Great telephone service, website questions could do with improvement.

Wording on some of the questions on the website was questionable, rang them to clarify and organised over the phone. . On the website it asked if I was the registered owner, but I am buying next week and need insurance to drive away. It asked if I was the policy holder but I had not signed up yet, it should have said "Will you be the main policy holder". Anyway, rang the 13 number spoke to a very helpful real person and it was all sorted. Great telephone customer service, not the best website questions

Consultant was thorough, offering options and explaining at times in detail parts of the policy. He was knowedgable and respectful and pleasure to deal with.
No pressure to buy, he actually said.to look around.

Yes the deal was great, until I lost my cards for the direct debit, trying to ring their incompetent customer service is like pulling teeth, I am about to toss the whole it the bin
What is the matter with these people employing such people who may only be interested in their next pay packet. As if my time is not valuable

Very good - Suits my requirements

My only issue is the the inflated premium on my Comprehensive Car Insurance renewal.Once I challenged the increase as being uncompetitive with other Ins companies I was given a reason of increased ins costs - and then given a more competitive rate which I accepted.

I lodged a claim in July 2020 and was very satisfied with customer service around the claim.
I had issues with the repairer (of my choice) and repairs were moved along with the assistance of Hollard customer service.

I have been a member for only 1 year and have just renewed my insurance for a further year.

I joined this company in 2008 and though I have never had a claim I insured the car I still have with them and have been happy ever since. Just found out from a very helpful lady that I can get even lower premiums because of my low yearly mileage. How good is that!

Policy was excellent value - half the price of my previous insurer which I had been with for years. Policy was easy to set up although I could not find my exact model online and had to phone AS to finalise. Started with Australian Seniors in January 2020. A few weeks after I switched to them the car was damaged in a hailstorm. I completed a claim form online and heard back within 24 hours. I took the car in for a quote as advised and received approval to repair within a few days. Left the car for repairs and got it back sooner than I expected. The quality of the repairs is outstanding - looks as good as new. I am very impressed with insurance company and repairer.

Comprehensive Car Insurance

Have any of you seniors Insurance buyers tried to use Digicall Assist roadside assistance that was included as an option in your policy? I just rang to see where my welcome pack is after including this in my car insurance. The Australian Insurance person said up to 45 days to get this. I am a 2 hour drive from Sydney and I am worried this will not be reliable.
