Where can I watch 4K content?

As you can see below, if you only plan on watching free-to-air TV and normal DVDs, then a 4K TV probably won't do you much good. If you currently use Netflix, Stan, or Foxtel, you may have to upgrade your subscription to a higher tier in order to access their 4K content.

SBS On Demand		A free platform, but it does not currently offer any 4K content.
ABC iView		A free platform, but it does not currently offer any 4K content.
Foxtel		Starting from October 2022, some live sport and entertainment will be offered in 4K, provided you are paying for an appropriate package (Can range from $89 to $139 per month).
Netflix		4K streaming is available only on the Premium plan ($17.99 per month). It is also recommended that you have an internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
Stan		4K streaming is available only on the Premium plan ($17 per month). It is also recommended that you have an internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
Apple TV+		Apple offers a single plan at only $7.99 per month and it includes 4K content.
Disney+		Disney+ offers a single plan at only $8.99 per month and it includes 4K content.
YouTube		Free! But it is recommended that you have an internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
DVD/Blu-Ray		A 4K DVD or Blu-Ray player is required, and movies typically retail for between $20 and $40.
