Fantastic coffee machine! Love it
I bought this after advice from others and it is fantastic!
The taste of the pods I buy is always very consistent and is available at aldi regularly.
The machine also dubs as a hot water maker for fast hot water instead of boiling it.
Cleaning is easy or buy the pods cleaners to clean.
It hasn't broken down at all!!

Amazing as most Aldi products
Great machine which is easy to clean, and produces coffee which generally corresponds to the price - you get what you pay for. Although not used as often as it used to be in our household, it is good to occasionally put to use. Best thing to make in it are chai lattes - from Aldi capsules.

Perfect cheap coffee
there are too many flavors and only one that taste a good real coffee. You have to spend a lot of money to try them all until you found the one that you like most. Once you found the one, then the coffee is considerably cheap. It is easy to use and clean.

Super easy to use.
The Expressi Machine is so easy to use I couldn't resist. Always reliable for taste, cheaper than most other models, plenty to love.
Probably what I like the most of all is the look, it's squared design looks sharp in modern kitchens but doesn't stick out either, just neat and sharp. Awesome product.

Great machine
I was a bit skeptical about this machine and the quality of coffee when I first got it. However, it exceeded my expectations! Easy to use, easy to clean and at a great price! Am glad my friend recommended this to me and I trusted him! Can't go a day without a coffee now.

Great value and easy to use!
A simple and easy to use machine that makes consistently good coffee. Sure, it’s not as good as a barista coffee, but it is 10x better than a cup of instant coffee. In fact, we even take it on holidays with us so we can enjoy a nice coffee in the comfort of our room.
No issues with leaking as mentioned by other reviewers, make sure you have the handle in the lowered position with flushing it with water after making a cup and this should avoid any water leaks.

Didn't love it
Bought this for work but it only lasted about 6months before we started having problems with it. Previously we'd had the older style expressi machine which was great - and had hundreds of uses without issue. Thought we'd upgrade to the newer style, but haven't been happy with this one. We ended up going back to the old style again.
This one didn't seem to puncture the coffee pods after a while - and you have to hold down the lever whilst the water pours through.

Nice coffee but bad for the environment
This machine from Aldi makes nice coffee & is easy to use but capsules are so bad for the environment so Im going back to the older style machine. These capsules are now more expensive than initially. My husband & i were using $20 worth of capsules a week (3 coffees each per day =about $3 perday x 7 days). Its actually a lot cheaper to buy a bag of coffee beans, grind them in your food processor & use them in the older style coffee machine or plunger. Aldi should at least set up a way for customers to return their used coffee pods for recycling. If the pods were biodegradable & cheaper i would consider going back to using the pods just for the convenience of having no mess.

Great addition to my morning routine
This is my second pod machine and as I can compare it does compare very well. There is a variety of pods to suit every taste and they are always available. The price is cheaper than Nespresso pods as well. I also purchased a milk frother and it is just the best in comparison with Nespresso which is too small. This one is large and can easily make 2-4 cups of coffee with milk. I cannot see any problem cleaning this machine. It is very easy

Love this machine
Easy to use, there are a great range of capsules that can be used. Easy waste removal, and makes a good cup of coffee as well as other non caffeineated drinks. The water tank has a fairly large capacity as well. Good price if you're looking for a fairly decent coffee capsule machine.

Great Little Machine
Very happy with this little coffee machine, works as good as goose. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. You can have your coffee in less than a minute with pressing a couple of buttons, it is that easy. Probably makes a great Christmas gift idea too. Thumbs up.

Love it!
We have owned both the 2017 edition and the 2015 edition. The new one is much better, as it doesn’t leak and is much easier to clean. The pod’s compartment is slightly small and can sometimes get stuck but overalll this is a well made machine. The coffee comes out with crema and is hot, and the selection of pods is pretty decent. Obviously, it won’t make barista quality coffee, but it definitely makes a decent cuppa.

The best Pod machine
This is one of the best investment I made. Buying the Aldis Coffee machine.
So easy to use.
Just a touch of a button and coffee is made.
Lots of varieties, from Hot Chocolate, Caramel Hot Chocolate, strong coffee upto 13.
And it gives you a 60day back guarantee.
Love my coffee machine.
Easy to clean.

Makes a great coffee!
This is the second expressi machine I have bought.. I have had a few issues with the pod sometimes getting stuck, and sometimes the coffee doesn’t dispense, so a pod is wasted, but apart from that, I love the variety of pods, and the great taste. I actually prefer the older model, it was a lot sturdier.

Cant wake up without my coffee
I brought this machine for my husband for his birthday, now I cant live without it. Broke down after 11 months but had no issues in getting it replaced. Love the variety of coffee capsules can go from strong to weak. I also brought the milk frother to top it off.

About to request our second replacement
We are on our second machine, due to the first machine not cracking the pods properly. On a positive note, there were no issues with getting a replacement. On the down side, 10 months in and this one has started to randomly pour the coffee into the pod bin and the level is sometimes hard to manoeuvre. We will hope for third time lucky.

Good "cheap" coffee machine.
I love the fact that it works with other brands that have similar sized pods. Makes a decent cup of coffee and is easy to clean and maintain. The shape of it is a bit awkward and bulky which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Really can't complain for this price point.

Good Product for the Price
Aldi have made a no frills coffee machine that works well the majority of the time but sometimes the pods can get jammed every now and then. The actual coffee tastes great and Aldi offer a good variety to choose from with varying strengths to suit strong to mild coffee drinkers. Really easy to use this coffee machine.

Questions & Answers
Bethasked
I was unable to remove the used pod container from my machine for many months, & eventually stopped trying. After about a year of disuse, I mentioned the problem to someone, this afternoon, & showed them how the container is supposed to be removed, so they could have a go, and as I did so, the container just came straight out, no problems! I gather it was because the coffee had become totally dehydrated over time, and so the pods had shrunk back down, so they no longer filled the available space...!
Anyway, I plugged my machine back in, filled up the water container, and tried to run the clean water through the machine. Although the 3 lights came on, then 2 went off (as they’re supposed to) leaving the milk/rinse button’s light on, when I pressed the button, nothing happened. I’ve tried all 3 buttons, and have tried with & without a pod in the machine, but nada! It doesn’t make a sound, either, so the water isn’t even heating up! Any suggestions as to what the problem might be, or how I might be able to get my Expressi machine working again?
Any help would be much appreciated!

How old is the machine ? Honestly from your story you probably need to go out and buy a new machine. Especially if it is not under warranty anymore. I have just bought the latest machine at Aldi and it is fabulous ! A lot quieter than the original one I purchased a few years back.

I suggest buying some descaler, it's not dear. Fill up your reservoir with water and a cap of descaler, the coffee residue builds up, thus blocking the flow. I hope this helps you.
Thank you so much for your prompt response! It started to work again after it had been turned off for a while, but I suspect it does need descaling as we have never done that up till now (unlike the Caffitaly we used to have that just seized up until you followed the laborious descaler process on a monotonously regulaf basis)!!l Really appreciate your help.
