Not sure what has happened to this company but it is becoming frustrating. Wanted to buy some new poles for my swag and jumped online to find they were only available to buy instore. Contacted the online help to ask if there was stock in my local QLD store but was told no stores had stock but only the Brisbane Distribution Centre had stock. Asked if I could purchase online then seeing as stores had no stock but the warehouse did and was told no but if I gave my phone number they could ring me and order over the phone and send to me. I also ask...
Read moreed if they could be sent to my local store for collection but was told no. Not sure why it is so hard if at first they are advertised to be bought instore only, if not in store but in warehouse wouldn't that be the reason to buy online? Also why would they need to ring me to make purchase when I am already chatting to them online? I mean what a lot of confusion to buy something seriously. In the end I have no poles and they have no sale, how is this good commerce.
Hi Mia, Well that is a big contradiction, you probably have just increased the confusion for other readers. Did you even read my review or understand it? You say that you can only buy the poles onlin...
Read moree and that the stores don't sell spare parts in store yet your web page clearly states "in-store only". You say to contact you prior, to find out if there is stock in my local store, which I have said I did in my review. I was told no store in Qld had stock only your distribution centre carries stock. I asked if I can buy online to which I was told "No". You have said that parts don't get delivered to stores only to an address directly via the distribution centre. So explain to me here, without the confusion, how this is meant to be done on your website if it has "in-store only"? You have admitted here in your response that you have literally falesy advertised on your website so I have a right mind to report you to the ACCC for false advertising. If someone wasn't confused yet they surely would be from your awkward frustrating customer service and you have pretty well just convinced me to shop with more reputable companies who actually can sell products to customers and just not give out poor excuses that don't alleviate the confusion.Ordered a king swag from the online store.
Opened the swag several days prior to our trip, only to find that one of the poles was already broken.
When contacting customer service we were told there was nothing they could do, except to have us to drive 2 hours to the store.
Even though we had paid for delivery, we were told the compensation could not be guaranteed.
A terrible experience with this company, ruining what should have been an exciting time.

Ordered a kids paddle board for my son for Christmas and the paddle was missing. Put in a claim for the missing paddle. Paddle was delivered..... it was an adults paddle. Another claim has been lodged and I was told it will be sent "once they get to it"
It is just really frustrating that I am now waiting weeks to receive an item that was missing in the first place. My son now cannot take his board on holidays as we still don't have the correct paddle.
Hi there,
We would like to apologize for your recent experience, and we are sorry to hear you were less than satisfied with us. I can see this was rectified today and a new paddle is on its way to you...
Unfortunately the paddle is not on its way to me, it has been sitting as waiting to be collected for over a week now.

Hi Geoff,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review, we appreciate your feedback!

We bought a Roof-top tent with the 6 man annex, it leaked, like majorly, so processed the return, asked to take a photo of the tag that's inside the unit, there wasn't one, went into the Browns Plains store.
Went to the front of the line, it's a return, deal it it asap, a customer with a return is, get it processed for them asap as far as I'm concerned,
Was told to stand in the main line, if it was a returns line then so be it but, that dam line can take forever to move...
I asked for a manager and was accussed of being hostile and so, manager said same,
So, got to the front desk, process it, was informed that the sticker they needed to process the return usually falls off...
Yay, their returns is crap...

recieved and email promotion on 28/12/21 for 2.5 x2.5 awning with light and mounting brackets for 134.95. went to store was told it was online delivery only after i was told they could do the bundle for 144.95. i called the call centre was told it’s not in stock at the store i was at that’s why i could not get that price. i emailed my complaint to the company and was told a third story that it was a discontinued item that’s why it was not available. i have screen shots and emails. beware of this company and their tactics. they get you in and sell you the same thing for more money. will not use this company ever again.

I spent over $1100 on parts for my ute, including a set of Titan drawers. I was given a set of wings to match the drawers by a friend who had sold his car before installing them. The box was unopened and brand new. However there were 6 screws missing from the set, which means I cannot finish the install.
I emailed 4WDSC about this, and they said they wanted the order number for the wings, and a letter from my friend confirming transfer of warranty. My mate works up north in the mines and comes home very 4 weeks, and i cannot contact him when h...

On 4.12.21 I called to follow up as only one item was received. They checked it out and courier RTS so they agreed we could pick up the items in store. Only thing is they sent them again and we couldn’t pick them up. When we called they were very unhelpful. We waited and this time some of the items arrived but the most expensive ones were RTS by their courier again. Again we called this time asking for a refund. This process has been painful. Picked up an item instore, was priced lower than on website, cashier charged full website price, and would not try to rectify discrepancy, even though I alerted her to the difference, only I needed items, I would have left them on the counter, I wrote an email to service and support and they were less than helpful, it is not the dollar amount that is an issue, it is the unhelpful and less than caring attitude of the staff members in question. I won't be buying anything from here in the future.

Wouldn’t it be nice after being a slow learner you gave them a second try and they got it right - but no, bought two items one delivered. Then the journey starts where is it ? when will it come ? stuff it just give my money back ! Ok we’ll look into that, two weeks later no goods - no money.

I called to find out if a particular item was in stock at a particular store. Was advised that it wasn't but a different sized one was. I told the cs rep that I would pop in store and grab it. She was really helpful and offered to do a click and collect order for me so that it was there and ready to just walk in and pick up. I thought, fair enough, that's a good idea. For the record, it was a REALLY STUPID IDEA!
We processed the order and I was charged $235 for the goods.
Upon arriving at the store I was asked to produce a copy of my p...
Read morehoto id for them to TAKE A COPY OF (In case you're wondering, this is not legal for this type of business in Australia) I told them no, I would not be providing this. I had the receipt of payment. They said that this wasn't enough, they needed something else to prove it was me as they may have copied my email wrong and sent it to the wrong person. (It is their responsibility to ensure that they get this right in the first place!) I advised them that they had my phone number from the call as a second form of ID so they should just call that to prove it was me. No this was not enough. Or I could produce the card that was charged as evidence for my purchase - to which I was advised that they don't record any card details at all - don't know what kind of antiquated system they are running in 2021. The last 4 digits is standard practise for all VISA/Mastercard POS technology as proof of payment. So I said I could show them the transaction in my statement. No that wasn't good enough either. They had to take a copy of my government issued photo id. Makes you wonder what they use it for doesn't it since they were so insistent on this illegal practise? So I decided to ask for a refund.Hi there,

Ordered the wrong sized roof bag on a Sunday - living in a small town about 1 hour’s drive west of Dubbo, NSW. Noticed the mistake and early the next day checked the status of the order online. It was still in the warehouse (had not been collected by the couriers for delivery) so called them to rectify the problem. Was told that because a consignment note had been issued nothing could be done - i.e. we had to wait until the package was delivered and then go through the returns process for a store credit which could be used to purchase the corre...
Read morect size. I explained that there were 2 problems with this process: [1] we needed the bag quite urgently and due to our remote location and the logistics delay (COVIDF and Xmas rush) we were unlikely to get the correct bag in time [2] the smaller bag was cheaper and I was unlikely going to be able to use the remaining credit since I have never shopped with them before and probably would have no future need (I explained that I’m 75 years old) Still no empathy and willingness to assist - essentially told “suck it up old man” I returned the bag after receiving it and requested in the return form for a refund and not a store credit (explaining why). I called customer service and spoke to a representative some days later who confirmed the bag had been received, it was in good condition and that a refund had been approved. I was pleased to receive this information. Subsequently got an email from a more senior person in Customer Service who advised that there was no refund but there was a store credit.Hi there,

Products are hit and miss with quality, customer service product warranty is the worst I’ve seen in a while.
Products are hit and miss with quality, seems like cheap Chinese manufacturing, cheaper to purchase via eBay and get the same results for cheaper. Customer service is a 0 star ⭐️ as it’s non existent. Two warranty enquires lodged over 2 months no reply from either.
Make sure to report dangerous products via the link below ACCC. Based on numerous comments, it seems like this company might be getting away with breaking certain trading laws and legislations within Australia.

I ordered an awning and associated products. Before purchasing, I asked if the product is being shipped from within NZ so not to get delayed by shipping. Firstly I was disappointed to find one part of the order being shipped from Brisbane, then it sits for two weeks at Toll locally. This was compounded when a courier delivered one box and said the others were still at the depot and would be delivered sometime soon. The final straw is you can't get through to customer services and this business only communicates with its customers via chat. I've subsequently unsubscribed and no longer will deal with them.

I bought a gazebo that was advertised as weatherproof. Even though it was new it had holes in it. Took it back to store and was advised it was a bad batch with machine holes in it. Replaced but with same holes. Replace again but still with holes. Asked for money back and was advised by store manager that it would happen. That was back in September and still has not happened despite regular contact with the store manager. I would not purchase anything from this company.

I bought an air compressor from 4wd Supacentre ebay store last week. Firstly the courier tracking was inaccurate and completely wrong.
Also when my item arrived I had opened the package only 30mins after it arrived and found it was damaged. It looked like it was opened then resealed. See photos. When I opened it I then found the air pressure gauge is damaged. Looks like its been crushed. See photos. Dishonest business practice with false advertising …. Sick of driving there (Kilburn) to purchase an advertised product only to arrive (same day) and they have changed the price… it seems they put the price up when they are running low on stock … Have been burnt multiple times … never again …. Read mores they have changed the price by the time I get there (same day) and one of these was a significant purchase. When I question them they delete the add. Not only that they have restricted me on their Facebook page so I can’t post (I only sent them a private message advising of the problems). Extremely poor business practice. Incredibly arrogant. I guess they don’t realize there are other options out there (XTM/Dune/Kickarse) and sometimes at a better price and quality. Happy to provide a screenshot of their add and response.Hi there,

The kings 4x4 centre in Coffs Harbour has to be the best layer out store of them all. You can actually see the products that you are buying and the staff are very helpful. I have been to a few stores and the worst is on the Gold Coast. Great store Coffs Harbour keep it up.

these guys are making it basically impossible to return an item if it's unpacked. The packaging is only a box needed for shipping though with the product code on it. "if the box is damaged or opened, the item can't be returned anymore."
even though the product was falsely advertised on their homepage.
saved myself the dramas to fight these guys and resold the item cheap. lost 200 bucks but that's ok.
Will never buy from 4WDSupacentre again.

I have now bought 2 of these Kings 3 x 6m Gazebo replacement covers over the last 18 months. The first replacement cover wasnt made of the same heavy duty vinyl as the original cover. It was 3/4's of the weight of the original and therefore didn't last as long. Secondly, it was extremely hard to fit as it was slightly smaller in its dimensions. I would say it was at least 4 cm too short in the length x width fit.
