Hopeless warranty work
My A1 had faulty windscreen wipers and tail lights and once problem identified (2 weeks), had to get part in (1 week), then problems with mechanic availability (3 weeks) and then finally got it fixed (2 weeks). Hopeless liaison as to what was happening, no idea of how long things will take and would not return calls. No offer of loan car or much of an apology until lovely new service lady, Tahalia arrived and did her best to correct everything and try and keep me happy. Reading other reviews and my experience there does appear to be a systemic problem in after sales service and warranty work and general customer management. Will not be going back!

Key left out car stolen when there for warranty
My car was stolen from Albion park dealership close to a month ago during the night and key was used that was left out on service desk and didn't get placed in lock box for the night car and key gone only had car for three weeks and it's been burnt out a total loss and now it's close to a month and no refund or compensation for their stupidity ... if car didn't have a fault from the next morning I brought it it wouldn't of been back at car yard under warranty and car would be still in my possession ( Discussing ) they seem to think it isn't there problem ..
But because they left the key out it seems to be causing a problem ...
Where's the duty of care with this company southern classic group ...

PRESTIGE CARS WITHOUT PRESTIGE SERVICE
I purchased a Jaguar R Sport from this company in August 2018. I travelled from Sydney to view and purchase the vehicle. The handbooks were missing when I arrived home and I called to ask for them to be sent to me, which they were. A few days after the purchase there was a vibration noise from under the car. Upon inspection I discovered that two screws securing the rear bumper were missing allowing the bumper, that is plastic to vibrate. I contacted the dealership to explain. I could not get in touch with the salesman and the recept...Read more
ionist informed me he would call back. This of course never happened, in fact despite a number of calls I have not spoken to him since my purchase. Despite seeking to speak to a manager this has never happened. I eventually spoke to a young rep at SCC. Unfortunately he turned out to be equally unreliable. Despite assuring me the missing screws would be sent they were not. In the interim I contacted Jaguar-Land Rover Australia. They informed me that my concerns about this company's after sales service had been passed to SCC and I would be hearing from the Company. This of course did not happen. Last week I was at the end of my tether and threatened to drive down to Wollongong and take them to task. Their rep gave me another excuse and assured me they screws would be in the post the next day. This, I thought, is sounding like "the cheque is in the post" and other great lie jokes. But, sure enough the screws arrived and lo and behold they are the wrong ones! In the interim, there has been a fair amount of publicity regarding Takata air bags. An internet search by myself showed that my vehicle is subject to a recall to have the airbags replaced. Further searching revealed that it is a requirement by law that where a vehicle is subject to a safety recall at the time of sale the seller MUST inform the buyer both verbally and in writing of the outstanding recall. This did not happen. Therefore SCC have broken the law and potentially put my life and that of any front seat passenger at risk of death from an defective airbag deploying in the even of even a minor collision. My advice is DO NOT BUY FROM SOUTHERN CLASIC CARS if you expect Classic after sales service.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
