Shocking - Nothing but problems - no wonder its been discontinued !!!!

published

Problems from day one. Installation and unit issues from day one. Installer condescending! Service terrible. I gave up after nothing but problems for 2years.
Every winter it’s frustrating.
Tonight is apparently 29 degrees in the house apparently!!!! ( we are sitting with blankets and jumpers on) To get the remote to change temperature we have to place outside for the unit to come back on.
Paid extra for dampers/ zoning have never worked. !!!
Absolutely terrible.
Will never recommend a Bonaire.

It often breaks down.

I bought the 5 star ducted gas central heater on the 3rd April, 2012. It always stopped without any reason. I have to turn off the heater for one day, give it a rest; then turn it on again to get the Heater going. It is not the ideal Heater. Also, every year I have to hire a Technician for service; otherwise, the Heater just does not work.

Purchased in for $1,900.

Good enough

It warms well enough for its age. Have had no trouble I. All the years we have used it. Cannot fault it or the cost originally. Good overall heating unit have used Bonaire products in the past and will still do so. . . . . . . . . . .. . .

Does anyone know which pins on the digital thermostat connector within the heater / on the controller correspond to red, yellow, green & white on generic digital thermostats?

The Bonaire navigator controller has a 4 pin cable with identical connections at each end. I want to continue to use my existing thermostats by cutting off the thermostat end on the new control wire and hard wiring it via screw connectors.

Bonaire have not responded to my e-mails!
