Considering Just about every single review on here Is negative I’m now reconsidering purchasing this fridge!! There seems to be two main issues. First issue is that almost everyone reports water leaking into the bottom of the fridge and that the seals go moldy and second issue seems to be the poor customer service following the fault being reported! So, before I even consider buying this fridge what changes has Samsung done With newer models to fix this very common issue??? If your answer is nothing and/or trying to direct me to Facebook private messages so no one else can response then I believe I will have to continue hunting for a better fridge! I don’t have enough money just to be throwing it away like so many people on here unfortunately have. Again, if it’s a very common problem shouldn’t changes be made?!?!?

Is it possible to use 583l French door fridge without plumbing ??? Just want to use water dispenser and not the ice maker.

Hi Joanne, if the water/ice dispenser is not used, plumbing would not be needed for the SRF583DLS refrigerator to function.

We had my 4yr olds bday party today and one of the kids decided to use the water dispenser when we werent looking and broke the plastic lever. I cant seem to find online how to replace it, only an exploded diagram of the door but how to replace the part.

I have the 583l which I have noticed today a part has pushed off inside the fridge under the circular twin cooling disc and its appears to be caused by ice? any ideas?

Hi Steve. Yes ours has done it twice. It’s usually from accidentally leaving the door open. best way to fix it is to empty it out and turn it off. Once the ice is gone, turn it back on and all should be good. Please don’t use anything to “chip” away at the ice, if you puncture something you may as well chuck it out and buy a new one. I’m a fridge mechanic by trade. Hope this helps.
Many thanks we kind of saw that it wasn't anything significant once the fridge/freezer was turned off and left. It was also a good time to clean both sections .
Are fridge door seals available as we have noticed mold appearing in some areas which is proving difficult to remove which I think is caused by the same condensation

We have this fridge/freezer and mostly it is quiet but every 10 minutes or so it makes a loud clicking noise and then 1 min later does it again. Perhaps like a fan or something. It's quite loud and can be heard from the bedrooms at night. Is this normal?

I do not have multiple so i can only tell you our fridge does not make any sound. Though we do not use the water maker nor the ice maker. No plumbing attached.

Yes - but we don't have the one that requires it. We just fill the container with filtered water and it comes out very cold. Just love it!

I am sorry that I cannot answer this question as this does not happen with our fridge which is the SRF583DLS. Maybe you have to alter the temperature - best thing is to contact the supplier.

Ice build up in the back. This is a common issue with this model that we are having fixed for a third time tomorrow. They installed a part that was meant to solve it but hasn’t. Fridge is failing to cool properly and has resulted in food poisoning. Not impressed.

How does 533 L compare to 583L french door fridge?

533 L has freezer door opening and 583 DLS has pull out drawer for freezing compartments - not too sure about cost but it depends on whether you want to bend down to your freezer or crouch right down to access your items.
