Terrible
Can I give it non it is so slow and so confusing! It is no good and is hard to use even on the phone I could not hear the person on the over side. It is no good an is over priced for the Quality! Not good! I’m very upset.

Great budget smartphone
This is a great phone if, like me, you prefer to buy outright and avoid lengthy lock-in contracts. Its my first Oppo and it does everything I need it to do. The apps run well, there's plenty of space, and the battery life is great.
I particularly like the night-shield function, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted from the screen. It's noticeably gentler on my eyes, and I do feel like I fall asleep more easily when I switch to night-shield during the last few hours of the day.
On the down side, the screen gets very reflective an...Read more
d hard to see when outdoors, especially on a sunny day. It's easily solved by increasing the brightness, but that can be a bit of a battery drain especially if you forget to switch it back later on. (I also wish the phone was smaller, its just that little bit too large to fit comfortably in a pocket.... but I'm aware that phones in general are trending towards larger screens and I'm probably siting outside the tide of popular opinion on this one). On the whole I'm very happy with this phone.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Oppo AX5
Purchased from Officeworks, rep was quite helpful.
Using as a dual sim phone and battery lasts well into 2nd day once you cut out all background apps (I do prefer to say applications but battle lost).
Would have liked a smaller phone to better fit into shirt pocket, always using 4+ emails addresses (exchange/outlook) and really liking the larger screen for now so benefits out way here.
Face Id works well and the phone manager keeps memory cleared...why it needs 2gb out of 4gb to run is beyond me. Takes time to shut down other running apps pe...Read more

Seems great so far
I've only had my Oppo A5 for a day but so far, I love it. Big, clear screen. Easy to use. Appears to have all the functions and features I want.
I was disappointed to find that my Aldi prep-paid chip didn't fit in it. Will NEVER buy anything at Officeworks again. Absolute WORST service of any store in Australia. I had my old phone with me and asked them to swap the chip over but they refused, saying it was easy. No warning that the SIM size was different in newer phones. (They knew the age of my old phone). Also didn't honour price match guara...Read more

love the battery, face unlock, dual sim, included clear case
I had my first Oppo phone (f1f) before this one. After how much I loved that phone (sadly not waterproof tho...!) there was no question of replacing it with anything but another Oppo. Well this phone is incredible. It really feels like care and thought have gone into the features.
A nice selection of in phone photo editing options, but not much in the way of adjustments available at the time of taking the photo so far as I can see.
Bright torch LED. Long lasting battery. Face unlock works really well with me, I hope it EXCLUDES people ...Read more
who look similar to me though, I am looking forward to trying it with my sister but she lives interstate so could be a while. Proper dual active SIM 3g/4g. Sim 1 is the slot at the opposite end from the SD card slot. SIM 2 is the middle one. It takes NANO sim. I like that it uses micro USB so all those old chargers you have everywhere still work with this phone. I like the VIP favourite caller option which even overrides silent mode when they call. For some reason though when I put my partner as a VIP contact the phone ring changes to a daggy one that came with the phone even though it says it should be the track I have loaded as my ring tone for everyone (and which is working for all other calls. Also I am not sure why they have discontinued the function that when you set an alarm it tell you how long til it goes off..I find that really handy to make sure the alarm is set right. Besides that, so far other complaints at all. It is luxury at a very affordable price. If you are new to android, Kingsoft office is free on play store and is good for document editing. I like using Swiftkey keyboard. SMS back up and restore (green clock logo) worked well to get my calls and messages off the old phone (just before it died) and onto this one. I had to Google how to transfer contacts onto SIM card...very hard to find how to do it compared with old phone. All in all good value and would recommend.Similar opinion? Best phone I've owned
At first I thought Oppo's were just another average quality phone, that was until a lot of my friends got other versions. My old phone was slow, old and ran out of storage. I upgraded to the AX5 and my god, expectations exceeded, face ID works perfectly (when there is lighting) Camera is great, battery life is ridiculous, UI is Iphone level, not to mention the phone looks great. I thought the notch at the top of the screen would be a hindrance (it kind of is when trying to swipe down from the middle) but it doesn't obstruct your view like in a ...Read more
lot of other new phones. I'd prefer this phone over an Iphone X which is amazing considering you can buy 3 AX5's for the same price as a 64GB Iphone. My only complaint is I don't like the look of the notch. In my opinion it's far better than the new Galaxy and Iphones. I guess I'll be sticking with oppo for the next few years. (Not a sponsored post, this phone is actually uber-underrated.)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

how do i jail brake my phone because i canot rember my acces code
1 answer
First off, just to let you know you can't jailbreak an Android phone, that feature only existed on iPhones. Since you can't access your phone you will have to hard reset your device by pressing the power button as well as the volume down button. Hold onto those buttons till you reach recovery mode and then select an option that wipes the data/restores your device to factory settings. Hope that helps :)
