Service for both taking out travel insurance and settling a claim was both quick and easy. Pricing is competitive making SCTI good value for money and with the one claim we made they responded quickly and fuss free.

SCTI is competitively priced & no fuss with all several previous policies. Have no claims, but airports have rough baggage handling practices resulting in some unfortunate baggage damage! We are satisfied with choosing SCTI in our future travel plans.

Realistic cost for slightly older folk, with some good features (sensible hire car excess, clear understanding of pre-existing conditions, easy to get quote and complete form). Luckily, have not needed to make claim over 5 separate trips but process appears straightforward. However, overdue for a data-based emergency call number to fit modern communication.....need WhatsApp or similar.

We were happy with SCTI after the sign-up process was straight forward. We were extremely happy when the airlines cancelled our flights and we had to stay an extra day.

Have used SCTI on a number of occasions and haven't required any claims. On my most recent trip I broke the touch screen of my GoPro whilst hiking. Submitted a claim on my arrival home and, after providing the required documents, my claim was approved promptly along with a super friendly email from the team : )

Very easy to understand Product DIsclosure Statement (PDS) and to get a quote online. Great price also. Southern Cross covers you and your family where some other well advertised companies do not. Make sure you compare the exclusion details with others PDS. Used other companies in past and compared but found Southern Cross best.

Always buy travel insurance from this company for my trips. Affordable peace of mind and useful if really needed - made a claim in the past and had absolutely no problems.

Will purchase travel insurance again from SCTI. Their reputation for Quality customer service and settling claims quickly was the sole reason for my Travel Insurance purchase through SCTI.

This is my third time using Southern Cross Travel Insurance. I've thus far not had to make a claim, but consistently receive advice on how to claim if necessary, offers of assistance with the claim process if required, and contact details if I happen to get into difficulties while overseas. I have always felt secure and will continue to use them for future travel

Policy easy to set up with help from sth cross personnel

The policy was very easy to set up online and the cost of coverage very reasonable. This is the second time I have used this insurance company and would do so again given its very competitive rates and excellent service.

I would just like to thank Southern Cross Travel for being so helpful following a phone call to ask a question regarding an online application for travel insurance. The person I spoke to was very kind and informative and ended up helping me to complete my application from beginning to end, which was above and beyond what I had expected - such great service!

Ten days prior to departure, my husband and I had to cancel our 9 week trip to Europe due to me breaking my hip. The trip included pre-paid river cruise, european trains, international and domestic airlines, plus accommodation. We notified SCTI early in the piece and they flagged our case. It took approximately 2 months for us to organise all our statements and receipts which we then scanned and emailed to SCTI. Much to our delight, there was a no-hassle full refund of all trip costings and the correspondence from start to finish was friendly, well communicated and prompt.

Due to two family bereavements we were unable to travel to our annual holiday aboard our narrowboat in the UK in 2022. SCTI was exemplary in the fact that they covered our mooring fees which we would not have incurred if we had been able to complete our trip. We have used SCTI for the last three years and will continue to use them for the foreseeable future and have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.
