Noirot Spot Plus Questions & Answers (page 3 of 8)
I have had my Noirot Spot Plus for 2 days. After an hour or so of running it will stop heating and E E will show up on the screen. This happens every time.
Hi - I have two Noirot panel heaters - the 3T (100W) and the 8T (2400W). They are around 8-10 years old and have the old style displays. Both units are powering up and the red operation light comes on in Manual On mode. But there is no heat from either heater. The manuals have been misplaced in a house move and I cannot work out how to reset the heaters and get them operational. Can you please advise on what I need to do?
I did. No joy there - only some instructions for the later models with the new style displays.
Can you uninstall the casters from a Noiret Spot panel heater so you can mount it on the wall.
Yes, the attached easily. So i imagine they come off just as easy. The Castors make it easier to move from room to room.
Can you uninstall the casters from a Noiret Spot panel heater if you decide to mount it on a wall?
If the castors are already attached then you cant remove them without breaking them. However if you havent put castors on then you have no problem. They arent attached when you buy it.
Mine just slip on and then a small black bracket holds them in place. I think the castors can be easily removed.
Mike A. -- Just inherited this heater in new rented premises. Plugged in to power outlet (which is working ok) but 'Power' indicator light does not illuminate. Without that, nothing else can be done to activate the heater. Display panel is working and able to set time of day, etc, as well as different programs. However, without the power indicator light being on, the heater controls simply do not work. Have I done something wrong, or is the heater (control unit) busted? Hope you can help. Thanks, Mike A.
Hi all of a sudden the increase temp button won't work, what can I do?
My five year old heater will not turn on--display is dark. I've tried holding power button down for 20 seconds, but nothing happens. The last time it did turn on, the display lit up but with no text--I turned it off and subsequently it would not turn on.
Have done~took some time and visits from two separate people as there were two issues. All credit to Noirot who sent people out to my home at no cost to me as my heater had been wired in.
Hi Jane, was the issue something that is easily fixed once they worked out what was wrong? I am having a similar issue. After bringing the unit out after summer, if I now go to start it up the display...
Read more won't power on, or if it does it's just the orange light and no text. This means you can't tell what setting it's on or if indeed if it is on (until you can feel heat if it's in the right mode). However after leaving it running for an hour or two the text does eventually come on. This happens everytime i power off/on the unit. It's almost like there is some internal display battery that is depleted but then charges after the unit comes on, but then drains again as soon as it is off. I'm not sure if there is something I can do to fix the issue or if I need to get it fixed at the factory. What temperature setting warms up the whole room? This is my first time using it and 20.5 is not warming up the room.....Just tried it on 23 and it is working a charm.
I have a area in a small computer room 4meter and set it comfortable at 16 which takes the chill away
Why is the plug getting hot. Plugged directly into the wall. I changed wall outlets to do a test. The cord gets hot on both wall OutLets. Is this normal
How long is the extension cord on model 7358-5
Why can't i use an extension cord if needed
Hi Robin. I am not Retailer. Reason for not using a power board/extension lead is they can over heat so they say. But how many products do we plug into a to a power board or extension lead. cord may be 2-3 meters max i am guessing
The cord on my heater is only 180cm...far too short. I bought a new extension cord and am using it with no problems although I don’t know if this effects the warranty. I think the manufactures need to look into this problem .
Hi, I accidentally placed the castors in the wrong position on the base of the heater - about 8 cm from base edge, not the recommended 5 cm. Is this a problem? Do I need to remove and replace them?
I have had my heaters for a few years and in the last 2 weeks they just stopped heating. How long are they supposed to last for??
I’ve had my heater stored away for summer, after bringing it out today and plug in, the display lights up but blank and no heat nothing but a blank screen
