Sunbeam London Collection TA2220B (Blue)
Looks great. Toasts poorly.
How disappointing that this expensive toaster only really toasts on one side of each slice of bread. I bought it a year ago to match the kettle (which works perfectly) and I would have thought for $130 it would well truly outperform a cheaper brand (K-mart for example). Lesson learned - stick with the inexpensive brands, they make them look pretty too these days. Sunbeam appears to have dropped the ball on this one.
Purchased in July 2021 at Appliances Online for $129.00.

Cancel button stuck after 2 weeks now won’t work
Worked fine for 2 weeks and today I went to cancel the toast as my eggs were not ready yet and the cancel button is stuck on and toaster won’t turn off unless I un plug from wall.
Purchased in August 2021 at Amazon.

So disappointed
I bought the matching kettle and toaster for our new home in January 2018. It has worked perfectly and looked beautiful on the bench. Yesterday, the lever failed to lock on one side, but thankfully the other side continued to work. This afternoon, we all discover the other side is now not working either. taste. I rang the service centre this afternoon before throwing it out, hoping there would be a trouble shooting solution but it was not to be. As it is longer than 12 months, its no longer under warranty - I would have thought Sunbeam would stand by their products, especially high end toasters with huge profit margins. I wont be replacing it with Sunbeam!Purchased in January 2021 at Myer for $150.00.

My $12 Woolworths toaster lasted longer!
Worked well for 14 months and then it just died. It toasted well and bread did not burn or get stuck so I expected it to last longer for the price. I had a Woolworths $12 toaster in the past which lasted a lot longer! Not worth the money. It looked pretty though :(
