This was just about the best looking fridge in the shop. The interior seemed like the most attractive and functional as well. When we got it home it proved to be a very easy to use fridge, loads of room, easy to keep clean. Keeps everything a good temperature, meat area is nice and cold.

such a delicious looking fridge, a statement piece in our Kitchen
Well I have to say I am in love with this fridge it is so quite, and fabulous to look at, when you open the top doors everything is easy to see, so no more worries about leftovers going bad because you cant see them. We selected the black glass exterior which is so easy to clean and looks absolutely dynamic a great addition to our kitchen. The temperature range is wonderful, as we have had such a hot summer everything has been chilled to perfection. The freezer has drawers which is so easy to keep everything tidy and in place and has huge double ice trays. We have no regrets about purchasing this fridge, so happy with it to date

Good fridge until suddenly stopped working
Purchased April 2015, love layout and easy to clean. Plastic draws are a bit flimsy. Feb 2017 it has suddenly stopped working. Lost a heap of food. Yet to contact Sharp. Reading horror stories on here it looks like I will have fight on my hands. No honour nowadays. So many similar problems on here that it is obvious this model or OR Sharp refrigerators have big issues.

Not A Long Lasting Fridge Don't Buy It!
Only Lasted me 2 years. Worked great in that time till the Freezer dropped temperature. Gas Leak. not repairable.One month into ext wty and 5 weeks stuffing around now I have to go buy another fridge. I want to spend my money knowing my fridge will Last Longer. NOT HAPPY

Worst investment EVER!!
Although it is a wonderful fridge when working, the fact that it hardly works is a problem.
I purchased this fridge a year ago and was working fine until it randomly stopped working for 5 days and then again on multiple other occasions, living in tropical QLD food out of the fridge in the high temps of summer all has to be thrown out.

Grate fridge
Very good fridge never had a problem with it,it's very quiet,loads of room.
Had a big storm where we lost power for two days yet it still stayed cool,didn't have to throw anything out,even the milk was OK.
The only negative is the door handles they look good,but show every bit of finger contact,constantly having to wipe them down.

After much deliberation to replace a 450 l fridge and a 200l freezer we took a punt on this one. We have had it for approx 6 months now. It looks fabulous and very quiet. I had a 200 litre upright fridge with drawers. These are bigger and better. I use some smaller containers within the drawers to keep smaller things tidy. The ice trays work beautifully ..so easy. New Fridge
The new fridge arrived today from the Good Guys, and waiting 4 hours or so before turning it on. The delivery guys said to wait and hour or two before doing so, why I don't know but we will see. Looks great and hope to be able to give a solid review in a couple of months. If it operate without problems will upgrade rating from good to excellent.

we were informed that this would be the case. The freezer work extremely well and the ice blocks form very quickly, all in all we are very happy with the product to date. The next test for this will be this summer that is fast approaching. High pitched noise driving me insane.
Love the layout but this fridge is incredibly noisy and just isn't cooling to the temperature set. It runs for hours and will only turn off for exactly 30 mins at a time. The fridge is full, no kids opening doors all day, and there is required spacing around fridge. There is nothing on or in the fridge that is that is rattling and making the sound. It is definitely the compressor. Wish I'd read complaints before I purchased. The noise is heard from every room in the house and even over the TV.

Brittle and very breakable plastic fittings
The freezer is fine. No complaints.
The fridge works well enough, but the plastic mouldings in the door pockets and the lid of the vegetable crisper are brittle and very poor quality. The clear plastic tops of the door pockets fall out constantly and smash on impact with the floor. The vege crisper door has an obvious design flaw and the hinge breaks regularly. Why are the panels in the middle of the fridge doors very warm? The fridge was brought in Nov 2017. The freezer ones are fine. It only seems to have become like this about a week ago.

The panels are warm for a purpose and that is to stop mildew building up
When we got the fridge we went through the same worry that it may be faulty but in back of manual you will find its an actually part of the fridges operation. This drops cooler after a short time and may heat up again

ave given me a store credit for a new fridge. So I'm very grateful for the fast, no fuss way that they dealt with the problem. Especially impressive during the Christmas/New Year holiday period. My impression of Sharp is that they are a company who backs up their products with good service. It makes me happy to buy any of their products again in the future. Now that I've looked at other fridges I really appreciate what a great fridge my old Sharp one was. Everything was in a good place, it was easy to open and browse in, and the twist ice trays aren't even standard in other fridges - they should be, they were so easy!
