Suncorp is 68% owned by the Qld Govt. Default 'No service' from a Govt department is standard practise.
Suncorp is a Government run entity. They trade under more than a dozen names, so it looks like theres competition in a free market...there is no competition. Dont be surprised if you come away disappointed.
They dont pay on flood claim if I live at the bottom of a hill & 3 metres of flood water came through my property, destroying my yard, plumbing, pool filters & pool. ask for the printout & get charged $3. This year, they charged me $395 to renew my Mortgage for another year. I never had this happen in 30 years. My Mortgage interest rate is double what is advertised as the going rate for a Mortgage. I went to NAB for my banking with no hidden charges.

CTP CLAIMS - Customer service and understanding, a refreshing experience
Suncorp i just want to give your company in particular your ctp insurance claims section a 10/10. I am so so very touched by the actions of the Brisbane branch and i cannot express my gratitude enough. I know there are always negative stories about insurers but i just want to thank suncorp from the bottom of my heart and gibe credit where it is due. You have made something heartbreaking a little bit easier, it is appreciated beyond any words.
