Morphy Richards Accents Rose Gold Traditional 102107 (Black)

It looks great at first then the buzzer went off after 2months and then the gluing parts wearing off and the kettle turns ugly after 2 years. See my attached photo!

Kettle is dangerous, it leaks water at the base to scared to use it, looks great but has a very loud noise when boiling very dissatisfied, will be returning it

Had no issues at first. Noticed that if you stood too close near the end of the boil it would spit boiling water on me. After around a year and a half the kettle started leaking bad from the base.

Bought kettle less than 12 months ago.
Water leaks on to on/off switch. So have had to stop using it.
Most expensive kettle I’ve ever bought. What a waste of money.
Can’t find the recipe.

I purchased this kettle with a matching toaster 7 months ago, after 3 months I noticed all the paint has been chipped off the kettle, and today after 7 months I realized the bottom of the kettle at the gauge is leaking water like a dripping tap. I always spend decent money on my kettles and toaster because the last one I had lasted 5 years and then I sold it for $80 as a set because it was still in amazing working order. I purchased this new one because I liked the look of it in my new kitchen. I was lucky I purchased an extended warranty at Harvey norman and said to the lady if the new replacement kettle does the same thing I will be replacing the whole set with a new brand and never purchasing Morphy Richards products again.

We loved the look of this kettle and also had a the matching toaster but unfortunately after 2 years it has started to leak water from the on/off button. My mum has also had the same issue and has managed to replace hers however ours being just over 2 years old is out of warranty. We are so disappointed. You can see in the picture we have it sitting on a plate as water ends up all over our bench.

All my visitors notice it in my kitchen as soon as they come in! I love the sound when the water is boiled. The only negative aspect is that the outside gets hot... sometimes by accident I burn myself haha but it’s not a big deal

Bought the set kettle and toaster black and rose gold, the toaster has never heated properly and the kettle leaks like a sieve disappointed. Love the look but now having to replace both

Loved the look but when you boil it and pour a drink it bubbles up through spout when only half full making a big mess I wouldn’t buy this brand again

Quiet to operate and looks fantastic on the bench top too. It doesn’t take long at all to boil and doesn’t have an irritating noise when it’s ready.

Very happy that I upgraded to this kettle.

I love this kettle. It looks so beautiful on my kitchen bench with the matching toaster. It is so easy to see how much water is left, the water taste so clean, heats up so quickly and being a mum i love that it whistles when its finished boiling, as somethings I forget what I was doing (eg. making a tea or coffee).

The styling is just perfect, with the right amount of rose gold trim to create an accent. It heats quickly, the water window is accurate and easy to see. The cord can be tucked into the base so you don't have too much hanging on the bench. I just love it

I had a faulty kettle, contacted warehouse and was advise would send me a a replacement. I provided photos, serial number etc. I received the ‘replacement’ and it was sent the “aspect’ kettle and the box was ‘retapped’. When I notified The contact centre I was told they ‘could not garentee what kettle I received’ which was not the case and I had been asked two preference colours as they could not guarantee the colour.

This kettle is so pretty with a beautiful Rose Gold touch. Purchased in Matte Black which compliments the accent (and my kitchen) beautifully. The kettle has a whistle when water has finished boiling which you can turn off if you wish. There is a measure on the side which tells you how much water is left in there which some ‘pretty’ electric kettles don’t have these days surprisingly!
The handle over the top is a nice touch and I was worried that maybe the steam from the spout would touch your hand as your pour however no such thing happened. Love it.

This kettle is just gorgeous to look at! The black really makes the rose gold pop. It used to make an annoying whistle when it had finished but has stopped that thank god! I’m not sure how it just stopped making the noise, so if you’re buying it for that I’d consider it to stop working fairly quickly.
