My car got minor scratch and they said your scratch will not be covered becoz its more than 6 cms. How come your car got scratched and you can keep the scratch as small as possible. If its 6 cm above, which actually it is not, you have to pay the retail price plus have to go to their office. Ridiculous service . So, whats the point of having the membership?
Just have a look on my scratch guys. I dont recommend anyone to go for schmick. Instead save your money and use any local panel beater, they will do it for 10 times less

He arrived earlier than he had indicated (a welcome change from other businesses) and immediately set about completing the work in a professional manner. Frank did an excellent professional job on both my damaged alloy wheel and general car body chip tidy up. In fact as he was not satisfied with the first wheel repair he did, he did it again without being asked just to meet his own standards of care and quality. After my insurance was nearly up I contacted Schmick to assist how I went about using the service in a non serviced area. I was given over the phone advise by 2 employees as I didn’t trust the first answer I received. After I had confirmation twice I acted accordingly and once I submitted my claim [Name Removed] asked for evidence of the phone call to see who it was I spoke with as the advice given shouldn’t have been and it wasn’t procedure. Once I submitted this information I received some [Word Removd] reply stating that they can not honer my claim. I will be seeking advice from the ombudsman asap to have this resolved.

Saved me a heap of money on scratch repairs. Paul from Perth, came at a convenient time, was incredibly polite, and did a fantastic job on my Honda Civic. Couldn't be more happy with the service, highly recommended from me.

Simon R from Schmick contacted me promptly after I submitted my claim and arranged a mutually suitable time to do the job. The work was completed as discussed and now you can’t even see where some irresponsible, anonymous person damaged my car.

I purchased this product only to find out that when I scratched my car it wasn’t covered due to various technical exceptions. The customer service is also very poor. I was told I would be contacted by a repair person with 2 business days, over a week later and after following up again - still no call.

We had Domenic come to our house to repair 3 of my Mercedes Benz wheel, for which they came second best with a kerb but after Domenic had finished with the repair they lokeed like new . Exellent job Domenic and thank you.

Great service! Repair was done by Daniel, he was polite friendly and efficient in his job. No problems with booking the repair or its quality. The wheel looks good as new.

The job only took an hour. They came to my house so it was convenient. You can’t tell there was a scratch or that it’s been repaired. I also had a liquid spilled on the paint work which I couldn’t remove, it’s now gone. Excellent value for money and great job.

I was talked into purchasing Schmick Platinum membership when I purchased my new car recently. I did a minor dent & scratch on my car when I scraped it reversing out of tricky car park. Schmick has refused to come & fix it due to the damage not being on a flat surface. Nowhere on the information I received when I agreed to purchase the membership did it say this. In fact there are photos of repairs done on bumper bars which are curved surfaces. I’m going straight to Consumer Affairs. A total con.

Excellent service provided by Simon who was able to remove all the scratches out of my door which was caused by a dog, highly recommended and friendly. Definitely use again.
