Thieving pack of Grubs

published

Charged an 84yr old Pensioner who lives on her own $5000+ for a replacement HWS, 2 under sink traps, 5hrs labour total. Pushed her to sign off on it which she did, tried to get the bill looked at as she had no understanding of what was involved to be told "we stand by our price". Two plumbers came in after the job was completed and quoted half the price. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TURDS.

Absolutely terrible

I found them to be unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Their prices are more than double what a decent plumber would charge and the service was atrocious. They spent 8 months harassing me to pay an invoice when they had not completed the work. Despite telling them this on many occasions, they refused to discuss the matter with me and didn't even bother checking their own records. Waste of time, avoid.

RIP OFF

published

I had a cistern that would not stop running, shower tap that did not switch off and required a new PLV (pressure lowering value). Quote was given with no breakdown for $2,434.20. Job took 45 minutes. They charged for installing each separate component @$110, $42 to test, make notes $34, remove rubbish $40, admin cost to create report/project mgt - $135, compliance cert - $160 (this costs only $35). vehicle maintenance - $30 and public liability insurance - $30. A Total rort and will be pursuing this further via the VBA.

rip off

I would never call this company on the weekend, it cost my elderly mother $500 to change 2 taps in the shower. It would have been a lot cheaper to turn off the water and stay in a hotel . The call out fee was $149 so how could it cost $350 for half an hour labour and 2 taps

Highway Robbery !!!

published

Because we need the job to be done in a hurry, it does not mean you are allow to rob us blind. Quoted $149/hr, it is already a high figure, than waited a day to be given a quote for $8,000 out of nowhere to do a days of work, wasted a day of our time where we could have got someone else to do the work. It is just taking advantage of people.

Rip-off Drain unblocking

published

They arrived on time, and did the job really quickly. First thing they asked me to sign an agreement about the quote, then the quote is done and you have to sign an agreement to continue. Plumber spent 1/2 the time typing up quotes and agreements. The job only took 10 mins. Then I was sent the $425 invoice with 2 pages of contract terms and conditions in fine-print.

Service

published

I called Priority One Plumbing for service. Made appointment, next day advised cannot make it need to change. Fair enough. Then day before second appointment called to say unable to attend need to make further appointment. Made another appointment. And yes, after third time scheduled, get text Saturday night unable to attend. On fourth attempt Job done and not properly. Had make further appointment to fix the shower leak but of course this time came straight away as I had only paid part of invoice and monies were owing. The next day after finally getting leaking shower fixed I got call reminding me to make payment. If this is the type of service you wish then use this company.

Not professional

published

They provided a vague and broadly speaking quote that didnt specify anything and then when asked for a detailed one, I never heard from them other than a couple of months later when they wanted the money for the quote attendance. Very pushy when they want your money but no action when you want something from them.

Terrible

published

Called for plumber on 31 March at 5:50pm, told there would be one here within an hour, then a text saying they were waiting for a reply. Nothing happened, no response when I contacted them. Called yesterday, I was sent a message saying they called, no answer so sent the plumber elsewhere, no missed calls on my phone. I have evidence. I used this company last year, $3,000 job and this is the terrible service I received as a previous customer. No apology, disgraceful service.

Terrible: charged call out fee, couldn't carry out work

published

Arranged for someone to install gas oven, he got me to sign a thing on his phone to say I agreed to a call out fee THEN told me he couldn't do it that day. they still want me to pay the call out fee LOL

Will waste your time

Absolutely appalling. Nice dispatchers kept assuring me the plumber would come, but he didn't. They rescheduled three times. No respect for the time of customers who need to take time off work.

I’ve finally found a plumber

Well I have had various plumbers over the years and none of them have been any good
Today David came when he said he would, he was very polite, friendly, cared about our problem
Totally professional new exactly what he was doing. I will definitely but using him again and most certainly recommending him

Lesson learned, read the bad reviews as well as the good ones

published

I would not recommend to use the company. The plumber was not punctual (told us to be here 10am - 12pm, came after 1pm), and (long story short,) the pricing is very suspicious/tricky. The verbal quote and the actual price was different and when I pointed out it took 4 emails to get the person just to look at the invoice properly. Might be unfair to apply this one case to the whole company, but when you deal with a large company like this, it's a hit and miss. My impression in the end was, their number one priority is definitely not customers. I think it is a good idea to read the bad reviews as well as the good ones before making a decision. I wouldn't use this company ever again personally.

You charged $1050 dollars to 'not move' a sink that you made my friends Asian girlfriend to move aside from a outside access drain for a tap, even though she stated it was the toilet that was blocked. Then you used a camera but could not find any problem (even though she stated it was not the storm water pipe, it was the sewage area), You then opened up a 40mm inspection point and then send the camera into the PIPE that was not the problem, She stated it was the area under the toilet where the poo and toilet paper go. He stated he could not access that area, but he could for $4000 dollars and $1000 dollars cheaper if she signed up for the next day. This will NOT be paid, we will be seeking legal guidance and from most of the reviews of your business, you conduct business with no morals and try to take advantage from people who don't deserve it.
