Poor service- ordered dog wormers at a great price and also ordered cat wormers only because the dog products were at a great price. After the cat wormers were sent I received notification that the dog wormers are not available and I would be reimbursed. So I end up paying $20-30 more for the cat product (including postage and compared to other sites) . I received a refund for the dog wormers but It didn’t include the postage that was paid.....
I would have cancelled the whole order if I knew it wasn’t available...

Vet Products Direct Online store offer great discounts and recently I took advantage of the free postage they had the other weekend. All my purchases have arrived on time as indicated by the tracking through Australia Post. I am very pleased with the service I have received with Vet Products Direct and will continue to shop with them and I can highly recommend this company.

This company used to be be good but a year or so ago, they had a change of system and service went down hill since then as well as prices seemed to creep higher.

Buyer beware, the VPD club that provides you wholesale prices and up to 40% off is not of any value when you can buy the same products cheaper from other online vendors.

I hope they can actually take this feedback on board and fix what used to be a great company offering good products at reasonable pricing. Until then, I will no longer purchase from them.

I have been with Vet Products Direct for years, I order online as I am in regional Queensland and find they have a comprehensive range of products from farm animals to fish all at great prices and delivered so quickly. Qualified people are available to answer any questions you have and there customer help line is faultless. Highly recommended.

Found the items I wanted 10% cheaper from another website: My Pet Warehouse. This equates to a lot more than a mere 10% when you also add in the VPD annual membership with Vet Products Direct: $59.50. While I was searching for prices I found lots of websites cheaper than VPD, but they appear 12th & beyond on the Google search list.

I have been dealing with Vet Products Direct for many years and have always had great products and service. Any orders are received promptly, any questions answered with minimum fuss. Prices are great being a VPD club member, makes the animal maintenance and food very affordable. I would highly recommend them

I placed an online order, but one of the products sent to me was incorrect. Mistakes happen and for me the sign of a good business is the way mistakes are dealt with. Vet Products Direct could not have been more helpful, the correct product was shipped immediately and the process for return of the incorrect product was easy and at no cost. I was impressed.

I have been purchasing from Vet Products Direct for at most 2 years now & they are just wonderful. Great prices, great customer service & fast delivery. I found that they always have such great pricing when it comes to animal care products such as Frontline Plus. I have shopped with VPD a number of times and go there regularly for items such as worming tablets, toys and dog coats. I have found their pricing very competitive. I have been notified when products are out of stock (which were sent later free of charge). I like their iPhone app and often order through that. I also like their loyalty scheme which provides a discount based on prior purchases.

Recently I placed an order and the day it arrived we had to put our dog to sleep. after contacting vet products direct, they gave me the details to return the parcel reply paid and offered a full refund to my credit card. They made a stressful time a little easier

In need of some cat food and ordered accordingly. After failing to get notification of shippment after 4 days I emailed and found out they don't have the item in stock and therefore took them some time to get the items in from their supplier... really? How about try not selling things that you don't carry or at the very least notify the customers so we have a choice to cancel the order

Bad business practice

I have been using VetProducts for the last couple of year with satisfaction. Their deliveries are very prompt and in good order. They offer free postage over $150 and under 3Kg. I mainly purchase flea and worming treatments, shampoos and accessories. I find those product to have prices a lot better than at my local pet store. They offer loyalty points which equates to 5% of purchase price which can be used with next purchase. I receive regular emails about promotions or specials. One example of saving is: 6 pack of Advocate for dogs over 25Kg costs around $90 compared with $125 at my local Petstock.

I regularly purchase from Vet Products Direct, as I find their prices are very good, fair delivery rates, they have promotions every now and then. But the web-site is not user-friendly at all, so hard to look for products, you need to know exactly what you want.
