Great staff

Went in to buy a set up for chasing flathead, specifically with lures.
Young bloke there, at the McGraths hill store was awesome.
Can't remember his name, but he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Really helped me out with choosing a setup in my budget and learned
heaps from him in the 30-40min I spent there.
Thanks BCF McGraths hill, can't wait to try the new setup.


Online order never received

I placed an online order for a gift card which hadn't arrived after 10 days. I called to find out why and wasn't given a reason but was told they could resend it. I told them it was too late and asked for a refund, which I would have to wait 3-7 days for.
There should be some sort of check system to ensure orders are sent.
BCF sent me a link to submit a survey which I did, and because it was a bad review it was removed! So obviously the only reviews you will see on their website are good ones.

Recieved a call from BCF to pick up an item I had purchased over a month prior.
Organised time to collect, attended Mcgraths hill BCF. Staff weren’t very friendly but helped with signing off purchase. Left with item but decided not to return or use BCF again due to poor customer service..

Payment fails Money taken

Went online to purchase a gazebo got all the way to payments put all my details in for it to say the payment details were wrong but then checked my bank account and the payment had come out. I rang BCF for them to tell me it failed and they will try return the funds.
I think BCF have issues that they need to look into and stop blaming the customers.
I will not purchase anything again. Very poor.

Dont buy from this crap company their prices are far too high the staff are rude and arrogant and have no knowledge of a lot of there products (most of them ) and those ridiculous and offensive tv ads that's turned me off permanently there's plenty of decent camping and fishing stores out there with great prices and quality products that's where I'll be going NOT BCF Cheers Happy camping

Rude staff and don't give refunds on faulty products

Purchased a blow up mattress that was supposed to be the same as the display model, when I went to use it, it wouldn't inflate properly so I took it back to get a refund. They proceeded to test it out and they could see for themselves it wasn't inflating the same as the display model. They said oh that's fine nothing wrong with it and would not refund or give store credit. I have not been back since and would encourage others to shop elsewhere. I am also disgusted in the highly anoying advertisement on tv that they keep playing.

Tried to purchase items on the website got all the way through for it to say the payment has not gone through to check payment settings. Checked my bank and yep the money has come out not once but twice. Rang the number to be told yes the payment had come through but was reversed but they could not tell me why. The money has not been returned to my bank and was told payments are completed by a 3rd party and they didn't know why it hasn't worked. I asked for the 3rd party details and was told they didn't know who it was and I have to contact my bank. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Will not be purchasing anything again.

Bunch of B C F-reaking fools

BCF are a very good example of a purely profit driven business that has contempt for its customers. Every time I have been there I am appalled at their prices and arrogance. Recently I bought a camping light and it lasted a week - I really don't know how they stay in business - their only goal seems to be to make the most offensive ads on TV in an attempt to brainwash the population - I hope they go broke - stay away people....!

I bought a Waeco CF40 fridge Freezer as I’m an interstate truck driver
I purchased it in Townsville BCF it’s had a week and a half of use it’s not cooling on 12v
I took it to my local store in Hoppers Crossing with the receipt and they want nothing to do with it trying to handball it off to a dealer in Geelong and they want me to take it to Geelong.
I thought as I purchased it from BCF it’s there responsibility to send it off to be looked at and repaired or replaced and they won’t give a refund either they want absolutely nothing to do with it.
I will never buy nor recommend BCF to any of my friends or family very disappointed in there customer service


Excellent customer service and product knowledge

I visited BCF Port Adelaide last night for their memebers night and truly walked out feeling very satisfied. I purchased a brand new Gen Black Wicked Weasel rod, Stradic C14+ 3000 reel and some Shimano braid as a part of a package. I was assisted by a very helpful and knowledgeable employee, Andy, who made some useful recommendations. Most importantly, I was able to get the rod I wanted as a part of the package with no issues whatsoever.
I ended up saving around $200 as a result of the deal they had going on, which I was extremely pleased about. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the staff and their customer service, and will certainly return to shop there in the future.


Lack of knowledge unhelpful staff

Been to my local BCF 3 times, 1st time staff we're in no hurry in offering assistance only 2 people in store, then had to wait for
3 different staff to tell me which life vest was right for my grandson who was there with me to try on, 2nd time bought 3 packs of soft plastics with 2 pack completely no good all kinked tails,3rd time told we don't fill gas bottles in the rain (they have cover over gas station?) and rain had stopped, so was told to go to bunnings after driving 20 mins to get there as they swap bottles, yes they do but at double the price. I was looking forward to my birthday BCF gift cards this week now i think they will be ANACONDA ones.

How rude. Not just another staff member but the manager. Service is not high priority here as I was treated badly. Came to return a product and other customers were served before me even though I was there and waited politely to be served.

I purchased a Garmin gps chart plotter on line in last weekends big sale and now 4 days latter I get a call saying it’s not available . The rep said I could have a shop display model without the box but I am uncomfortable with this as it’s not what I paid eight hundred bucks for . The rep is ringing around to try and find me a new one however he hasn’t called back . If he can’t get one what are my options? Should I try and get a refund or maybe an upgrade ?

BCF price matched a gas refill with Anaconda last time I went in there and the next time I went in they stated that gas refills were exempt from their price matching policies and they would only price match "in the area". As if LPG isn't enough of a ripoff as it is. In NZ you CAN legally fill your gas bottle at the service station. Here in Aus were being bent over by companies all the time.... I argued that the nearest BCF was doing the refills for 25% less, but they still charged more... I hate it when customer loyalty programms don't provide a benefit. no club discount on Gas refills, but they still ask for your BCF card... I have NEVER received a benefit from the BCF card.... Nor have I recieved a discount at Rivers, for that matter...
