Old fashioned, moody and inefficient. Fail to let tenants know about issues in a timely manner, causing them (for example) to unknowingly park in the wrong place for weeks, to then receive a threat of a massive fine out of the blue 6 weeks after moving in.

When the going got tough for our building with major remedial works, Chris Whelan helped the WPG team manage a very difficult process himself. We received a personal and professional response to a complicated issue.

The WPG team have been excellent. I am very pleased with their management and dealings with the owners. Tough issues such as remedial works, fire orders and lift maintenance have been handled professionally and diligently.

We have been using Whelan Property as a strata for many years, they give both professional and efficient service always to happy to help our large strata scheme with advise and day to day running input .
I would recommend them if you are looking for a new strata managing agent .

Would give 0 stars if possible! Absolutely appalling. Have been asking about building works in our building for months with no response. Have come home and they have allowed access to our property without our knowledge or permission! Have previously requested information regarding works and will not respond or answer anything. Rude, incompetent and the worst customer service i have come across. If you are a home owner you are wasting your money with this company.

Doing nothing but only want to chase money. They try every means to raise our strata and even take loans from the bank after spending all our money.

Whelans have been our strata managers for 9 months and so far they have been very responsive and efficient. Chris returns calls and emails promptly, attends to minutes in a timely fashion and has spent a lot of time assisting with the review of by-laws across 4 strata that make up our building management committee. He gives good practical advice at meetings and at other times.

Whelan property group are the most efficient and professional strata managers I have ever dealt with. They have guided us and provided invaluable advise over the years. I highly recommended them.

Levies keeps increasing every year.
Do not respond to requests promptly.
Tries to uses scare tactics to control the committee members.
Spends a lot of money on unnecessary work.
Finds very expensive companies to do remediation work.
Does not send important documents to owners (AGM notices sometimes don't arrive, or arrives a couple of days before AGM), but levies are all ways on time.

No response to urgent repairs needed for over three years. Do not pretend bad reviews are made up. This company is horrific. Enough said.

Great customer service and prompt response. Every little problem arose in the building has been tackled as soon as possible. If there are any delay, has been explained with the reasons. We had peaceful 4 years in the building and big thank you to Whelan Team for taking care of our comfort, safety and peace. THANK YOU.

Whelan were incredibly accomodating when i decided i wanted to do building works in my apartment. They facilitated my interaction with the committee with easy and effectiveness. Making what can sometimes be a difficult experience seemless.

They do not return calls!
Their service is non existant!
We are still waiting to have the simplest of tasks completed!

As a tenant have literally been abused by the building manager hired by Whelan Property group on multiple occasions, be incredibly wary of any building that is managed by them as the building manager we have had from them has harassed my partner and I on a regular basis and generally raised complaints whenever he is in a bad mood. Absolutely horrific that someone so aggressive and hostile is responsible for dealing with tenants and irritable about having to do his job

We have had Whelans manage our property for a number of years, with a couple of different property managers over that time. Alex is our most recent and she is great - knows her stuff and in our case, deals very well with a "difficult" (understatement of the century) Executive Committee. They have always dealt with our directions promptly and professionally and provided correct advice when requested. No question is too silly or too hard. I have liaised with Whelans as an owner and as a member of the EC and cannot recommend them, especially Alex, highly enough - she is a great asset to Whelans and I'm sure they realise just how lucky they are to have her.

The people at strata are very friendly and professional in providing management services. This company has been very helpful and supportive.

Very happy with the change of strata to Whelan. We had many management and financial issues prior to Whelan with no $$$ in the sinking fund. The financials have drastically improved and building in much better shape.
