Must have for parents with tiles and young kids

Bissell vs kartcher. Hands down bissell wins.
Pros: you don’t have to pre-sweep the floor, cleaning system is easy to clean out after you use it, picks up everything but the dried on food
Cons: leaves an inch around the skirtingboards, solution is streaky (use the kartcher fluid instead)
AMAZING!!!!!

very good product

we purchased this machine as we have a dog that leaves lots of fur on our glossy sealed wooden floors .The first time use was not an outstanding success, but after rereading the instructions and following closely much better results after around 5-6 uses it now does a superior job.I think it was to do with previous product residue and user error . Again all is good a fine investment.

I love cleaning now

published

Hey, who loves cleaning not me lol. But if I can make the job easier in any way I don't mind. Purchased this model from Harvey Norman to replace my broken steam cleaner. It is fantastic. You should see the water that comes out in other end. Easy to maneuver and maintain. It picks up all my dog's hair too without winding it all up on the roller. It is so easy to store and my floors haven't looked this clean in long time.

I purchased the Mop around 6 months ago. When using the mop, after around 15 minutes the mop head goes into overdrive and quite a bit of water starts to spill onto my floors. The mop suction is unable to pick the water up, as it can be quite substantial. I exchanged the mop just recently for another, and the replacement does exactly the same thing. Has anyone else found this to be an issue and why?

It sounds like the dirty tank is full? The machine gears up in sound and automatically shuts off the suction when the bin is full. Try to keep an eye on the full line marked on the dirt tank. Once the bin is emptied the machine will resume as normal. Make sure you check and clean your filters (like with any vacuum cleaner really), and use the cleaning tray supplied regularly to maintain the machine and keep it performing well. Hope that helps?

I change the dirty tank after each mop and it is only ever 1/4 full. So not sure that is the issue, although going forward, I will empty it when this happens to see if maybe that is the problem. Process of elimination!

Odd, I've never had that issue. The only reason the water wouldn't be getting sucked up would be the machine's shut off the suction due to being full, or there's a blockage in the air path. Maybe if it happens again, switch it off (check if
tank full first) then remove the brush roll and check the air path behind the brush running up to the dirt tank for a blockage. If no blockage, remove the pleated filter from the top of the dirt tank and check the metal grill on it for debris - this can restrict airflow if not clean. Good luck! Otherwise give Bissell a call, I've found them quite helpful :)

I'm having a problem removing the window covering the brush. It seems to get stuck or something, I've broken the two little feet trying to prise the thing out. It keeps happening.

I don’t work for BISSELL. I just own one and love it. Mine gets a bit stuck too at times. It’s just a matter of getting it at the right angle to take it off and not forcing it. You’ll have to get in touch with BISSELL. I am just a customer who reviewed the cleaner.

Hi Lynne, I have found that I have to be careful when putting the clear cover back on. It’s easy to misalign it. I am worried the plastic clips will break when I give a pull to get the cover off again but so far so good. Sorry I can’t help.

Where online can I buy a spare roller to fit a 2588F crosswave cordless please?

Hey Chris, this was a huge issue for us also mate. The website (Aussie version), is extremely hard to navigate with confusing part numbers and compatibility info. Unfortunately, no help from support either.
The best part is, if you don’t purchase genuine parts (which aren’t readily available in Aus) you good your warranty. Go figure.

The rollers are available on their website here: https://www.bissellshop.com.au/products/crosswave-multi-surface-tangle-free-brush-roll Part number is #2519. Electrical retailers stock them, and are able to order them in for you upon request if out of stock. All Crosswave rollers fit any Crosswave machine - whether its original Crosswave, Crosswave Pet, or Crosswave Cordless. Hope this helps. If all else fails, they're only a phone call away or hit them up on social media.
