Hello, I purchased a Philips XXL airfryer.. the first time I made chicken bbq in it, it worked. The second day I again tried to make chicken but it's fan didnt turn on; no sound of fan. The airfryer was heating up, and I could feel some heat coming out of the vent at the back of machine. I took it to the shop they replaced it without checking.
Now after 1 year, same problem has occurred. I used it last night. It was perfect. Today when I tried using it, fan is not on as no sound of it. And, the airfryer is heating up and heat can be felt near the cent at the back of it. Please help as in the condition these days, I cant take it to service centre.

which is better 9861/99 or 9651/91? Family of 2 adults and 2 male teenagers, and is the difference worth the price?

The higher end model is able to save favorite cooking settings, The 9861/99 model also has Smart Sensing technology, this means that a Smart sensor automatically adjusts the time and temperature for perfect results. I have a xxl digital Philipps airfryer for almost one year now(bought from Qatar). When I turn it on,the display turns on with no beep sound . The touch buttons don't work to set the timer and temperature. When I press the knob button to start heating, nothing happen. I feel so disappointed for buying it again after my last Xl one failed also with a board issue.

My daughter has a unit that turns on, all indicators are on but the fan doesn't seem to turn on. Unit heats up and will eventually cook. I have the same unit, fan turns on, frozen chips done in 10 mins, daughters takes 30
Been to repairers once, no fault found. Still problem. Known problem? Replacement this time as still in warranty?

How could no fault be found of the fan isn't coming on? Hmm strange. My fan comes on. That's the whole idea of an air fryer. If under warranty I would go for the replacement.

I bought a HD9651/91 in July 2022 and was using is it well. No issues at all, until we noticed that after some time the drawer does not close flush. The hold out of door is about approx 5mm and does not lock into a flush position however much you try to close it. However this does not stop cooking. Since we were under Concierge Warranty with Good Guys, we went and complained. No questions asked they agreed for a replacement. Not sure why this door not closing issue ocurred. One possibility is that when operating at 200 Cel the drawer door may be warping or expanding, causing a 5mm gap.

My turbo advance XXL air fryer cooked for 13 minutes I stoped baster and restarted after 6 minutes it stopped. I am using it outside as it is a hot day. I wondered if it may have overheated . I have waited 25 minutes but still not starting and no lights showing. Not safety switch ripped tried changing powerpoint. Any suggestion. My pork char sui is only 1/2 cooked. Not happy

how old is it and at the end of the day I would contact Phillips direct online because it depends on your warranty but at the same time they should fix it for the price we pay for it. They should assist you without any problems. At the end of the day Philips have a reputation as one of the dearest airfryers around so believe me they do not want bad reviews.

Hi, my philips air fryer fan not working every thing is working except the fan so no sound for the device when i switch it on in any program. Any help?

Sounds like you may have over heated during a cooking process. Your air fryer needs the fan to circulate the heat for it to work properly otherwise it'll cause the moter to over heat more. My advice is to stop using it & check if still under warranty. Regards Jackie

Hello. If I purchase this item online on EBay (brand new) is the warranty still valid? I notice some people return to the store of purchase if they have an issue. Buying online won’t allow me to do that, so what would be my option if I have an issue ?

Remove the food pan and look up the back of the slide and the back of the open area as well. You will probably find a bit of food stuck in there.
