The staff seemed friendly and trustworthy, and I thought they were trying to help me, however their fee is unjustifiably high, and the options they provided me with were overpriced, they charged me $2700 to replace a Dux storage tank with a Rinnai continuous flow hot water system, I realised they had overcharged me but was unable to renegotiate a reasonable price because I had signed a contract. I like my Rinnai but am unable to recommend them because I felt really upset by the overcharge, they also add a membership fee to the quote and can't explain why they charge so much, I asked for an invoice detailing a breakdown of costs and they said no

James from SA Drains came today and fixed my leaky shower taps. He arrived within the appointed time and was very thorough and cleaned up after himself. The additional free safety inspection on my plumbing was a bonus. Very happy! Invoice 7116

From first phone call to have someone come out and give us a quote for work to be done the service has been excellent. Phone calls to let us know when someone would be here to explaining what is happening. This is our second call out for 2 different jobs and would definitely recommend.

Thorough inspection of all possible issue’s. Friendly service. All issue’s fixed In good time. Preemptive fix on issue that would have blown up in less than a month, saving us the hassle of getting it fixed later.

The guys were great today, they arrived on time, they were very respectful and polite. They got on with the job explained everything before they started and explained what they did. I also paid exactly to the quote no surprises. So I am very happy with the job. Thanks to the team

Called them out to find the issue was with SA Water, they then claim the fee from SA Water and billed me as well, they deserve to be paid, but not twice - what a scam! For this reason I would not recommend.

We had SA Drains around this morning to fix a leaking pipe on the inlet to our house.
The plumber was a great friendly fella and replaced our old fittings with a new system that should last now for years.
High quality work and would definitely get them back again.

Thanks for driving my grandma to the bank and draining her account. Job still unfinished and a mess which hasn’t been seen to.

I had to call out SA Drains late Saturday afternoon after coming home and finding I had a water leak in my yard. Brendan arrived that evening and was able to get the problem fixed. Very happy with the service and impressed he stayed till after 8pm to make sure me and my family had water. Invoice number 6992

Great. Fantastic prompt service. I would recommend using SA Drains and will be calling them again for other plumbing issues in the future. Great to see inside the drain with the high camera.

Hot water tank failed but a call to SA Drains resulted in Ben coming within the hour and then together with the electrician they installed and replumbed a new hot water tank the same day. A job very well done by two excellent tradies whom I will get back in a heartbeat if I have any other plumbing issues. Great service SA Drains

Most unreliable company made booking Monday for electrical work to be done, told this would be done between 12.00pm - 4.00pm Wednesday, didn't happen notified 3.00pm on Wednesday came first thing Thursday morning. Price quoted to disconnect spa and reconnect spa at a later date $425.00. I didn't accept quote for what would be a ten minute job on both occasions. I rang a reputable electrical company and was charged $125 for the disconnect and reconnect, I believe this company is taking advantage of consumers and needs to be investigated by consumer affairs.

Easy to use service, top quality work and super presentable, I'll definitely use these guys again if the need arises. :) The gentleman they sent was quick to arrive, on time and very knowledgeable.

They are scammers... Refused to give itemised invoice... Quoted over $5000 for a job which was a complete rip off... They seem to tell everyone the same story your pipes need replacing... Do not go through S.A. Drains they are very dodgy... They did a job at my house and I was not impressed at all...

Originally called SA Drains for a water hammer issue, Allen the plumber was very polite and helpful and said that there was a 90% chance of fixing this problem. $2,700 later and the water hammer is worse.
Simon (Manager) recommended spending another $560 for arrestors with no guarantees and me out of pocket if it doesn't work. As it turns out, my water pipes are in the walls and not in the roof which was not determined until after the work was carried out. Initial inspection could have saved me a lot of $$$.
