Zero emails about the 10% off shop, had the card for 2 months now
I signed up to this card with the intention to make it my main credit card due to the claim I would have the opportunity to save 10% off my Woolworths shop once a month. However I'm yet to receive a single email about the 10% off offer. The cards terms and conditions state: "Primary Cardholders will be notified via email prior to commencement of the Offer Period." after 2 months I have not received a single email about this. Others online have reported the same thing (and yes I have been checking my spam folder just in case).
I sent a support e...
Read moremail about this and received no reply, I did receive 1 miss call from the call centre asking me to call them back but I don't have time to be sitting in a phone queue which is why I sent the email in the first place. I plan on waiting one more month and then cancelling the card if there is still no email. I'll just stick with my Coles card as my main credit card account. One more thing to note was that the application process was the worst I have ever experienced when applying for a credit card. Applying online was a pain free process, but it took a very long time for them to approve the application, and when finally received an SMS that it was approved it took weeks for the card to arrive in the mail.
I've now got an email to say the offer is on the second weekend of the month. So I did my shop on Sunday, scanned the rewards card on the back of the credit card and NO DISCOUNT WAS APPLIED. Very unhappy.

My Everything Card
I use my card for everything and pay it off in full each month. Its the perfect card to earn bonus points that add up quickly and are easily redeemed. Plus there's often extra earners linked with the Woolworths Rewards Card. They're also only a quick call away if you have a query.

Good value of monthly shopping
$49 annual fee is affordable.
When getting 10% back on once a month discount, I have saved much a year. This is the main selling point! We love this.
Could get extra points on BIG W purchase though it is not a good point earner though.

Great card. I make money off it every year.
Credit card is good for most things, you get extra points for shopping at woolies and similar brands. I’ve had this card for 9 years (since I worked at woolies) and would recommend it.
Pros
1. We get about $120 in free gift cards every 4 months for our spend
2. Fast to act on disputed transactions
3. Works everywhere
4. Online experience is good, it was recently updated you can get statements etc.
Cons
1. We used to be able to pay it off in store but now the only option is bpay...

Woolworths Credit
So far so good,
Not the best card on the market,
However $0 annual fee is becoming hard to find,
As long as your making payments early and avoiding any extra costs "really any card will do"
I was hoping to get extra rewards with this card, supposed to get 10% off every month, however have not received an email as of yet.
Only a month in but pretty happy so far.

Good card to have
As a Woolworths shopper, I got an offer to get this card with no annual fee. Although it was a slightly more cumbersome application process than some other cards (requiring a breakdown of my monthly expenses), it's a good card to have to accrue points for $20 gift cards with every 4000 points earned.
Worst Experience
Take a lot of effort to apply for the card because of its troubled computer system. Then finally the application was submitted and received a letter to ask me to provide id check. Later asked me to provide payslip. A few days later, got email and sms said card approved.
After another week, received the card, activated and used the card for 24 hours. Then, it has been blocked.
Called the customer service, said the management team needs to see my bank statement. So send the bank statement right away, then just wait and wait and wait.
Called...
Read more again and was told still need 1~2 business days. Wait again. Called again, said still need 3~4 business days. I don't want this card anymore, so just simply canceled and closed my account right away.Related Articles
Cumbersome approval process
Form stated passport as primary id. However, when took to Aust Post for verification, they said in their system, it is listed as secondary id and only worth 50 points. I had to come back with another piece of id. Then when I took my tax notice in, they wanted a sequence number which was nowhere on the notice and did not accept that either... already huge risk to my personal security with these 2 items... how much more data do they want????

Good cArd
Had this card for about 2 years Pretty good card to use, no annual fees, bonuses and points that you can convert to a gift card, good specials are sent via emails, so you can see what you buy is on special. Not using it now but was good when I did have it

No bad for a Woolworth
I think this is no bad card for every day shopping and all little thing, what you want to buy almost every day such as groceries, breakfasts, petrol etc. Pretty secure card with good little rewards, as bonus, which we like. Custumer service is okay, just need to wait pretty long time,- this is a minus.
Not sure how it works overseas, but pretty easy to use in Australia. I am using it about 5 months and pretty satisfied so far.

Great rewards for me
I love this credit card. No annual fee, 10% off my shopping monthly and I accumulate more rewards points by buying "select" brand items by just having the card. I've saved thousands off my shopping in the last year.

Good new features
No annual fees ever which is great.
Monthly 10% off selected items customized for me, which is good but too early to tell the success yet.
Initial activation and the provided instructions were a bit messy, but after calling them I could resolve it.
Easy to accumulate points since it combines rewards card and credit card in one.

Great for 10% off Woolworths shop once a month
My monthly shop discount well and truly offsets the annual fee. Rewards in the form of Woolworths gift cards which are automatically issued every 4 months. I haven't used the balance transfer or used the card overseas. Suits my needs.
Perfect for me
I have had this card for a few months.
Very happy with their service and the card benefits.
No charge for first year and I receive a monthly email advising of 10% discount for the weekend.
Cannot fault it
Practical for everyday use, good rewards
Good for everyday use
Good rewards system with good rewards. Also generates Qantas frequent flyer points.
Have not used the card overseas.
good interest free period and lots of bonus points for certain products
Had a Woolworths credit card for over 5 years
Any issues I've had have been resolved quickly, pay all my bills with it and get rewards vouchers to help with my groceries and 10% discounts once a month. Once this didn't work and was sent a online gift card before I even contacted them. I always get more in discounts they what my annual fee is so I'm happy. Only have a small limit so I can't get into too much debt
Great Value
Every time I have phoned the process has been quick and easy to resolve. I have never been placed on hold for longer than a minute or two while staff were looking into something for me. I haven't had to be referred onto another person - which I love I can phone the one person and they are able to deal with the issue rather than being passed onto multiple people. Each time I have phoned staff have been able to resolve the issue positively, that is actioning what I have requested in a matter of minutes. Every staff member I have chatted to have been polite and efficient.
Excellent product
Recently had subscribed for a sample products and subsequently was charged further at this i stopped the subscription. Unfortunately was charged more but the Team at Woolworths Money were able to assist and help find a resolution.

They have no sense of loyalty.
These guys really forgot what is loyalty. I held a Woolies credit card for 3 years. It was my primary card and I used it to pay rego, school fees, water, electricity, etc etc.
This year I was charged annual fee. Seriously, the competition of credit card is so tense, everybody offers same if not better card(s). I can simply cancel the card and get another one. There are plenty of cards available.
I called in to ask for annual fee waiver. But no, they act like robot, not listening and didn't even bother try to retain me as a customer. "Thank yo...
Read moreu sir, I would be able to help you cancel the card". OK, fine. Cancelled the card and I'll go with Coles instead. Seriously the reward of the card is on $200 spend to $1 and the 10% off Woolies offer goes on very randomly and a lot of times I don't get a chance to use it. Other than that it is a very mediocre card, unless you keep pumping petrol at Woolies. However, I don't pump there. The reward system is designed to be so hard to be rewarded and even you accumulated the points, it comes in every 4 months. Not only inconvenient, the 3rd 4 months will come when they charge for annual fee. If you don't pay annual fee. OK, your points are forfeited. Good gimmick. There are plenty of other true rewards cards available. DO your research and don't waste time trying to get rewarded with Woolies. I can live with a non-rewarding card, but I will not reward a financial institute who doesn't have sense of loyalty. They should already earned several thousands of card processing fee because of my purchase. But sorry, no more.- 23 reviews

Check the fine print
I considered transfering a balance to woolworths credit card. Found out that until the full transfered balance was repaid I would be paying 19% on purchases and 21% on cash advances. Makes the 14 months interest free period pale into insignificance...

Totally satisfied
I was using my credit card for quite a few small transactions at Maccas and within minutes Woolworths Card Services were ringing to ensure it was legitimate use. I am very impressed. Same thing happened several years ago and it was fraudulent use so I’m particularly impressed with you. Such a good feeling to be secure.
The points system is a nice bonus as I receive a small gift card every few months for simply using my card. Great product

Easy to apply for the credit card online
Applied on line which was relatively simple. The following day I was asked to provide evidence of my income which I did by sending PDF documents. Within 5 days my new credit card was approved and the following week the card arrived in the mail. Couldn't be happier with the process from start to finish. To date I have only used the card at Woolworths to purchase groceries, worked perfectly.
Approved, activated card, suddenly locked
Applied took over a month, did id verification at auspost, once i received card activated it, online said all good then suddenly temporarily locked. Customer service says they dont have pay slip...
How can you approve open account send card then assessing, this is ilegal according to consumer credit protection act.

Whats the point of your private message asking for details if you just ignore again, your treatment of people is disgusting
pool customer service and system
It's supposed to be a good card but the system is poorly designed. Legal team is horrible at its job to make sure all aspects are covered. 10% off monthly offer is not working because their email system is down. Overseas customer service team has no clue what's going on--lack of training or understanding the product
