Never buy online from them
I’m a gold vip with sephora. Ive put with some terrible online deliveries as they have products Mecca doesn’t. But I’ve had enough now. I ordered a palette for $112 and it went into the sale for $62 the next day (of course!!) i contacted them, they wouldn’t cancel order or refund the difference. Said i had to reorder and return original one!
So i did - with sephora paying for shipping (makes sense eh?!)

Poor service

Disgraceful online shopping Sephora Australia. Absolute WASTE OF TIME
Placed my order. Was shipped fairly quickly. Received all items except for one $35 eyeliner - in it's place was some lip gloss I did not order. No explanation of why. I contacted them and it took 2 days to get a reply. Since then, it has been almost two weeks of back and forth with me replying instantly and Sephora taking a day or 2 to get back to me. d, I have to fill out a form with all the details I've already communicated, which would have been easily found with my order number. Then wait more days for an authorisation receipt, so I can go IN STORE, because I no longer trust the online ordering system. So I'm forced to do the one thing I was trying to avoid because of Covid-19, and go in store to a busy shopping centre to fix their mistakes. What a colossal waste of my time and money. Disgusting service with online purchase
I bought a skin product and the box came fully open. I have not used it as I have no idea whether it’s been tampered with or not. I have contacted Sephora 4 times and it’s been 3 weeks and have had no response in regards to a refund, return or anything for that matter. It seems they only care about the purchase being made and couldn’t care less if the customer was actually happy. Money hungry business and disgustingly terrible service.

Unbelievable service
I ordered several things online however, I received the wrong item. I contacted them and took 5 days for them to reply. Then they insisted that I received the same item that I ordered. I provided them two different pictures to explain the difference between the two (one for what I ordered and one for what I received.) Then, they went quiet and no reply. be able to get a refund. I wonder why. I did not do anything wrong. It was simply their fault! There was not single apologetic message during the whole conversation and I feel I have wasted so much time and effort during this. It was not worth it at all. I am shocked how little they know about makeup items but also their poor quality service. They sent me the wrong item first of all, but very reluctant to attend the inquiry. Missing Products
I have shopped with sephora for years but recently they've messed my orders. The first one came with the box opened, the second one came in perfectly packaged but was missing $107 worth of products and missing the packaging slip. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and contacted their team to ask if I'm at least going to be compensated for it but had no luck. I'm just frustrated at how they handled this and I probs won't be shopping with them ever again.

Missing Product
I ordered Murad exfoliating scrub and eye cream, the box was opened and my scrub is missing. As there is no way to get I. Touch with them through phone, I wrote to them and they got back to me saying they are there to help bla bla but nothing since then, it’s been 3 days from last email I received. This is ridiculous. Will never ever shop online from there.

Terrible ! Missing Order story
I ordered birthday gift for my best friend but she did not receive any things. They said that they delivered already and showed me signature of receiver name who I don’t know. They said that they will investigate and turn out with the message that they delivered without any further evidences. It’s terrible for me to experience this kind of service. I would never come to store or buy products again from Sephora.

Terrible service
I ordered a Anastasia eye brow dip in mid April it came nearly 4 weeks after! And it wasn't what I ordered the box was destroyed and whatever was in the box was used! I kept going back and forth with emails hardly anyone was getting back to me. In the end all I got was we can't resend you product due to influx with orders!! Disgusting never again!!!

I love how they do sales. Let’s everyone have a chance of buying stuff. I’d like to see more of a product range though (like the US) but this is nip picking. Customer service could be better

Never a bad experience shopping with sephora online. Although shipping does take quite a while, items always come in perfect condition and are packaged carefully. I will always come back to repurchase!

Purchased a Vit C serum along with a few other products/ samples on 5/4/20. Didn’t use the 10 percent off for being a first time online purchaser; instead I opted for another sample size serum. been kind so far, although she attributes this to a “human error?” What human stuffs up a delivery of all 4 products, unless of course they were inebriated or high as a kite? I’ve never ever experienced anything like this before. Buy instore only!
Everytime i buy online from sephora there is issues. It always takes forever, comes damaged or has some issue with it. They have poor customer service too i find everytime i buy from them i have to contact customer service. Horrible. Buy instore only where you can control your products and “shipping”

The worst
Everything about Sephora Australia is appalling. They are constantly out of stock of a lot of products (e.g Huda beauty lip contour pencils for nearly one year), never have sufficient cleaning and sanitisation supplies (when stores are open), terrible returns and exchange policy, poor packaging with online orders, poor customer service, not competitively priced.
I HIGHLY recommend Mecca instead, they don’t carry a couple of the brands I like so unfortunately have to go to Sephora Australia. However I am looking for alternatives to never shopping at this place again. Sephora APAC is an embarrassment to the US Sephora

Worst Customer Service!
I had an item missing from my order (this has happened 3 times in the years I’ve shopped there, always during a 50% off sale and I was told previous times they didn’t have the stock to fulfill the order). s over two months ago. I have been trying to email, and have not gotten a response for 2 months. If I submit a new enquiry the ticket is automatically closed. If I message on Instagram, it’s ignored. If I comment, it’s deleted. However when a STRANGER asked them via Instagram message, they told that stranger “she is suspected of fraudulent activity”... can tell this to a complete stranger but can’t have the decency to tell me??? This is the WORST Customer Service I have ever received in my life. And from reaching out to the beauty community I am not alone!!! Worst Customer Service
I purchased a few products and one of them arrived empty. It was in the box, but an empty jar, I took a photo of it and requested a replacement. I almost had to beg but as the product was out of stock, the consultant gave me a credit note so I could repurchase the product when it came back in stock. Well it was restocked 2 months later, which is when I found out the credit was only valid for 1 month!
Not even going to follow it up with them as I doubt they would be interested in helping.
I will not buy from Sephora again, never had any issue with Mecca!

I placed an online order and they haven't even shipped my item after 5 business days. How can it be possible? just picking an item, packing, and shipping it takes more than 5days? r maybe shut down your warehouse or whatever you can't run the business properly, don't even take orders. I wouldn't have bought anything if I knew it would take more than a week to just ship an item. and imagine how long it takes for Australian post to deliver it. maybe plus 5+ working days? 2 to 3 weeks to receive an item in total? it wouldn't take that long even if it's from overseas. More importantly, they don't accept any cancellation and their reason for that is because it causes errors!! I wonder what kind of system they use in this 21st century. I did make an order last year, for some reasons I didn't receive the portal. Then I went overseas for like half a year. I just found I have ordered something from sephora, guess what, two people replied me and they want me to make another order instead refund. I was like... what a huge company but with this terrible customer service, how to keep your customers???

Customer is not number 1
Damaged boxes. Items lost in transit. Incorrect items sent. Then no resolve for a product I can only purchase through them. They don't care about the customer experience at all. Made to feel like a liar. Not happy at all. Expected more from them. They are doing a disservice to the good brands they represent by providing unreliable customer service.
