Easy Travel Cover!
I opted out of car rental insurance and went with travel insurance as it gives you many more options. Although I did not need to make a claim this cover was so easy to obtain via the internet and the price was very competitive. I will definitely use this company again when I travel next and refer them to friends and family.

I have used 1 cover varies times as the cost is reasonable & the cover on a hire vechile is great.

Very happy with 1Cover, would definitely use again.
I have used 1Cover twice, once for overseas trip and most recently for domestic travel in Australia. Normally I don't worry about travel insurance for domestic travel but because we were renting a car it was cheaper to buy domestic travel insurance rather than pay for the additional car rental insurance to reduce the excess, ie $81 for the 1Cover policy vs $125 for the car rental insurance AND there was NO excess on our 1Cover policy for Domestic rental car excess.

t and after claiming with 1Cover we had NO out of pocket expenses except for the policy. Had we purchased the reduction of the car rental excess it would have cost us $200 plus the policy of $125. Be aware however that if you take out your own insurance to cover the excess that if you have damage, the rental car company will immediately deduct the full excess from your credit card which in our case was $3500 plus a premium location surcharge (plus the rental). This can be a problem depending on the limit on the credit card. Another word of advice, always check the vehicle before you start the hire, we found damage to the roof of the vehicle before the hire which hadn't been previously reported.
