Excellent service!
Couldn't be happier with the service! My samsung fridge needed repair and my call was answered promptly, professionally and the follow up call after my job was logged was excellent and informative. I was aware of the costs and rough estimate of parts up front and the parts were brought to the job to minimise any need for a further call out. The actual repair service was very professional and the work was undertaken quickly but thoroughly to minimise any extra time logged on the job (there was no extra time charged). They really don't deserve such poor reviews.

Avoid NCE at all costs
Samsung contractor. Zero contact after multiple call backs. Manager refuses to acknowledge any failings on their behalf. In-line with all the other terrible reviews. I honestly can not believe the 5 star ratings are legit. AVOID NCE AT ALL COSTS. I wish you could give 0 stars to be honest.

Excellent Communication and superb service
It is regarding repair Samsung smart TV. Part arrived well in time. Service engineer was really polite with thorough knowledge. It did not take more than 30 minutes to fix the problem. He infact was very helpful to advise regarding connecting different items including a complicated Denon amplifier.
I am really please with the Service.

LG or Product Care must be desperate
Product care had NCE send a 'technician' attend to investigate the 'fault' with our 3 y/o dishwasher, the ' technician' spent three minutes on site took photo's then left. Not a very extensive investigation I would have thought? When eventually I received a call from them he alluded to an installation issue that would make our claim void and that we would now have to pay $165.00 for his report.
I wasn't going to have that and called Product Care who agreed to absorb the cost of the service given the above scenario. I pointed out to her (and t...Read more

Terrible customer service, not worthy of one star
I was referred to this service by LG and have dealt with them twice in the past. After a few days, we received a phone call from [name removed], the Manager of Newcastle Custom Electronics, in regards to our 2 in 1 combo washing machine / dryer, which was having some issues and was under warranty, [name removed] told me that I had to pay $165 before he would even come out to look at the machine. He went into this, saying that we would not have to pay this if it was a manufacturing fault (which LG had said that it was), but [name removed] said t...Read more
hat it was “my fault” as the clothes going into the machine were not clean, which is kind of hilarious considering the point of a washing machine is to clean your clothes. I then contacted LG again as I did not want to pay that amount for my washing machine to be looked at. Please note, we also knew what the issue was with our machine prior to contacting LG / Newcastle Custom Electronics – we have had the issue before and it is something we cannot access without voiding the warranty and LG have stated that it is a manufacturer fault. LG said that the correct process for the service company was for someone to come out and look at the machine and for them to diagnose the issue before even issuing any kind of charges. LG also stated that they wanted a service report from this company. With this, we contacted Newcastle Electronics again and spoke to the manager, [name removed], again. I told him what LG had requested he went on to say that “LG don’t know what they’re talking about, it is just some stupid person from their call centre trying to tell you what you want to hear to make you happy.” Pretty disgusting attitude right there. I went on to tell him that LG had requested a service report and are expecting a copy. He went on to say that LG is not entitled to ask for a service report and that “it is between me and you.” I told him that LG is entitled to a service report, because the machine is still under warranty and they are paying for the service / repair. [name removed] went on to tell me that I did not know what I was talking about. He told me that he wanted $165 up front before he even came out to look at the machine. I told [name removed] that I will be contacting LG again to tell them not to use your service centre again. In a previous phone call with LG, they had stated that our issue was definitely a manufacturing fault, the fault being an internal filter which the customer cannot access at all and makes the machine useless without regular cleaning (again, we cannot access this AT ALL). We explained this to him and he didn’t want a bar of it and was adamant that it was our fault and was going to charge us. With this, we contacted LG again to tell them of our experience and recommended that they change the go to service repair centre to another business, which they agreed with. They provided us with another service centre to help us with our issue. I am glad to no longer have anything to do with Newcastle Custom Electronics – I would not recommend them AT ALL.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Costumer service
Worst customer service ever! After being a Purchasing Manager and in Purchasing for 28 years I can only describe them as crap! Not sure how they can be a Pronto - Euromade Service Centre in Newcastle! As a property owner they would not entertain the thought of giving notice of when they would arrive to do a job, they would only give a 4 hour window of time. After negotiating they would only give 2 hours but would not allow notice to our realtor but would only deal with the tenants even though we owned the property and the product. ried to request a phone call 30 minutes prior to a rival which they refused. My wife and I organised the original time but they cancelled because they said the realtor would not be there. We had notified the renaltor that we booked the time so we would be there. Newcastle Customer Services did not turn up! That tells you that they are not customer service orientated and should not be in business in this day and age! Hope you go broke, you deserve to! Social media will stop ignorant people Like this Company from being in business with attitudes like this!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Newcastle Custom Electronics - Don"T Ever Use Them
No, not at all happy. I was dubious as soon as I walked in. Even though this was the place the Phillips (for Saeco) preferred repairer, their office looked dirty, unorganized, and very unprofessional. When I came in, the receptionist did not even recognize me admittedly, as he was on the phone. Despite standing within a meter of him for more than 10 minutes, he still didn't pause for even 3 secs to say "I'll be with you in just a moment". The first thing this person asked me for was my credit card - they wanted $99 before they even spoke to me....Read more
When I had finally booked my coffee machine in for repair, she had no idea how long it would take, who would be in contact with me, or an approximate cost. She just said, "wait for a call". That was 15th August - it's now 4th Oct, and I still have no idea when or if my machine will ever be fixed. And if they come back to me now and say that it is repaired, how much it will cost and was it ever worth it. My advice is, do not ever in you wildest dreams, ever, ever take your equipment into Newcastle Custom Electronics for repair. They are disorganized, under-resourced, un-professional, and have no idea about customer service. They never call you, never meet deadlines and fabricate stories about the repair. The worst thing is, Phillips appointed this group as their preferred repairer - maybe the cheapest quote, but I don't know. When I high-lighted their inadequacy to their Customer Care Division, they were very polite and supportive, but totally useless in getting Newcastle Custom Electronics to do anything different to what they weren't doing already. For those of you that have your items in repair with Newcastle Custom Electronics now, good luck. However, if you have had a similar experience to me, say something so they either lift their game or get shut down. Really, please - don't sit back, do something about it.Similar opinion? Google reviews of this firm before using
This firm is used by Samsung as their Service Centre if you are in Newcastle and contact their Product Support on 1300 362 603. After waiting for 11 days (when I was promised that I would be contacted within 48 hours) I still haven't received any contact. After 3 calls Samsung advised me that this was the firm I was supposed to be contacted by. I then Googled their name and found a litany of complaints (including referral to Department of Fair Trading). Searching their name in Product Review also reveals further complaints with respect to o...Read more

To quote just one recent review: "Sound's like that even after ten year's thing have not changed with this unprofessional bunch of knuckle heads . It makes me sad to think this shop is still treating Newcastle people as bad as they treated me all those years ago."1 comment

bly know what part is needed without looking at the TV? I told them that as I wanted the TV fixed ASAP I have taken it somewhere else to be repaired and will report to Samsung what has happened. I really didn't want these "knuckleheads" anywhere near my TV.
