Deceitful and Stand over merchants. Would Not trust this company!
We did all our homework and gave specific instructions to Private Fleet including model, premium upgrades and accessories we were after.
Private Fleet initially came back more expansive than dealer direct. Then we got passed to another person at Private Fleet.
They countered with subsequent offer....little did we know whilst the price was reduced so was the accessories - they became 'or equivalent'.

t says on our card statement. Funny though since I wrote the email to Private Fleet and Fair Trade all has gone very quiet....and the calls/email to my wife have ceased. Anton hasn't called me he just gets Sandy to email saying you will enforce the contract. Stand by our comments. supply this . The dealer has misled you in advising the product is inferior to their aftermarket option . This is not the case. Colleen committed to a purchase of a new car with aftermarket options and was very happy with the purchase and agreed to everything in the agreement form. If you decide to cancel there will be cancellation fee . this is a standard practice if you do not stand by your commitment .

Amazing service
Wow - I am still in shock at how amazing this service was. All I did was make a phone call and say which car I wanted and literally a day later, they called to say they had five options. The car I went with was $2000 cheaper with a trade-in than the best offer at my local dealership. Two weeks later my brand new car was delivered and my old one driven away. No hassle at all. I will definitely use them again and will be telling everyone I know about it.

Great service
I have just completed the purchase of a new vehicle through Private Fleet. It was the second time I have used Private Fleet and again I have been very happy with the help which was provided to me. Genuine and objective advice about the vehicle under consideration is provided and as I already had a quote from a local dealer I knew that through Private Fleet I was saving well over $1000 on the purchase. It all went very smoothly and I recommend this service as the only way to go when purchasing a new car

Not interested in helping
Phone calls and emails not returned and then when asking for someone else to deal with the service manager said they would love to help only if I have chosen 1 vehicle and ready to buy. Where is the customer service to help choose the right car and help me through the process. I have chooses to go through other provider. Just after a sale!

A great service with a great outcome
I was researching a new car purchase and noticed the Private Fleet website. I was somewhat dubious but decided it was worth investigating. It was a smooth and worthwhile service from beginning to end. Tom K from Private Fleet was professional and friendly, which made the process stress free. He was able to achieve a competitive price that was very acceptable to us. I would happily recommend Private Fleet.

Easy to talk to, timely updates and very easy to talk to. They explained everything and ensured I got the best deal. When I spoke to them about the best deal I had found, they listened and then went back and got an even better deal. A true team effort. Awesome!!!

Will not buy a new car any other way now
We looked at a new Honda from a somewhat local dealer. They could come close to the price we had in mind. We found Private Fleet by googling and the service we received was excellent from start to finish. They asked us what changeover price we had in mind as we also had a trade in which they also negotiated.
We received the price we wanted to pay with no negotiation on our part at all.
We will certainly be recommending this service to any friends who may be n the market for a new car as well as future new cars for us

Two happy car buyers!
I stumbled across Private Fleet whilst researching new car prices on the internet. We had a very positive experience with Jonathan Bates who secured our first car so l thought I'd enquire about a car for my daughter. He secured a car for her the next day! From start to finish we had 2 new cars in our garage within 9 days and 2 very happy owners!! A great experience with both Jonno and the 2 dealerships involved, l would highly recommend!

Outstanding Service
We were looking to buy a new Subaru XV and the woman at the local dealership really failed to impress. I noticed Private Fleet on the internet and sent a query through. Communication was great and we were allocated Ray Thomas who was excellent. He put the car out to tender and then came back with a range of prices and options. We saved over $2,000 from what we expected and didn't have the hassle of dealing with the car salespeople which was even better. Delivered to the door with a full tank of petrol. Couldn't be happier. Satisfaction Provided
I was delighted to meet face to face to ask and receive answers to my questions. All was satisfactory. Quotes were obtained within 24 hours. Dealer contacted me promptly, sorted details and best of all the Principal delivered car to my home on the back of a car trailer in excellent condition.

We got a quote on a vehicle. The dealer pressured me to take it as (he said)it was a good deal. I told him clearly(at least twice) that I had to consult with my partner before I could give him an answer. The following afternoon, before I was able to get back to him, an email came through from Private Fleet Office that a vehicle had been ordered in my name; I rang the person I had been talking to and he claimed that as I had not got back to him (it would have been about 24 hours) he assumed that I approved the deal and went ahead and ordered the vehicle! I immediately rang the dealership that the car was ordered from, told them the story and they put the order on hold. I requested the person to whom I had been talking to cancel the order and refund my deposit as we never confirmed that we'd agreed to it -verbally or any other way-but he was pretty insistent that I had approved the order. I reported this to to his manager - he asked a few relevant questions and assured me he would look into it but so far have not had any reply from him- That was a few days ago. As we did not authorise any order we believe it should be cancelled our money refunded.
This needs to be sorted out before we can move on. Where do we go from here ?

Hi Its very strange as private fleet have excellent communications, I see you paid a deposit so that would indicate that you had agreed in principle for the vehicle, In my case deposit was not paid till such times I(we) had made a decision and then only binding ( i thought) when you sign the contract that may have included trade ins. I would speak again to private fleet as the person(s) I dealt with were good
No private fleet are corrupt people, they don’t give complete information at time of booking orders. In my case agent from private fleet took money without my permission, at time of booking he only negotiated price & asked me to give credit card details. After he took the deposit, I asked him about delivery date he said will come next day after checking with dealer. Next day private fleet agent came with one month delivery date in July and asked him to cancel order. Despite of saying no, Just he had my credit card details he deliberately put my order. They are cheaters.
I asked several times to speak with manager but no response. ... in the meantime I had reported the case to ACCC.
in your case Linda keep pushing to speak with manager & ask for company director’s details to bring the issues to board members attention. In the meantime you can report complaint to ACCC
My process was that I only paid a deposit when I was happy with the price of the vehicle I was after. I would recheck again with the Private Fleet supervisor to get it sorted out and your refund organised if you're not proceeding.

Once you have decided on the model (and colour) and have an idea of the price, it's well worth the phone call. You don't have to accept the offer.
Just got our car this week, delivered to the door with a full tank of petrol. Don't know for sure about the warranty, but the info from the dealer who supplied the car (and to whom you send your money) indicated that any authorised dealer for your car can do the servicing and keep the warranty going. Ring and chat to the Private Fleet people about this. Good luck.
KJ, While initial contact is made by phone everything backed up with documentation both created by you and for confirmation by Private Fleet. I you have a trade you are required to provide a significant amount of information backed up with photographs and copies of supporting documents. Once you verbally agree to any offer provided, you will be receive a detailed quote which you sign and return to them. Once your vendor is assigned you will receive a contract for sale form to sign. Nothing is progressed without authorised documentation. The easy part is the phone call initiation of the process and follow up communications until a deal is done or you exit the process.
Hope this helps. I will never buy a car in the future without going to Private Fleet first.
