Can I change the tap type on my zip hydro tap, would now prefer a different type to match the kitchen

It is quite possible that the tap you would like may be suitable for your current unit as most of the taps are interchangeable .

How do I fix a "dry boil protection" fault? Troubleshooting suggest power off and on again which we have tried repeatedly.

My Hydrotap HT3787Z3 which is now three years old has started running hot a few weeks ago to the point where it stops and the tap lights of blue and red remain lit. It is located under the kitchen sink so I open the doors, the unit cools down and it resets itself and functions as normal.
Nothing has changed like the daily temperature is less than 30 degrees, the installation location, filter (nine months old), CO2 (four months old), the cupboard vent is not blocked, there is nothing covering the unit etc etc.
Do you have any suggestions?

the boiler is 2 years old since installation.The water supply system is not connected to the filters.

I have a G3 and the cold water flow has become very slow and unit also makes a noise when used. Hot water is still ok. Filter is 213 days and usage is 1,227 litres. I’ve tried turning off at the power point but made no difference. Any clues?

i have a Zip Hydra tap red light flashing on & off had service on 02/07/19 &15/10 19 why? is this happening ?

Hi Jackie,

This indicates that the boiling water is below the desired temperature. Wait for the light to stop flashing before dispensing water. The flashing light will typically occur after switching on, or coming out of sleep mode.

Hot water stop running mid flow. Unit clicks when the button is depressed but no hot water comes out. Filter was replaced only 3 months ago and cold water valve was changed a month ago. I turned the unit off for 5 minutes but it made no difference to the hot water. Chilled water still comes out. There are no fault messages. Any advice?

Looking for some help, I have the latest Zip hydrotap boiling/chilled/sparkling and now up to my 3rd replacement unit . The compressor keeps overheating and consequently cannot use the tap unless I do a hard reset which then only solves the issues for a few hours . The unit is in a cupboard with the stated required clearances on both sides, top and bottom, I have installed vents in the cupboard and have also put 2 large holes in the side panel for further venting .

Zip have been very good in service calls and replacing the unit up until now . I have another replacement unit being installed tomorrow but looking for some advice should the issue continue as I spent over $4500 on this unit and have had nothing but issues since day 1. Previous to this unit I had the basic Zip boiling/chilled model and had no issues in 7 year . I’ve asked zip to replace with a different model which they have not done as yet .

Hi I have a Hydro Tap G4 BC160/125..
Recently it has been slow to dispense hot water, can usually be remedied by flicking tap to other way
(forward or rear)
Now it has ceased to dispense at all, I turned unit off overnight and back on in the morning,was working OK.
It has happened another 2 times now it won't work at all
The unit does not show any codes or faults.
I am assuming that it is the pump(again assuming the drive is magnetic)
Can anybody give suggestions as to repairs.

we have a 37677 zip boil/chill system which we bought for our home 8 years ago. In general has worked well with 2 service calls only. Replaced filter yesterday, flushed and worked fine for 4 hours then noticed the hot/cold/safety switches blinking in unison and unsure how to remedy this. Its never done this before. Consequently cannot dispense boiled or chilled water. I will switch off for 5 minutes to see if this fixes problem. Thanks

Thinking of buying the Chilled/Boiling/Sparkling unit. Does anyone know if the Chilled temperature can be adjusted so you get ambient temperature filtered water? Seems you can't buy a Ambient/Boiling/Sparkling unit, so keen to understand if the temperature can be adjusted for chilled.

My Zip HydroTap G4 stopped dispensing water. It is only a chilled filtered unit (product 0014AU). The menu showed filter required changing. I changed filter, and flushed the filter. Everything works except there is no water coming out of the tap (it flushes ok). Unit purchased June 2016 and have previously changed filter without problems. Can someone help please ?
