Bosch moved to cold water inlet only in their models Aquascure water inlets years ago. The manual confirms this. They use the heating element in the washing machine to precisely heat the water to the required temperature, as the hot water inlets are variable in temperature and often take a while to heat up.

Hi, I purchased the WAY32891AU from Appliance Online about a month ago and was checking the manual to see how I can access the additional programs.
On closer inspection I noticed the image on the website shows a ‘Towel’ program on the main dial under Shirts.
My machine does not have Towel feature at all on the main dial or under the Additional Programs.
Also, looking at the manual I don’t have the following programs: Lingerie, Kidswear, Outdoor, Down Wear, Outdoor/Waterproofing and Sportswear.
I called Appliance Online and they were confused about the image showing something different to what’s on the actual machine.
Hopefully I haven’t purchased a older model.

Hi, The Towel program is on page 34 of the manual. You select it on the dial using Additional Programs and then scrolling through on the menus to find it (see page 27 of the manual)

Choosing cold water however inside was very hot.
Water supply is connected to a water hose.
In gentle mode can wash at 30 degrees. In other modes, the inside of the washing machine is hot and the drainage is very hot.
I wanted just washing with just water!
What is the problem?

It is supposed to be connected to cold water only. The temperature controls alter the temperature the appliance heats the water to.

This appliance is designed to be connected to cold water only and the system cannot be adjusted to cope with other types of water. Unless it is changed to cold water there may be issues with your appliance that will not be covered under a warranty.

It is connected to the cold only. But at the cold setting it washes hot.

Hi,
On the wool program the machine deactivates detergent and activate softener dispensing while it should deactivate the softener dispenser as it is bad for wool. Any idea?

The appliance is acting normally. The middle compartment can be filled with fabric softener for normal loads or for special detergent as required, for the woolen load.

After a bit troubleshooting and looking at the manual, I found that when the wool program is selected, softener can be disabled. The detergent cannot be disabled. Turned softener off and all working as expected. The manual is a bit confusing. A big company like Bosch should spend a bit of money some sort of virtual reality manual for a machine with that price tag.

Does the Bosch HomeProfessional mean it is more commercial quality than the others? Also why doesn't it have the crease free or iron less feature? Can you do goose down in this machine? Also Bosch always had the best outcome for towels. They came out fluffy, but reviews indicate this is no longer the case. How can we fix this?

The Home Professional range has an adjustable door hinge. The adjustable spin speed on most cycles and the rinse hold feature our version that reduces the need for ironing. This model has a Quilts function designed for items with down. If the desired result is not provided by the washing machine itself putting towels in the dryer will help.

Hi, I was doing a cycle in washing machine and it has stopped with 1 hr remaining. There is power to the machine but when I press the start button nothing happens. Draining any water and releasing the door via the service door on the bottom right hand side of the machine. As for the cause of the issues, checking the drain pump in the same location would be a good step, and if it doesn't fix the issue a service call would be needed.

The size that the appliance can accommodate is dependent on the weight(9kg on cottons is the maximum) and volume of the comforter. You might be able to check with a local retail partner as to if they have one on display and take any you are concerned about in to see if they will fit. Hi, I have just purchased this machine and would like some clarification on how the I-Dos system works. There are two buttons on the display for I-DOS. The top button is fabric softener symbol (flower) /detergent symbol (drop). The bottom button is just the detergent symbol. If I want to do a regular load and use both detergent and fabric softener in my load, do I just activate the top button with both symbols? Will this draw solution from fabric softener and detergent compartments to wash my clothes? And if it does, do I have to turn off the bottom button with just the detergent symbol so I'm not getting a double dose of detergent? The manual does not explain this very clearly. I have called Bosch twice and no one was able to give me an answer with any certainty! Thank you

I-dos setting - If you wish to use liquid detergent and softener in your washing cycle, select the I-dos button (flower/drop symbol). This will dispense from the far left and the middle compartment.in the detergent drawer.
Do not select I-dos button (drop symbol) unless you would like to use liquid detergent only with no softener.
