This is incredible
i felt good overall with the OSHC student cover. i did applied it this year 2020 beginning before i came to australia (canberra) to sudy at university of canberra. overall, my claim resolved at 10 working days.

Excellent, very like the service
it Is easy to set up. Once made a claim, it usually takes 10 days to process. It is very good for overseas student, and the service is really nice.

This was a TERRIBLE health care experience
I paid up front for 4 years of student health care while I was studying in Australia. The entire time I was I was told my service would end in April 2020, including on my online member account and on my insurance card, as well as receiving emails advising me my cover expires in April 2020. As such, when the date rolled around I started a new insurance just before my OSHC was to expire. Weeks later I find out Allianz stopped my insurance in March 2020 and I have been living without insurance for weeks. I called multiple times to have this sorted...Read more
out and I was continuously hand balled off to new people and hung up on. No one would help me and all I would ever get from them was "I should have read the small print and it's my responsibility to pay attention to those details" I find it shocking to intentionally deceive customers, especially considering I am willing to pay whatever to keep my insurance continued and money is not an issue. I simply want to be properly covered. The costumer service has been horrible and they have been deceiving and unwilling to work with me. I now will not be allowed another visa in Australia because of this and have to be on a year old waiting period for all my previous ailments. I am disgusted with this company and would not recommend to anyone.1 comment

Terrible response rate
As much as I would like to agree that Allianz has a really good policy for students, their responses to customers are horrible. I understand that this is a hard time for everyone, however, I have been trying to get a refund for my health policy since February 2020 and they are still unable to solve it or give a response to the emails sent out!! Very bad service!!!

they always pay me back
Allianz always reimbursed my claim for specialists treatments promptly.
I also like that I can see my GP of choice all the time for free which helped with me dealing with my chronic illness.
Would definitely recommend them for international students.

This afternoon I made a call to Allianz OSHC through this number (136742), and I was very thankful for the amazing customer service provided by one of your staff (Kiyomi E). Kiyomi has worked assiduously, patiently and thoroughly to ensure that I am fully informed of what steps I should take after this call. At first, I was very hesitant to make a call as I thought it would be such a long and complicated process. I have been with Allianz more than 10 years. Since last 2-3 they have been providing terrible services. Specially, when I launched claim they were keep asking back dates documents which I dont suppose to provide them. I claimed my medical expenses which was on 2018 but they need my visa in between 2013-2016. Today I replied back email and mentioned clearly if you keep doing to avoid not accepting claim. I have to informed ombudsman resolves disputes. Please be aware they are
1) Hard get claim
2) Unprofessional employees because they are handling from overseas.
3) Prepare to waste time to get the claim.
4) Cannot claim personally. We need to claim through app online which is terrible.
5) There is no dedicate department to claim because everything is online.
6) You have waste time to inform everyone on public domain as well as fight back along with ombudsman.
7)When you will launch claim in person make sure atleast you should have 2-3 hours because I was 3 in queue and got my turn after 1 hour.
note :- This is all the problem I am facing so far. I am sure there are soo many people facing problem because this week when I went there office for launching claim i had been informed that I can only claim through app.
