Microwaves Buying Guide
Our buying guide will explain which type of microwave would suit you most, how much you can expect to pay for one, and which features are worth looking out for.
Shonky after-sale service
Bought a new m'wave, as above, and tried to contact Samsung to ask (1) how, if at all, to illuminate the oven with the oven door closed, and (2) how to illuminate the control panel. I am visually impaired and these features are important to me. They had the gall to tell me that the information I wanted will cost me $100, otherwise I can only contact them by phone to complain about this, presumably at a cost of $100.. The other features seem to work okay but this puts a big ? over their after-sale services.

sad buttons
the buttons on this are its only let down as they are truly a joke and will annoy you til you scream. you have to press so hard and in many cases repeat the motion to get it to work . who ever thought that this was a good idea is an idiot.

Stylish and heats up well.
I've been using this microwave for about 1 year now, wanted something that looked modern and would do a good job. It heats up efficiently unlike the old one I had. The defrost setting is definitely a life saver for when I forget to defrost things I need which I forget to defrost the night before as always. I've recommended it to family & friends which they have also purchased.

Sorry Samsung, bad bad design...!!
I bought this microwave few months back, but regretted the decision quite soon. It is very shiny and impressive but has some major drawback;
1. The design look quite impressive, but once you started to use, your fingerprints are all over it. Of course you can wipe it clean, but prepared to do this few times a day for next few years..!! At least they could have made the touch panel not that glossy,
2. The buttons are terrible, far from touch sensitive. This is the main drawback. You have to use significant force(often press more than once...Read more
) to operate. Each time you do this the microwave actually moves and I have to bring it back. Very very annoying...! Again, I have to do this couple of time a day for few years..! Why can't they make touch sensitive buttons? Sorry Samsung, quite poor control panel.. 3. The microwave does a reasonable job, but nothing special. The heating is not very even in many cases. So just a regular microwave. I contacted Samsung customer care, but they asked me to take it to their service center to check the sensitivity of buttons. But I understand it is a waste of time as I have seen few reviews expressing the same concern. My friend bought this but returned due to the same issue. PWSimilar opinion? Good microwave!
so far it has been an excellent microwave, a bit different to my old one as i was so used to the timing, however once you're used to it it's great, perfect temperature food! it's also very affordable and has a great finish to the product, the way it looks is fantastic!

Great microwave!
Love this microwave, light easy to use and I have used it a million times heating up 3x kids worth of botttles over the years. It’s easy to clean as well, and always heats the food evenly in my experience. Absolutley worth every cent I paid for it many years ago!

It heats food fine...oh...IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY BUTTON NOISES!
It is a microwave...it is not a Sports Car where I would look into every possible nuance and review before purchase. IT HEATS FOOD FINE!! However; anyone here who doesn't like the sound of things audibly reminding you that they want attention? Especially when that thing does it FOR HOURS AFTERWARDS???
Undeniably the best feature of any microwave...you can select to turn the BEEPING OFF...the only brand that I could find that would do that.
I will add that one thing that is annoying is that the buttons on the front panel are tricky and fi...Read more
nicky to push. For some reason you have to push their buttons in exactly the right spot otherwise it just will not do anything. It seems product review didn't share my original 'tongue in cheek' humour when drawing a metaphor between this microwave review and a (hypothetical) perfect female companion...so I have had to tame it down. $20 says this still won't make it XDSimilar opinion? Sleek, modern design with great functions
We needed a new microwave but needed it to be similar in wattage to our old one. This ticked all the boxes. It's small but mighty. The design is very sleek and modern and would fit right into any kitchen. We generally use the microwave just to reheat food and it does just that - heats up food quickly and evenly. It does come with a variety of options other than to reheat but I haven't had the need to use them.

Powerful microwave for a great price!
Recently bought this microwave for $200 from the good guys, didn't want something huge as we only really use for re-heating. It's taking a bit to get used to as it is quite powerful, having to cut most heating times in half compared to the old microwave! Haven't yet had a fault and quite happy with our purchase! :)

Excellent!
Excellent size (nice and big), good power, quiet, easy to clean, worth the price! Love the 30s button. Lots of functions but I only use the straightforward microwave option. Comes with instruction book with recipes (but don't they all). Looks very sleek and modern, matches most appliances in the kitchen.

Excellent microwave!
We decidd to upgrade a very boring appliance, and we can't believe how much it's improved our everyday cooking! The microwave hasna variety of modes that really aid in meal preparation, as well as making leftovers easier to eat. The size is perfect for a small family, and the ‘low light’ function a surprisingly great eco feature that more appliances should have!

WORKS AMAZING
We purchased this microwave a few months ago for our brand new home and have not had a problem what so ever with it, it is quite to use and does the job. We love the look of the mirror finish yes it can get dirty but we love the look of it as it goes with all of our other appliances. We just clean it every time there is a mark which surprisingly isn't very often. the price is reasonable for what you get and I think Samsung are the best ones to get in my personal opinion. always have bought Samsung and never had and issues.

It is reasonable price too for Samsung which we "thought" was top brand that's until we bought their fridge (never again). We don't use the microwave alot but it does what we need to when we do

Microwave.
I bought this microwave a few months ago. The only problem i do find with it is its mirror finish as the finger prints are left on it and continuously cleaning it.
Other then that it is a brilliant machine with 1 button to cook popcorn to perfection everytime and auto defrost is amazing.

Does the job
No issues what so ever :). It does what a microwave is supposed to do, has some good functions (food specific), has the option to turn the sound of which is good, it looks good, is a pretty decent size, pretty cheap in my opinion too. Has a steam cleaning option too.

Does the Job and Looks Decent.
We purchased this Microwave about 12 months ago to replace the tiny white microwave we used to have hidden away in a cupboard. Our new house has a microwave space so we decided to buy one that looked decent.
We don't use a microwave for anything more than heating up and occasionally defrosting some meat. No complaints with it at all. It does what it needs to. the interior is easy to clean and the keypad is self explanatory.
The only down side - the keypad can sometimes be hard to press.

Good looking one
We brought this microwave for our new house! My wife loves the design of it. the front of microwave designed with Mirrior reflection. Also got all the great function you need for your cooking. Inside the microwave got a small plastic water container which you can put some water while you heating up ur dish and it helps keep your food moister!
