most days and sometimes all night. The bedroom unit and the fridge and upright freezer etc also are included in the additional cost which makes the energy cost of the new air conditioner minimal. Overall 5 stars and highly recommended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Working well as expected
I purchased this Mitsubishi Electric air conditioner for the lounge area back in October 2016 from Stan Cash online store. The Mitsubishi electric is quiet but powerful and reliable. It has done well in the summer heat here in Queensland. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an air conditioner.

Very cool ac
The electrician switched the air conditioner on after installation and its working perfectly since. I come home from work to a hot shut up house and in a short time I'm sitting watching TV in a cool lounge room. We bought the Mitsubishi for its reputation, reliability and value. You can't go wrong.

Best Air Conditioner ever.
Fitted a few days before a very hot Victorian Christmas day (2016).
Easy installation done by a local with lots of experience.
Very Very quiet inside and outside. (On low fan aircon need to check it's even on, it's so quiet)
Very quickly cooling down a 35 degree large lounge/kitchen area (64+ square metres - 10 minutes)
Very easy to use, just read the manual first.
Added optional WiFi controller, but not set up as yet.
Not tried heating yet still about 30 degrees at the moment 28/12/2016.
I was told this unit is the best you can buy - HE WAS RIGHT!

just had my 7.1kw fitted and it is running fine but when I went outside to check the outdoor unit the fan wasn't working is this normal as it wasn't a very warm day when it was installed and I tested it...?

I wouldn’t be worried if the unit is at the required temperature inside the house you will find it will probably stop spinning outside as it only runs when expelling the warm/cold air from the inside of the house, it will run when required which is part of the energy saving.
When first started the outside unit will not run for 10 minutes or so. That is normal. It may also stop if inside the house is at the correct temperature and this will save power. If the inside unit works properly nothing is wrong. The outside unit can be very quiet so you need to carefully check if the fan is turning.
One way to test it is to turn the inside temperature to its lowest setting and turn the fan to the highest speed. Outside unit should start running after about 10 minutes.

We bought Mitsubishi aircon MSZ-GL25VGD 2 years ago, 5 year warranty as well, was working fine till this month, wouldn’t cool at all just blowing .Also called Mitsubishi costumers service couple times and finally got call from technician,he assuming."?is gas leaking by him that is not under warranty,he said will cost us $500 repairs,$80/hr. It left us speecless.
However,we read warranty doesn’t said anything regarding gas leakage.
Would be very grateful if you answer my question and give me correct info.

Hi, find the paperwork concerning the installation, if found see if installation warranty is more than two years if so ring company to redo flares
( most probably where leak is ) if out of installation warranty period, you may be still able to talk to manager and plead your case of faulty workmanship and not bag his company on social media . Regas and repair of flares by a honest Friggie on a 2.5kw should only be around $350 at most for a back to back installation . Good luck .
