We have needed to use Appliance Care Specialists three times on three different machines and they have been wonderful. Good communication and have been very flexible with me as I work full time and they have tried to work around my schedule. They were clear and upfront on costs and options. Highly recommend.

I wish to advise that I had one of your service guys come over to have a look at my dishwasher the other day as it came up with an e24 error. Your "technician" advised that the unit was not worth repairing as he claimed that the wash pump was faulty/noisy and to replace the entire dishwasher and happily took my $165 and took off. I was in the process of taking his advice and replacing it but then decided to investigate the "faulty motor" myself and removed it from the unit only to find debris on the impeller so I cleaned it out. I'm annoyed at how an "expert" can easily write off an appliance without the extra effort of investigating further as to why the error appeared and the giveaway clue of a noise in the motor while it was running. I would have been happy to pay more if he had the time and effort to repair it there and then instead of him taking the easier option not to bother, write off and move on to the next victim to charge another $165. It would have saved me a lot of time and money getting a new unit (if I had to)! Very bad customer service
I had problem with my dishwasher. They came and inspected and charged 165 dollars. Technician said one part need replacing. There team will contact me with in few days with a price for part. No one contacted so I called them then they send me a quote. I paid 155 dollars for parts and there manager said 3 to 4 working days they will get part. After nearly 2 weeks i did not receive any call. They have call centre overseas when ever we call them they say I will pass the message to our manager. I had to make so many calls to get a technician home in the end. Please do not use this people waste of your time.

The quoting system for the parts is outdated. I waited two days to get the quote and then rang and the quote arrived on the third day. Phoned to accept the quote, this being a Saturday, left a message and no response. Phoned on the Monday and it was being looked in to. Was called back within the hour and if I paid for the part it would be on a 5pm pickup from Melbourne and delivered to Sydney on the Wednesday or Thursday but I will call you on Wednesday with an update I was told. day but was expected to arrive that day. A time was made to have the part installed on the Friday between 9-11am. Technician called at 10.55am to say he was on his way. He arrived around 11.20am. Tried to install the part but did not have the correct tool to remove something from the old motor to the new motor. He said he had two jobs to do and would go and do them and then run past his place to pick up the required tool and come back here. A couple of hours he said. I figured it would be more than that as he was going into the city, but hey he said they would be quick jobs. He called me at 4.55pm to say he had picked up the tool and he was on his way. Going on for nearly 5.30pm when he arrived. All smiles & chatting and when I said you must hav3 had some bad traffic he said that he was given two more jobs and so he did them before coming to fix my machine. Really? After all the crap I put up with, he did two more jobs before fixing my machine. Bad customer service but was redeemed only then to be let down again by the office and then the technician. I wish I had read the reviews first. I don’t like reviews normally as each person has their own views on efficiency. The reviews on this company are accurate.Similar opinion? Never Use This Company
Do not use this company! I was charged $165 for someone to come out and look at my oven, and was then told what parts I needed. It then took 3 weeks for the parts to arrive. After organising a time with the technician to fit the parts between 12 and 6, he didn't show. This happened 3 times. Eventually he appeared with the parts but still was unable to fix the oven. He then told me that another part was needed!!! I've contacted management, but after a month of waiting for my oven to be fixed, am so unimpressed. Save your money and time and go elsewhere!

our control as we are at the mercy of suppliers, however i am very concerned at the claims of our technician not showing up without advising you 3 times. Practical prompt and economical assistance
Your technician was prompt resourceful and extremely practical. He improvised a replacement connection for the handle on a De Longhi oven door (model N18423)

Very poor results
Called them in 4 times to fix our Miele dishwasher. Each time they ordered a new part at some considerable expense and several weeks delivery each time. Currently nearly $600 later the dishwasher is still not fixed so have had to contact the manufacturer direct.

Wouldn't use this company
In September 2017 we requested a service call as our Fisher and Paykel fridge kept on beeping. [name removed] attended and said we need a new door switch controller and charged the $165 call out fee. His temporary repair was to tape the controller closed so that the fridge did not beep anymore. After a few days we called [name removed] only to be told that the part was no longer available and there was nothing he could do about it. Eventually we called another service person who found the part for us at a cost of $14 and replaced it for a call ...Read more

Scam, don't use this company
Sent a so called technician, didn't fix the fridge and charged me $165 for the service call fees. And tell me will come next time and charge labor again. Didn't even provide me an invoice.

ned to you on the phone and also in writing prior to the technician attending. It is impossible to carry all parts for all appliances around without being in a semi trailer. If the technician did not provide you with an invoice i am happy to send one to you and also investigate why you were not provided with one. Terrible company
They just want you to pay the call out fee withtout fixing anything. they never carried spare parts but their trick is to say that "they dont have that particular part".
they dont really care about the customer, dont even want to take in account the customer's description of the problem as their business is to charge the call out fee, overprice the spare parts and to walk away
Basically what they do can be done by anyone just by watching few videos in youtube. if you cant fix your appliance after watching a video in youtube, this company wont do it either.

Don’t use this company!
Called them in the morning about our broken washing machine they told us they told us between 11am and 1pm. It’s now 3.38pm and no one has come or even called us. Not sure how they run a business but i’ll Make sure everyone I know does NOT use them!!

Scam!!! Reporting To The Office Of Fair Trading
This is a scam!!! Please do not use them. Called about a broken dishwasher. Guy came and didn't really know what he was doing. He pulled out the dishwasher, played about and put it back together. Dishwasher seemed to work so i paid him the $165 call out fee and he left. 30mins later the dishwasher stopped working again. Called him and he said the office would call me back. They never did. I called the office and they said they would send someone by 2pm next day. No one turned up. Called again and they said they would get someone to call me back. No one called. So now I'm calling the office of fair trading, the ACCC and Small Claims.

Do not deal with this company
I had a specific problem which I defined clearly part serial number etc sent photos etc. Asked that they source part as it's clearly broken. Machine is current model. Not rocket science
I never got a response I followed up 5 times and each time it was like a new experience I was dealing with the Service manager and not call centre but it was like each call was the first time I spoke with them. I persevered because I was travelling and assumed incorrectly they were sourcing the part but my mistake. Suspect not much more than a strong web presence. Don't touch them ever.

I called these guys for an urgent fix of a hotplate that causes some short circuit which trips the power in the unit. Got an appointment after 2 days and a guy came over. He look at the stove and started to do some tests with a multimeter. Buy the look of what he was doing, I started feeling like this guy doesn't know what he was doing. He opened the hotplate and was telling me that the design is too complex and parallel, as he could not figure out where the cause of short circuit after so many "multi meter tests". After sometime he concluded that we need to replace it. He had a torch and it was not working. He doesn't have the battery to replace it!!! He attended multiple calls while he is doing the job and wasted the time. Finally charged me $165 for doing nothing. Later I got someone from StoveDoctor and a guy came over. The moment he started the job, we could tell how confident he is in his job. He just opened the input wiring and within a minute he showed me where the insulation of two wired were broken and touching each other to crate a short circuit. Most of the time these guys come over for only the minimum fixed charge and not interested in fixing anything unless the guy has some real interest in his job. What a waste...!6 comments

Do not bother
Whilst on the phone arranging a next day service, holding the broken outlet pipe in my hand, I was surprised that the technician didn’t want the model number. When I informed him of the model number and the part I required, he said the technician would have that part.
When they rang to say they were coming- yep you guessed it, they were only coming to see what part they needed! It was going to cost me $150 for them to tell me what part I needed when I held the offending part in my hand.
This isn’t a next day service, nor a very honest one.
My advice- find someone else.

Fridge service
Enjoyed wonderful fast efficient service from Scotty, he sourced the problem quickly, got us up and running temporary until parts arrived, came on a weekend to install new parts and we were back in business with cold beer in our fridge, it was a pleasure to deal with a tradesman that had experience and a willing to help

Ever worst service ..smart scammers !!!
Called them to book a service for my fridge, the guy even arrived late also didn't know what he is doing as spend 1hr looking here and there, later he said that it may need a new mother board or compressor, 2 weeks and still waiting now without any reply .. rang the company and they said the supplier don't have the part needed where I asked to cancel the job after giving up .. asked for the refund of the service but never been paid back .. Iam going to fair trading to lodge a complain .. the worst service i been given during all my life .. wish I read these reviews before !!!
