I bought this for my baby and I fell in love with it. Once steamed you can just blend it up no need to use a seperate steamer and blender making it very convenient for busy mums like me. Making it easy to prepare home cooked meals for baby. All easy to clean too

The product is good . I am using for my baby 10m. The food is nice and smooth . A little bit annoying for washing . When i washed the machine . I lost the clear rubber at the steam part . Where can i buy it ? Thx

Just purchased the item and haven't used it yet, I am waiting for 2 weeks until my baby ready for solid. However I saw another product of "NEW Philips Avent 4 In 1 COMBINED Steamer Blender Healthy BABY food Maker"
Can you please advise the difference between those two and do I need to do exchange?

I bought this one since my bub was at 5 months old and about to start with solid. I totally love it. I put all kind of veggies in, steam them then blend all together, very fast and convenient! She is now 7 months and I am still using it almost everyday.

we bought this one from Dick Smith couple of weeks before it closed down. got it really cheap but bit worried about warranty etc. However it has worked really well and no complaints. It is used very regularly and it never let us down. fully recommend this machine, really worthed.

I purchased this brand new from babies r us almost two months ago. First of all it was missing the instructions and recipe booklet. I finally receive this in the mail and now on reading the instructions I see the valve is missing. Now I have to sort this out in the small breaks I get from the little one. Who knows how well this product works! They cant even manage to package it properly so I cant imagine hiw horrible it is made.

This product is awesome, was making life so much easier not having to use all different appliances- all in one product!
However, extremely disappointed as the third time of using it, it blew up the blender still works just not the steamer. Water leaks from bottom.

I was really enjoying the ease of this appliance howeve only the second time using the base started leaking water and smoke raised from the base I followed the water allocation per manual very disappointed as I just started my daughter on her solids this week. I take it the machine is faulty as the steam option light won't go on anymore but the blender still works. Apart from that this appliance is ideal and love the ease.

I purchased Avent SCF 870/20 and suddenly after 2 months of use the steamer sound (when the steaming is over) is not loud any more - it look like if the water broke in the machine. A day after a blender stopped working at the moment. Every use od a product was proper like it is said in a product manual...........

My philips Avent was stored for 2 years and when trying to use it,the light is on,and then after a couple of minutes it makes a beep sound and stops. I usually follow the same steps and cut the vegetables into small parts and put the water as required. Any idea how to fix it?

I like this steamer blender because it is an all in one gadget.
However, the green blender attachment (where the grip is to the machine) does not attach well to the mug, and thus does not blend well.
Not sure if that is supposed to be the case as it was not when it started

This product had been great for past 2 months to make foot for my baby. However I have noticed burnt smell coming out of the steam vent after steaming apples (and I waited 20 mins after it was finished steaming to take the jug off the machine). Upon inspection, I noticed the plate inside the water hole was completely burnt!!. I'm awaiting response from their customer service to know what I need to do/what they can do.
Another bad point is that the plastic lid is very difficult up clean when they stain. There are so many grooved on the lid that it's very difficult to get to those areas! Otherwise I really like using this product (other than the burnt steam obviously).

I was so excited about this product and recommended it very highly to everyone I know. Today however I was preparing sweet potatoes and carrot for my 6 month old babies when I noticed a strange smell and it turns out that the plastic on the blender's knife was melting. Needless to say, I threw away the food and I'm very disappointed. I thought I was providing my children with healthy meals that were so much better than prepackaged food but now I lost faith in avent products.

I have loved this machine. It's so easy and simple. I've been using it now for four years (three children under the age of four).
It's not big so storing it hasn't been an issue.
Even used it to make mash potato for my husband and I.
Never regretted purchasing it.

We love all the Phillips Avent products for my baby. It steams ok all the vegetables for my baby, but last week after the steaming, when I wanted to blend, it made a horrible noise, the little knifes didn't spin and so the two connections that made the knife spin got broken. Hopefully they can help me here in Romania, I sent the product back. I wait for the response.

I've only just recently bought this and have used it only once. Yesterday I wanted to steam and blend some carrots. It's steamed it ok but for the life of me, could not get it to blend!!!! I've read and re-read the manual, made sure the jug is not full, tried it when the motor is cold, after a couple of mins when steaming finished, checked the lid is on correctly, checked the blades, I can't think of anything else and the troubleshooting section in the manual doesn't help!!

This is one of the best products I have purchased! I'm not a great cook so this is perfect for me. Just wash veggies or fruit, chop them, steam then blend, it's so easy.
The booklet is great with easy to follow instructions (water measurements etc) and has a few great recipes to try.

I'm wondering if White is the best colour for the lid though as carrot has stained it. That said, it in no way impacts the use of the machine.

To start with, dissembling Thd lid parts, to clean, is a little tricky but becomes second nature in no time.
I also found it more tricky to clean meat from inside the lid but, again, becomes second nature (best to soak it immediately after use before washing).

I love this machine!
