Starting with Mark in sales, he put 100% in crafting out a design specific to our needs. He guided us though the early part of our build with such professionalism. Then followed by Kim our site supervisor we was excellent and had a keen eye for quality. He took the stress out of the whole building process and his communication was excellent throughout the whole time of building our lovely home. We would have no hesitation recommending SJD to our friends and family in the future.

As first home builders, I cannot speak highly enough of the team at SJD. From our first meeting with Neville, who helped us to design our dream home, to Rod helping us to finalize, Leah for putting up with us taking 6 weeks to decide on an interior paint colour, to the legendary ladies in the office (shout out to Hayley and Courtney - you ladies absolutely rock!), to our incredible supervisor, Shane, - who gets his own review, there has never been a time where they were not available to answer a question, return a call or reply to an email.

We couldn't be happier with our SJD home! Initially we worked with Rachel in sales, who spent many hours helping us put our vision onto plans. Once we got to site, our site manager Shane was a pleasure to deal with. He kept us informed and up to date throughout the build and worked very hard to ensure that the build met our expectations. We finalized drawings for contract at Plan Revision issue "O"....Tracey J was our professional, calm, caring, very patient Sales Consultant who took ownership of what we were trying to achieve, never once pressuring us to finalize drawings/quotes but more encouraged us to think about it and make sure we were 100% sure before we went to contract.

We recently did hand over from SJD homes. We were pleasantly surprised with how smooth and painless each step was from sales to selections and construction. Our supervisor was brilliant. always proactive in over coming our concerns and providing guidance and advice throughout the build. Post build we had a few minor issues that were rectified with out question. Calls have always been returned or answered and its those simple things that made our build a pleasure. As for the house it did exceed our expectations. And we will build with them again.

From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. At the initial stage, we made so many changes to our plan but it was always taken on board with a smile by our sales consultant, Leigh. We were kept informed through the stages and were really impressed by the progress. Our site supervisor, Shane was always very helpful and accomodating with our requests. Shane even went above and beyond to include couple of items which we actually missed in our plan. Now that we have moved into our home, we just love every single day admiring our beautiful home and amazing craftsmanship of SJD. Right from the very start Rod Fitzsimmons made the contract sign up process very easy and explained the process as to how the build would proceed. The process was excellent.
Our colour match design consultant Leah Dalton was excellent and was able to ensure that both myself and my partner did not kill each other over colour selections. Leah was knowledgeable in all their products and made choosing the equipment for our new home a breeze.

We first met Rachel in January 2022 armed with a sketch and a dream of what our new house would look like. Rachel spend many hours turning that sketch into a fantastic house plan. I am extremely happy with the SJD team. Due to time constraints at my end, Kim O’Conner the site manager and all the staff at SJD, worked so hard to complete my house on time. Against the odds, weather, and of course COVID 19 was also a major issue but SJD put the correct measures in place for the completion of my beautiful home. Thank you SJD

After shopping around and having paid initial deposits to two different builders I picked SJD Homes for their reputation. I am happy to say that they did a justice to my decision. Site Supervisor James Unthank is a wonderful dude to deal with. He had done a fantastic job that I could not find a single defect during the inspection; very cooperative in picking suitable times to meet up and an easy going guy; Each stage updated me with the status and what happens next. I am impressed with the way SJD homes treat each job carefully and make sure the customer is completely satisfied. House is perfect. Thank you SJD Homes and James !

Rachel and SJD were very patient with us as we took three years to sell our home and commence with SJD. Through various design changes and upgrades we were thrilled to finally start in Sept 2022.
Site Supervisor Kim was excellent to deal with, responsive to calls and emails and very good at listening to any concerns we had. Kim is action orientated and does what he says, or will tell you straight what can and cant work and will offer alternative suggestions to meet your wishes.
We chose SJD originally for the quality of their build and the great value of upgrade options and we were not disappointed.

We started our build with Megan and was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge, she was always there to answer any question and made the process easy and stress free as did our construction supervisor, Hamish. We had a couple of minor issues but they were quickly sorted (even making sure we got our niches ). He always kept up to date with what was happening and the workmanship was first class. We will be recommending SJD homes to family and friends, we love our new home and the quality is second to none! Thank you Megan and Hamish :)

The sales process was good, slow communication, sometimes 2 weeks between emails but other than that our sales guy Kevin was helpful. He gave us realistic prices so there was no contract price shock, he walked us through the upgrades in the display, he showed us the standard inclusions. Somethings he could improve on were elevation plans, we never saw these and if it wasn't for us contacting the cabinet maker directly (as we were instructed to do by our SS) we would of walked into a house with a kitchen layout we didn...

We built with SJD from interstate. We were looking for an investment property and fell in love with an SJD display home. We then discovered they did investment home packages. WOW how easy has the journey been, Megan assured us along the way to trust the girls there in Officer with the colours as there were slight changes along the way. The house looks absolutely fantastic and the professionalism of our building supervisor who was so organised, nothing was to much trouble and he kept us informed every step of the way.

We have moved into our brand new SJD home three weeks ago, and have been very happy overall with our experience building with them! Lee in sales was great during the initial process, and our site supervisor Hamish has been fantastic with everything. As first home buyers finding a builder to trust is very daunting!
Well from the moment we walked into the sales office we were pretty much sold! From the original floor plan mixed and matched we had our house designed Rachel couldn’t have been any more help! Finally construction hit and we were off and running! Kim was more then accommodating to any questions and was quick to pick up on any issues with a quick email or phone call, being a modified house there were a couple of little issues not picked up whilst on the drawing board but Kim and the particular companies were quick to find a solution and ensure the house was complete! Can not wait to move in and enjoy our SJD home

When we walked into the display house at SJD we fall in love with the design. From our sales person Mark to our building supervisor Kim, we felt we had made the correct decision to build with SJD. Kim was excellent. He was very approachable, made time to meet us on site and made the entire building process an enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. [name removed] was fabulous and easy to deal with. He provided regular updates and made things easy. [name removed] would receive a 5 star review however I can't just rate him. Do yourself a favour and get yourself your own finance broker as that impacted my build. Despite getting told I would receive a call from SJD several times I never got one.

After months of looking for land, I went on the SJD Homes website and came across a house & land package.
