Content of my most recent email to Oak Road...
Dear A****LES - Your UNSUBSCRIBE link doesn’t work in the email I receive weekly!
I’m done. I’ve requested several times that I NOT be called, I’ve clicked the NOSMSTOME link contained in every SMS and still you persist.
I’ve even written a sh$&y review about your service and product - 2x!
I’m really done! So, for every communication I receive, I’m writing another bad review. In fact, I’m posting the contents of this email.

I have asked three times to be removed from their telephone contact list and they just persist in harassment. I will never buy from them.

Frightfully misleading sales pitch for dubious products, excessive number of cold calls, spam.
Have purchased wine from this mob for some years, sometimes quite good, sometimes very ordinary to boring. Received my last purchase which was horrid and basically undrinkable and returned all of it apart from a sample of around 60 mL taken from one bottle for evaluation and rapidly recapped and replaced in the case and returned via Australia Post, as arranged with OakRoad. This was over two weeks ago but promised refund has not surfaced as yet. The sales pitch for the wine was rubbish as it's only potential use was for distillation for spirit as the alcohol content was the only prominent feature of this terrible wine.

Phone spammers
Keep calling and calling.
Have asked them twice now to take me off phone list which I dont know how I got on in the first place.
Even if they had a box of the best wine for $1 I wouldn’t buy from them due to the constant calls.

You need to make a complaint about this company
Most of the other 1 star reviews of Oak Road estate mirror my experience with them.
I have never bought anything from this company and have never subscribed to notifications from them. They have been spamming me for at least 2 years, maybe longer. I have requested 3 times to be removed from their list. They spam me with daily emails from 7 different email addresses (all blocked) and ring every couple of weeks, also from multiple phone numbers. Every time I get a phone call I have to add that number to the growing blocked user list.

o unsubscribe clearly don't work. So today I have complained to ACMA and I will pursue this further with any other relevant government authorities. They are liars and scammers and the government needs to act to shut this type of operation down. But that will only happen if enough of us make a complaint.Similar opinion? SCAM and SPAM
I have NEVER signed on to these guys. They used to call me constantly with my "customer special credit" or some rubbish. I told them I wasn't interested, and to not call me again. They did. I told them again to not call me. They did. I told them to remove my details from their lists. Now they don't call....but they DO SMS! I contacted them online through their website live chat and requested to have my details removed permanently. "Tom" the operator said "just click unsubscribe." I said I wouldn't as I never did subscribe, and I wasn't going to validate my phone number as authentic for future spam sms. He ended the call.
Steer clear! Lodge a complaint to ACCC, the ACMA Spam Watch (for sms) or whatever you can. Dodgy as anything

Terrible
Horrendous wine; bought some once, years ago, don't even remember when, and they have not stopped contacting me despite asking them to remove my details, over 20+ times now. This is harassment and am now considering legal action pursuant thereto. Kindly go away.

Do not go near this company
Made one purchase and have been contacted relentlessly by telemarketers approximately once a month since. I have asked every single time to be removed from their calling list but keep receiving calls. I have even gone on the 'Do Not Call' register because of Oak Road Estate, but this does not work. The last person who called me said there were 'no notes on his file not to call' as I hadn't spoken to him before. What about all the other people who have called me? I am at my wit's end with these people - harassment is no way to make a sale! Disgusted.

Good to start, but a complete rip off in the end.
I have received quite a few good wines from this mob. But after time they just went down hill in both wine and service. I would receive mediocre wines that were praised by sales people. I would not receive wines tha were ordered and paid for. several contacts have been made with the promise to be contacted by them. Emails are being ignored. This is just another scam as far as I can tell.

Super-spammer
Spams me a few times a week. Never subscribed to them. They probably bought emails off the black market. Will not give them business and will also advise my friends and family the same -- that's for spamming.

5 telephone calls and 2 emails a day for last year or more [phones from rotating numbers in Victoria of course]
Never asked to be on email list or phone list. The email address is rarely used and was sourced from a list they bought black market [friend was hacked and had my email address in their contacts - same with their other friends - most now get the Oak Road emails and phone calls]. My phone is on the Do Not Call register. Seems regulators the only way to stop this, but no doubt they'll restart somewhere else.

I've never dealt with this company, but they think it's normal to just spam me. Unsubscribe does not work. Will be reporting them to the ACMA as soon as possible.

Appalling spammers - they will NEVER take you off phone list
We made the mistake of buying a small amount of wine from Oak Road Estate several years ago but found our needs better met elsewhere. Since then my wife and I have both received countless emails and phone calls to home and mobiles with "special offers" and "I just wanted to let you know..." etc. After the first few we made it very clear we don't want them to contact us again but they completely ignore this. Same experience as others, every caller claims they are very sorry and will get name removed, yet this never happens. One time I was pretty...Read more
fed up and quite rudely told them to NEVER call again - and five minutes later they called back to "just to find out why"!! This company is quite simply an abusive advertiser and I recommend you stay well away from them - if you can. Personally I am about the write to several bodies about their plainly illegal sales tactics - Do Not Call register which we are on, Consumer Affairs etc.Similar opinion?
