Hello and thank you for your enquiry. A typical build time for smaller homes is up to six months however this is variable and dependent on many factors.
Sjd is one of the worst builder in Melbourne, look some where else.

I purchased a block of land in July. It has been a long time in the making and before I was looking at land I was researching the house I wanted to build and that's how I came across you. The reviews was what first attracted me to you and then when I seen your designs I was sold. I showed my family and friends the plans I liked, I was so excited until..... I a came across “where do we build” ...shattered! You don't build in my area. Nooo!! So my question is do you want plan to expand your building zone? My land is in Doreen.

Hi, we're sorry to hear about your problem. This can be a tricky issue and often depends on the insurance company so we suggest you speak to them first as they often have preferred builders and source their own quotes for the completion of works.

Do they do knock down and rebuild at Avondale Heights Victoria?

I confess I had to Google map where Avondale Heights is! I believe SJD do knock down and rebuilds, but they are based in South East Victoria and you are North West. Having said that, there is no harm in asking the question, right? So, feel free to give them a call and find out. Bear in mind, if they do agree to build out your way, you will be up for a larger haulage cost (this is the fee of them transporting all of the building supplies to your site). My costs were around $4000, which was an additional fee on top of the overall build cost, and I live in the South East. All builders charge this fee, as I understand it. If they agree and you can factor this into your budget, SJD are worth building with. Hope this helps.

Hello, how does your verification process work? some reviews have 'verified purchaser" some dont have it?
does 'verified purchaser" apply to positive and negative reviews ? and what type of verification is required before approving and publishing the review??

Hi there, verified purchaser is a term used by the product review website to ensure the reviewer is genuine customer - they must submit proof of their purchase to have their review published. I hope this helps. Proof can be a copy of a receipt or invoice or the like.

Thanks for the questions. SJD homes only built homes in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Not the Western Suburbs. They have display homes in Cranbourne and Officer in the South East.
