AWNAustralian Warranty Network

Hi Daryl,

AWN provides you the flexibility to have your vehicle servicing carried out at a licensed workshop of your choice e.g. your local service centre or franchise dealership. It is only when you have a potential claim that we will direct you to an AWN approved repairer to have the problem assessed. Please refer to your mechanical breakdown product terms and conditions to confirm your servicing obligations.

Hi Daryl,
As mentioned by AWN Customer Support, if you are making a claim, it's preferred that you use an AWN approved repairer to have the problem assessed and/or repaired.
In my case, I live in remote SA and there are no AWN approved repairers in the area where I live so AWN kindly accepted a local mechanic to do the work.

Hi Arif,

Congratulations on your new motor vehicle purchase.
From the information you have provided it is difficult to tell what product options the motor dealer is making available to you, we would suggest you speak directly to the motor dealer to discuss the available warranty options for your make and model of motor vehicle.

Prior to purchasing an AWN warranty policy:

If you are considering purchasing an AWN warranty product, prior to committing to a purchase you should review each coverage options available to you. Consider a product that provides the best covered component coverage that meets your budget and vehicle criteria, (for example our Extension of Mechanical Warranty provides our most comprehensive coverage) read the Product Disclosure Statement, Terms and Conditions to confirm you understand what is included and, what is not included in the cover and what is required to maintain your chosen warranty. Like any insurance product, there are many levels of cover, ask the selling Dealer as many questions about the product you feel necessary until you feel informed enough to making a decision to purchase.

Tip: If you have questions, make a list, write them down and take them with you to the Motor Dealership.
