I rather live with cold weather

published

I've got this unit now for the last 5 years but I never got to use it through out the whole winter, it has been repaired at least 3 time, still to this day causes headache & we can smell the fumes as soon as turned on, fumes are so strong that it must be turned off immediately. I have emailed Paloma & did not get a reply.

Purchased at Bing Lee for $1,289.

Rubbish

Noisy fan. Contacted (Rheem) service and after a 3 week wait, the fan was replaced but is no better. The technician said it was normal. Now we are stuck with a noisy heater. What a waste of money.

Purchased in March 2022.

Error codes 5 and 72, gas smell when unit shut down. This on first use. Obviously no testing at the factory prior to shipping. Contacting service tomorrow, will be interesting to see if things improve.

Purchased in May 2022.

Contacted warranty department who agreed to replace unit. Arrived home and guess what? Filter fault code with replacement unit. Contact warranty again and now service agent to arrive next week. Wishing I had bought the Rinnai.

Perfect Gas Heater

published

I've had this heater now for 2 winters, and it's fantastic. It heats up our large open living space, and i mean large. I wasn't too sure how effective it would in an open space, but I am pleasantly surprised. We haven't had to use the ducted air con at all.

It has two timer functions, and it turns off by itself if gas levels are high OR if you forget to turn it off. Easy to clean and not too noisy.

Fantastic heater

published

This heater does any excellent job heating up large spaces fast. It has two timer settings allowing it to heat up the room even before we wake up. What i also love about this heater is that it has a safety mechanism which turns off the heater is the oxygen levels in the room are too low. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it.
